Analytic Dreamz: Notorious Mass Effect - "KANYE WEST & FREDDIE GIBBS - BACK TO ME"

Starting point is 00:00:01 All right, so just to recap, we have to get into everything Kanye West, as the album obviously was supposed to drop in October. Then the listening party in Italy was canceled, right? Then he announces the album title, which we all know now as Vultures 1. He holds a rave, forgets the oxcord, and is completely delayed for three hours. Remind you, I am going through the complete timeline. of what Kanye fans have been putting themselves through. After that, Kanye West, of course, stays up all night to finish the album, ends the night with a Hall of Fame rant in a way that only Kanye West can.

Starting point is 00:00:50 And then guess what? When the album is supposed to drop December 15th, he pulls a Kanye and just doesn't release it. Then he posts the cover art, which is supposedly supposed to just just, make us forget that the album was supposed to drop in the first place so everybody once again gets excited but of course the cover heart is highly controversial then mr west goes silent for weeks i mean just acts like he didn't promise or something and didn't deliver right he just goes away like he already delivered it was almost like when Kobe won the championship he

Starting point is 00:01:36 acted like he won the championship and just went into hiding but like Kobe once famously said the job was not finished so guess what he realized that came back through sources and said that it will drop December 31st remember it's 2024 in February this is how long Kanye fans have been putting themselves through this torture just by believing this man won't repeat his actions that he's been repeating since his past for the past three to four years i mean the whole good music rollout the whole donda rollout we've been through this time and time again oh the whole donda to roll out y'all check your ds and see that if that's even up it's still it's still not up he been promises that album right

Starting point is 00:02:27 all right let's complete the timeline then guess what December 31st comes and the album's not released oh shit I can trick this with that one right I really thought it was gonna release that time like it was really one of those was like damn you got us like who would have thought that you would have not dropped it when you say he was going to so anyways now it's apparently three albums he comes out again says it's like three versions of the album even though he hasn't given us one. But to be fair, he's had a lot of listening parties where people technically already heard

Starting point is 00:03:02 certain bits and pieces of the album and that's how certain snippets have surfaced online. So Kanye West goes to his hometown, Chicago, and has a listening party. But guess what? He doesn't drop the album once again. Now, he's beefing with the one and only Ozzy Osborne to the point where people are bringing up clips of Ozzy. he's saying that his inspiration for music is Hitler. Now, whether that's a deep fake or not,

Starting point is 00:03:28 I don't know. I just know Kanye West fans are ruthless when it comes to defending their musician. So now, New York listening party, and of course it doesn't drop, once again, I mean, just count them many times the album has not dropped and fans have been upset. You would think they would catch on to the pattern at this point. they just bank they just keep doing the same thing over and over and over again and it's expecting a different result some will call that insanity but we're just gonna keep going right kanya was then drops the album randomly at 3 a.m on a saturday now we have reached current day current time which yes ladies and gentlemen voters one is now out on all dsps that's basically what the whole timeline was for

Starting point is 00:04:21 to let you know that the album is finally out in your phone, you can listen to it in its entirety. If you're looking at certain things when it comes to the rollout, just know Kanye West's rollout is pretty plain and simple at this point. Promise one thing, don't deliver, build hype. That's it. And Kanye West fans fall for it time and time again to the point where I've been saying for the longest, don't believe when Kanye West announces a release date,

Starting point is 00:04:51 but people still want to believe it. So at this point, I can't help them. They just got to help themselves. It's almost like bringing what a horse? I think that's the phrase. Bringing a horse to the water, but you can't make it drink. You know what I'm saying? I think it's a horse.

Starting point is 00:05:04 Hopefully it is a horse. If it's some other animal, then, hey, that metaphor was, you know what I mean? So anyways, what else? Oh, so now changes to the cover, which you can see is the backside of his wife, literally, like she's completely naked. think that little piece covering her bottom because this is a PG podcast you know I'm saying um I believe that probably wasn't there to begin with and Kanye was had to put it just to put it up on DSPs because guess what you can't really have that type of stuff on platforms with the likes of Spotify and Apple music so I'm pretty sure they made him cover her up just a little bit because

Starting point is 00:05:46 if you've seen the way he's had his I think his wife at this point walking around I mean let's just say even mannequins and shopping malls couldn't possibly wear less clothes. So let's just leave it at that. So with that being said, there's a lot of samples that haven't been clear for the album. But we're going to get to that down the road because basically what I want to do is use each and every segment because we're going to break this up because people is wanting this review of the Kanye West album when y'all already know this could change at any second he could take it down um change it up you know whenever his DSPs you what whenever you um stream something you don't own it unless you go to apple iTunes and buy it you don't own the product that he put out so if you want this version of
