Starting point is 00:00:00 Some of the melodies and the harmonies that this track is hitting, I think shows us what is to come with this collaborative album. Because the biggest thing with this, track five, beg forgiveness with Kanye West and Todd Dollar Sign, is that basically, this is like Todd Dollar Signing on full display with Kanye West's production on full display. Now, obviously, that may make no sense for some people. But if you listen to beg forgiveness, he's basically singing along with the beat. It is a perfect capture of how a Kanye West and Todd Dollar Sign collaboration is supposed to sound. Like as far as vocally on the Todd Dollar Sound part and as far as production wise on a Kanye West part, beg forgiveness is the perfect blend of the two. And just watching the snippets and the previews and listening to it, it was just like,
Starting point is 00:00:58 It seemed like they had a lot of fun messing around with the different melodies they was trying to achieve. As you can even hear in the snippet at the end of the track, Kanye West basically freestyle in some harmonies with the people beside him so you know that this isn't the final version because I think at this point in time, Kanye West is just so confident with the work that him and Todd Dollar Signed has achieved, that he is just letting people hear the rough mix of it, which is similar to how he did the Donda release, similar to how he did the Donda 2 rollout, similar to how he does every rollout for every Kanye West album.
Starting point is 00:01:37 So I'm happy to see him be super confident in this collaborative project because I think the last time he did a collaborative project was with Kid Cuddy, if I'm not mistaken, which it was KISS-C ghosts, I believe. And I don't think he had this type of rollout for that project. And that track or collaborative album actually had some great fantastic tracks, I might add, on the album to the point where I wished he actually took that more seriously than he ended up taking it because he basically did not care about that collaborative project after it was released. Yeah, it was a KSie ghost project. And basically, it was 23 minutes, 52 seconds. So technically, I guess you could say it's an EP
Starting point is 00:02:28 because anything under 45 minutes for people who don't know out there, anything under 45 minutes is considered an EP. But my favorite track off of that project was Fourth Dimension. Now, it had somebody called Lewis Prima. I don't know who that is. But anyways, that was my favorite track off of that album.
Starting point is 00:02:48 And I do think that with Kanye West, he should be able to put out certain snippets for each and every collaborative album he has. But hey, no need to have revisionist history because now we see that he is improved on his collaborative album promo. And he is now putting forth the effort for an actual album with another artist. Because usually the only effort that will come from Kanye West is whenever, it's him attached to it because some people don't remember Kanye West had a literal
Starting point is 00:03:26 album with Nas and it was straight trash I want to repeat that Nas being the greatest rapper of well not all the time but you know one of the greatest rappers that ever touch a mic Kanye was being the greatest
Starting point is 00:03:43 musician when it comes to hip hop collabing with the album and it coming out to be straight trash is almost a slap in the face. I think it was called Nazir, Nassir, or something like that. It was like 26 minutes and 32 seconds. It was just one of those things where it was just the ultimate disgrace. And that's one of the biggest letdowns in hip hop history whenever you look back at it and realize that two goats collaborated and it came out sounding like it did. It almost reminded me of when Jay-Z and J. Electronica came out with their album. And that was just straight,
Starting point is 00:04:19 that was just straight trash like at that point it's like dang maybe j z and naz need to hold it uh hang it up i don't know where that came from but somebody has to acknowledge that j z and j electronia i i i'm coming together for that album was straight straight mediocre and basura so that being said click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about this track specifically track five beg forgiveness off of connie west's and dollar son's collaborative album Vultures and do you think this snippet is fire or trash and also shout out to R IH capital Y e underscore on Twitter if you want to hear all the snippets for the album
