Analytic Dreamz: Notorious Mass Effect - "KANYE WEST - EVERYBODY"

Starting point is 00:00:00 Kanye, being the diabolical genius that he is, saw Drake on stage with the Backstreet Boys. And if you don't know, this happened in July 2nd, 2022, where if it wasn't obvious enough, Drake is from Canada. So when the Backstreet Boys came to Toronto for the concert, they couldn't resist inviting Drake, of course, to come on stage and sing along with them in their iconic track. I want it that way. And also, they had a couple harmonies. They also sing and they danced along together. Then Drake went to watch their backstreet boys perform from the backseat of the house, of course. So Kanye West, being the person that he is, saw this and said the famous phrase for the famous meme, hold my beer.

Starting point is 00:00:58 Because currently, this man has just previewed a new track titled Everybody from his upcoming collaborative album with Todd Dollar Sign. Now, this feature is interesting because Todd Dollar Sign gets the unfair criticism of giving his best work on features. So this is a match made in heaven if you ask some. But for me, I think Todd Dollar Sign is also good on his own. but that's you know if you listen to beach house or if you didn't listen to beach house i don't know if i can talk to you about todd d'allisian music so with that being said this obviously features the backstreet

Starting point is 00:01:37 boys everybody's uh everybody and it's incorporated into the track and the role of the sample in this track is going to be tremendous for the fact that not only is this a part of the the collaborative track or collaborative album between Kanye West and Todd Dollar sign. But lookie here. The track list has been revealed and everybody is the first track on the album. So not only is he giving us a snippet to one of the singles of the album, but maybe he's just giving us a snippet to how the album is going to start off. Kanye West is one of those type of artists where he is

Starting point is 00:02:21 is the ultimate genius when it comes to music creation, and even though music is subjective, if you don't like Kanye West's musical ability, I think your critique or criticism on the music landscape could not be taken seriously. And there's no disrespect to anybody who doesn't like Kanye West's music. But Kanye West is up there. with the greatest of all time when it comes to the ability to form together great bodies of work in every aspect of the elements. Being a producer, going into a artist, it's not easy. If it was easy, Dr. Dre would have been accepted as a rapper, but that never happened.

Starting point is 00:03:16 Farrell would have been accepted as a rapper. That never happened. Metro Boomin The list goes on and on I mean, I think Pierre Bourne put out an album And still to this day, I think nobody listened to it So anyways, Kanye West is one of those Who successfully went from producer to artists

Starting point is 00:03:33 In a way that he is now respected At the highest degree in each field What they say, Pee Wee Kirkland, Legend in Two Games, I forget how they said But basically, Kanye West has became a legend in two games And now is regarded as one of the most genius-like minds in the music industry. So enough praise for Kanye West.

Starting point is 00:04:00 The album track list has revealed Todd Dollar Sign, Timbalam, Timbalam, includes previously unreleased tracks like New Body. If you haven't heard that, straightfire with Nicky Minaj, Ty Dollar Sign, and somebody else, I forget. But anyways, of course, they're going to face controversy because Kanye West has said the most outlandish things that you can even think of out loud in public with the platform. So he's dealing with that backlash, right?

Starting point is 00:04:29 Now he's wearing a symbol associated with German history, including Nazi usage with his promotional video. So, you know, even that aspect is wild. It's not a little wild. It's wild. It's big wild, you know, time to bring back the adjectives. That is big wild. as Kanye was just out here not caring or not having to care in the world with his

Starting point is 00:04:58 ignorance towards anti-Semitism right so with that being said speculation has arised with the album's release date happening sooner than expected simply for the fact that they have now revealed the track list so if you reveal the track list you're already not that you have some type of finalized version because if you don't know, Kanye West will show you something and take it away in the heartbeat. But what he's never done, which I don't think he's ever done this yet, Kanye West fans may have to correct me. But I don't think he's ever given a track list and then changed it drastically, if that makes sense. Like usually when he gives out a track list, that's usually the album that comes out, if that makes sense. But if it's like an album title,

Starting point is 00:05:44 like when I told y'all, Don the two wasn't coming out when he said it was coming out late 2020, 2021 that that's basically what happened that man went from talking about don to to it ended up being some type of exclusive collectors item because it's on some type of ipod or i forget what they call those things but anyways um yeah so connie west was just live blatantly for no reason so for them to reveal the track list makes me feel like this is an actual album that's going to be on our ds sooner than expected So that being said, Kanye West has been working on the project

Starting point is 00:06:23 in Saudi Arabia. Delane gets released in November while seeking a distributor for the album. So if you don't know, that's industry talk for, hey, who wants to buy this album because I'm selling,

Starting point is 00:06:35 I forget what's, I'm selling the distribution rights. I forget how, there's a certain way you're supposed to say it. Basically, when you're independent, you can't get into certain markets because your major labels kind of

Starting point is 00:06:51 even though you're not supposed to. They monopolize certain playlists, radio stations to where you can't really get played. Kanye West is going to get played regardless. But now to get the billboards, to get certain posters, you may have to get with a major label to try to distribute to certain other media outlets who will make those billboards and posters for you. So in that aspect, now you are up for, now you are selling your album and seeing who will throw the biggest bag at you to put out your album for them to pull.

Starting point is 00:07:21 put out your album. So when young boy was on Atlantic, he did this towards the end of his career like a year or two ago where he would put every album he put out, which is why he put out so many albums last year, was getting a re-up from Atlantic because they didn't want him to be a free agent. And he ended up becoming a free agent. And now he's on capital, I believe. So with that being said, that's a lot of industries talk that I don't think y'all care about. So, so Kanye West is currently shopping the album. trying to get a major label just to throw the bag at him so he could go back to um saying whatever he feels like or whatever comes to his head because at this point that's
