Starting point is 00:00:01 Now this segment is strictly music because I want you all to know some Kanye West is a genius when it comes to making music. I know a lot of people are usually on the side of calling him a genius, but it's things like this where you delay a project for so long end up putting it out and is still better than 99.9% of other artists music that they put out. So it's kind of crazy the way that this man comes up with this just, just, body of work in a way that makes it makes it quality and obviously
Starting point is 00:00:36 I'm talking from an analytical side because I haven't listened to the album I'm looking at the masses what they publicly are saying about it because obviously I'm going to listen to it and I'm going to give my review after some time of me just letting the album sink in letting the public you know give the first and second review or listen reviews
Starting point is 00:00:58 but for me I want to kind of sit with it a little bit Anyways, this album is basically an hour long, 55 minutes, 40 seconds was released today. A lot of tracks on this album. I don't know how many. Let's see how many tracks. 16 tracks. So currently, it seems like some tracks are actually, it seems like all the tracks are gone crazy. And the most interesting tidbit I could give you right now is if you go all the way down, well, if you have Spotify, I don't know how it works for iTunes.
Starting point is 00:01:29 But if you go all the way down to the album, but to the bottom of the album, you see that it's copyright protected by Yeezy. Y, Z Y. So what does that mean? This man is literally independent. This is not no fake independent where he gets a distribution from a major label, but then goes back to bid independent. This is not no, oh, behind the scenes, independent because the major label is backing me because at the end of the day, there's no major label. that's not going to take points from what your album is selling, right? They would love to take credit for the points that your album puts up as far as sales.
Starting point is 00:02:10 But with Kanye West and his whole ordeal that he's put himself into, no album, no major label really wants to touch his album as far as distributing it because of the backlash and the obstacles they would have to run through, which is while once again, Kanye West came out and literally said that he's having trouble getting arenas. Now imagine being Kanye West's magnitude as far as status and not being able to get whatever arena you like.
Starting point is 00:02:37 It's not like he's, let me chill. Actually, let me not chill. It's not like he's Travis Scott out here killing people. You know what I mean? Like with Kanye West, he's actually invoking emotions from his crowd in a way that it's a great atmosphere, but nobody is dying because of,
Starting point is 00:02:56 his um ensigning inciting a riot you know Kanye west is not really one of those that's a that's a safety risk can't say the same for Travis Scott but you already know if you listen to the pod how i feel about that so anyways so the album Voters 1 obviously has a lot of different prominent artists on it I think for the biggest thing when it comes to music I mean there's a vinyl already out there's CDs and I'm just looking at the actual site so you can look this up yourself as well With the album, obviously having a vinyl, I think that's pretty cool. I think when I get older, that's one of the things when I get older. I don't know if I'm on a vinyl right now.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Like, what am I going to do with a vinyl at my age? Like, come on now. Like, maybe I get a vinyl player at some point and probably just have it in the background, but you already know, if I bought something that's forever, no pun intended, it's going to be Drake. Like, it's going to be something Drake created. Like, come on now. Anyways, getting back into Kanye.
Starting point is 00:03:52 I think that this album would end up doing number. but only if it doesn't get taken off because it seems like platforms are playing certain not even platforms certain companies are playing certain games with them and I do want to leave you off with this so if Kanye was is actually completely independent I wonder if his marketing team would try to go full throttle on TikTok because UMG artists cannot get played on TikTok without getting taken down or muted so with that being said i think this is a prime opportunity for conya west's media team to come out with the elaborate ticot scheme and take over like a conier west ticot collab would be so fire that it
Starting point is 00:04:38 wouldn't even be funny and at this point i think he's in a position to to make that his his main marketing strategy because obviously nobody else is messing with him you want the arena go to ticot and take it over i bet you that'll be one you know this a pg podcast but that'll definitely be one you know what of arena so anyways with that being said click my link to you in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about Kanye west and Todd dollar sign releasing the album Vultures 1 and if you've listened to the entire album what is your favorite
