now i know y'all see the screen and i know y'all can probably tell when i'm going with this so basically
drake j z and conier west probably won't give us any music with all of them on one track for the
foreseeable future if they were to give us a track with all three of them on the same
beat
I don't think it would sound
how you would hope
because for one
Drake
has some type of vendetta
against Kanye West
if you don't believe me
we're in the year
2023
and the only track
that's out currently
from the boy
has a cover
of a lookalike
from Kim Kay
and he's talking
about searching rescue
I mean you just put
two and two together
so they're not going to be
collaborating anytime soon
then we have j z who has been distancing himself they've been doing what what uh disney won't do
with jonathan majors this man j z has distanced himself from conier west faster than uh i ain't
a lot he's distanced himself faster from conier west i've never seen a move like this
i was trying to compare it to something but i can't really think of anything it's like the opposite
to what Disney is doing to Jonathan Matrix.
So that's probably the way I can compare it to.
Because the way that he won't,
oh, it's kind of like Adidas.
Yeah, Adidas, you know, taking Kanye back
and it was like, hey, you know, maybe we messed up.
How about you come back and we can sell the rest of these JZs?
Jay-Z was like, you know what?
You're talented and everything,
but I just can't stand by you
and your blasphemence takes no longer.
So Jay-Z is off by himself.
So we probably won't get any Jay-Z and Kanye West
and Drake music anytime soon.
I know what you're probably saying.
You're probably talking about the rendition of Jay-Z putting a verse on the Donda album.
But if you don't realize how that came about, that track was for the baby.
And that was back when the baby was getting canceled.
Right?
I think I had my timeline.
Correct.
I think that was in 2020.
The baby was getting canceled.
Of course, Kanye didn't care.
So he had him on the same track.
And oh, also, it was so.
much backstory with that. The Megan
the Stallion was going through the Torrey Lane's thing
and the baby around that time that Donda was coming
out, brought Tori Lanes out right after Megan the Stallion performed, like
right after. Like I think it literally violated Tori Lanes' probation, which
you know, at the end of the day, Troy Lanes just broke the rule so many
time and just, it was not a law about a citizen. That's, unfortunately,
because I don't want to see no black man in prison. Unfortunately, that's why he's in prison
right now because he was just playing with the law too much so anyways i mean also he you know
y'all know what happened but um so yeah the baby did that thing and i think that track was originally
supposed to have the baby and j z on the same track but because of the whole thing with the baby and
you probably wonder how j z fits into this equation um making the stallion is being managed
quote unquote by rock nation and i say quote unquote because she's also beefing with her label if you don't
follow hip hop this is definitely confusing so I can see if you get lost but but uh megan
stallion is also beefing with her label ran by Carl Crawford and him well he is suing
megan the stallion for something I don't know and Megan the stallion they're like going through
some type of stalemate we're trying to put out music so um yeah Megan Estallion's trying to go to
rock nation who's managed by Jay Z and basically I say all that to say that's why their baby and
on the same beat, but just two different tracks.
It's like two different versions of the same song.
If you go listen to Donda, you don't know what I'm talking about.
There's a version with the baby and there's a version with Jay-Z.
It could have easily, and I mean easily, been a version with both of them together.
But of course, with the whole controversy surrounding the baby and Megan the Stallion
and Jay-Z wanted to look like a good, you know, label mate because, you know, he's definitely
the head of Rock Nation.
He probably was like, you know, it probably wouldn't be a good look to give,
be on the same track with somebody who literally pulled that stunt to uh probably offend megan
that probably offended her a little bit so anyways i say all that to say that j z could possibly
give a verse to drake possibly give a verse to conier but another throne featuring drake situation
would never happen again because you know i try to tell y'all some of the things that happens in hip-hop
And I don't think sometimes y'all believe me because, you know, there's a lot of things that go on.
If you're not in the know, you're just thinking somebody's making it up.
But the last time we almost got a Jay-Z Drake and Kanye track was back in 2016, I believe, with views.
And it was called pop style.
And let's just say there's a reason why now there's a version of that track without Jay-Z or Kanye.
and it's just Drake straight rapping.
Because if you look at pop style,
the throne featuring Drake,
there's a version where Jay-Z and Kanye's also on the track.
And then there's a version where it's just Drake.
And there's a reason why the version with Drake
is the only one that's available on DSPs.
And I'm going to leave it at that.
So for this AI evolution to give us
Drake, J-Z, and Kanye West on the same track
covering more money by more problems
by notorious B.I.G.
Mace and P. Ditty.
A lot of people are indifferent
about the AI covers
because, you know, sometimes
when artists aren't here anymore,
you want them to rest and peace
and not just try to make money
off of their likeness when, you know,
the estate is definitely around the corner
to try to sue you. You know, shout out to the Marming Gay Estate.
They'd be suing everybody.
I mean, especially just as Robin Thick.
But anyways,
So anyways, let's wrap up this segment. So click my link to you in my bio.
Let me know in one of my social medias.
What do you think about this AI cover featuring the goats of hip hop?
I mean, Kanye West, Drake, and Jay-Z and their cover of More Money, More Problems by Notorious BiG.
Will you be giving it a listen?
Or do you think it's gotten out of hand?
