The genius mastermind, Mr. West, is back at it again with a new addition and not only a new addition, a new addition that would never reach or see the light of day on DSPs. And I say that as a reoccurring phrase simply for the fact that it's been longstanding knowledge that Kanye West makes a lot of music and just never releases it. And obviously, you know, at this point in time, with people talking about the rumored fresh quote unquote verse from Rihanna on the track, if I can find it. On the track God level, people are saying that that track has been refreshed with a new verse from Rihanna. That's false. People are talking about the Nikki verse, talking about how Kanye was putting up on Instagram music,

means that it may see the light of day on DSPs. that's false and that is why i want to get into this segment because basically Kanye west and his marketing team is doing a is putting on a master class on how to promote your artists i mean talking about i mean talk about touching each influencer in their respective fields there's a reason why Kanye west has went back and forth with aden ross and kaisenat in the past two to three weeks there's a complete rolander's a complete rollout plan as far as getting the masses attention. So that's work because currently Carnival is top five on the charts.

It used to be number one, but of course, when you get into the likes of, actually, let's look it up. When you get into the likes of, I think it's Ariana Grande. Yeah, so we have Ariana Grande, number one, just straight out. And then we have Teddy Swims, we lose control. Benzson Boone with beautiful things and then Carnival at number four so it used to it peaked at number one of course which is a humongous accomplishment for an indie artist but now is at number four which is still tremendous but basically going back to why I'm saying this is because this um addition to the marketing

masterclass that his team is putting on and firing one of the quote unquote pivotal people who was um helping connier's marketing promotions as also like imagine firing somebody on your marketing team and turning that into a marketing promotion and playing off of yes jewels because i don't know if the whole firing is real it seems like it's real could be a promotional stunt but people love negativity so either way people are going to tune to tune into it so with this negative outcome with yes jewels being fired in the most comedic way possible i don't think i have it up but um basically in the past it was like a email and it was like oh obviously you're fired after the previous email stated why she'd be fired you know she basically went against the india or whatever

even though it says in the same email that she didn't sign the contract whatever i'm calling PR stunt, but people seem to think it's real. So with this stunt, yes, Jules, is just divulging all type of information that Kanye West fans are eating up. And one of them was Ice Spice and Doja Cat

being sent the new body track because of the OG Nicki Minajiverse not being cleared by Nikki, simply for the fact that Nikki is as hot as she's ever been in her career. And that's saying something, because she's been in the game for like 20 plus years. So she's as hot as she's ever been. Pink Friday 2 is as

successful as she's ever had as far as an album. And now you want to, you want her verse on new body on your new album when back in Dondah, I believe when the verse was supposed to be cleared, he left the track off completely. So when he had the chance to use her verse, he didn't. But now that she's hot as she's ever been in her career. Statistically, music-wise, I mean, super freaky girl, I think was the second track by a solo rapper to ever go number one alongside Lauren Hill. So with that being said, now you choose to use her verse in your upcoming project.

Nikki obviously wasn't going for that. So she didn't clear it. And basically the response or the, the effect of that. Yeah, that's what I was trying to say. The effect of that is Kanye sent that track to Ice Spice and Dojikad to fill in that verse simply because that verse is no longer cleared because Nikki Minaj took it away. So he was like, who's the next best person to fill in her verse?

Which is very interesting topic in itself because do you actually believe an ice spice verse is complimentary or a correct substitute for a naked Minaj verse. It's almost like for my ballers out there. It's almost like in the All-Star game, when somebody gets hurt and then you try to substitute that person with the next best, right? Ice spice is by far not the next best. So I'm glad Doja Cat was also. attached to this. But seeing as Doja Cat would not try to follow suit and be in the Nikki Minaj

replacement because obviously for her brain at this point, she's too big for that. But seemingly, Ice Spice wasn't. I mean, hey, shocking, right? Surprise. Ice Spice actually was the one who jumped at the opportunity. She turned in her verse for the new body. But Kanye West said himself that her team is refusing to clear her verse basically so not only did he get the the the not a complimentary replacement but that so that uncomplimentary replacement is not clearing her verse like her team's not clearing the verse so now what does saying it to the internet what does that actually accomplish nothing but marketing so this whole thing is just a marketing PR stunt to put more eyes on the fact that Kanye is working on a new album which seemingly is still coming to DSPs because first people were

saying oh it's just only going to be on the website where you have to buy directly but of course Kanye West came to his senses and realized people would just bootleg an album and then they'll just get it for free so now he's going to put it on streaming platforms because he just realizes that In all actuality, people used to sell physical copies, but then they stopped for a reason. And I know people love to say, oh, it's the streaming platforms that's devaluing music. But really, when they was putting out physical copies, I think personally, this is just me, it was easier to pirate music. And I know you could say, oh, streaming makes it easier to pirate music. But at least when something's out already officially on a platform that you can get for free, you would rather stream it on that

platform instead of bootlegging like why bootleg if the official platform is also free hopefully it makes sense but if something's physical you're going to be more inclined to not even so so basically the people who was going to support in the first place are not going to because there's a barrier to entry even though it may be lower than other tracks or other music it's still a barrier to entry and even though there's a low price people are not going to want to pay it so they'll just bootlegged but now with streaming, official platforms have a free option. So now you can get some support from the less fortunate in a way that you otherwise wouldn't have

if you try to just make people only access the music through purchase. Hopefully that makes sense. But if not, then the only thing you should take away from this or the main thing you should take away from this is that IcePice was the replacement to a Nicki Minaj's new body verse, which if you've never heard the new body OG verse from Nicky Minaj, I mean, straightfire.

I mean, there's a reason why people call Kanye West a genius and Nicky and Minajah's top five lyricists. And with the two combined as far as Kanye West's mastermind, producer, well, producer mastermind and Nicky Minagia's lyrical ability combining, it was just an amazing track in new body. But now she's not clearing her verse. So you try to get Ice Spice, Doja Cat. DojaCast obviously not going for that. Ice spice, you know, unsurprisingly, you know, leaped at the opportunity. And now her team's not clearing it.

So now you're back where you started. So let this be a lesson to all the premier acts out there that trying to get somebody publicly and then being turned down and then trying to get somebody else as a replacement for that may not always end up well because of the optics. So with that being said, to get back to my mom, Hooper analogy is like if Joelle and B. got hurt and then you try to replace them with that dude from the Pistons who try to charge LeBron James. And the fact that I don't even know his name
