To end off the Kanye West rollout as far as Voltru's one, let's get into the actual man that created original bodies of work and didn't have to take certain iconic samples.
Or if you did take him, he cleared them.
At the very least, if he did use a sample, he cleared him.
So this is Kanye West, just giving a just a very motivational type speech.
on how he overcame self-doubt during the tour for college dropout in 2004.
Remind you, it's 20-24.
So this is how this man was talking 20 years ago.
And throughout this is super important to remind you that Kanye was pioneered a lot of certain topics that people will rap about today.
If it wasn't for Kanye, I think the whole hip-hop space would be about.
about selling drugs and killing people 25 times over.
Kanye West came and really gave us certain raps
that was based off a lifestyle that wasn't as respectable in the hip hop space.
It was more of the corny route to rap about things that's law-abiding,
but still have some type of cool aspect to it.
It was an oxymoron for people in the hip-hop community.
that's why he says oh you ain't going to talk about shooting people you're just going to talk about
regular stuff in your life like back then Kanye was looked at as crazy but now obviously he's looked at
as crazy so let's keep going let's keep going with the video
you know it took me a long time to write jesus walks i stood in front of my equipment
and i pray to god to help me to write it you know and sometimes i would think man well maybe i
should just sell this meat maybe it's too good for me maybe maybe i shouldn't try to rap anymore maybe
Maybe I still just, you know, kill my dreams.
And at nighttime, just to go to sleep at night, I had to sit up there and just be like, man, I know I could do it.
And build it up within myself, a force field around myself, and a cockiness and an area is that where I walk into the office, you can't tell me shit.
My shit is hot.
Fuck you.
You don't know.
You don't know.
You don't know.
You don't know.
tuition all right so i'm just uh i don't know if that's a freestyle or what i had to stay in the power of my dreams
i used it as my gas so they say that i'm gas but without it i'll be laughed so i'm up to laugh
so i don't listen to the suits behind the desk though all right so i'm just uh i don't know if
that's a freestyle or what i had to cut that out because i don't know if that's the actual song
i ain't trying to copyright so that being said uh there was another thing that Kanye was had
It was just very inspiring and just, hey, yo, somebody put a meme talking about how he
listening to F some on Votures.
I'm like, bro, ain't no way.
People need help in society.
Anyways, yeah, Kanye West dropped this album.
People are liking it.
It's crazy.
It's been 20 years, really 20 plus years, honestly, that Kanye West has been in the game just
running it.
And at this point, Kanye West is such a brand that.
you can't really say anything about him like he really is one of a kind musician when it
comes to producing and being a performer as far as an artist like a rapper
singer the combination we'll never see again I don't think and if we do it's not
gonna be anytime soon even with Drake I would say he has a Noah 40 he always
gives credit to as far as the production side kanya west produces and rice his own well not rice his
but and uh performs vocally like he doesn't obviously he gets help but hopefully i understand that producing
is his own art in itself and that's very hard to do and to to become a master and then to become a
performer vocally whether you're rapping or not it's very hard to do as far as mastering that as well so
what i just want to tell y'all is that kanya west has has performed both at a level that i don't think
we've we will see in a foreseeable future i mean 20 plus years and he's still running the game i mean at
this point this man is literally like maybe the greatest musician of all time so with that being said
click my link tree in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about kanya west and
todd dada sign's new collab album vultures one and if you've already listened to it what is
your favorite track currently.
