Starting point is 00:00:00 Now, of course, getting back into Kanye West, you always have to acknowledge that this man has completely lost his mind. Now, with that out the way, all the way back in Little Old February 11th, 2024, this man Kanye West put out an album titled Vultures One. Now, of course, this album ended up going number one. and the biggest reason for this going number one, I think is because it was quality music followed up or previewed by a quality rollout as far as the marketing strategy. Now, of course, with Voltures 1 going number one and Kanye was being independent, because literally if you go to that album, go to the bottom of the credits where the credits can't live, right? It only says Yeezy. So Yeezy did the unthinkable, going number one as an independent act, because, because right now currently independent acts have a whopping 7% of the entire music industry.
Starting point is 00:01:07 Now, of course, Kanye added to that when he had Votures 1 and Votr's 2, but guess what? Votr's 2 was nowhere near as far as the amount of impact as Voters 1. So that probably took Kanye a back and probably he was thinking to himself that Votr's series was about to be phenomenal, right? I don't think Kanye has ever put out a sequel for one. of his albums before and the first sequel he ever put out was for vultures because it was a monumental accomplishment the first time we've ever first time in a while we've ever seen an artist who was actually independent like Kanye is beyond cancelable at this like beyond canceled at this point going number one as an independent act is something we haven't seen in a minute so that being said
Starting point is 00:01:53 the reason why i'm bringing up those stats is because he's far from that uh rise to fame as an independent act. I think this brother needs help. I think what Kanye is saying is some of the most blasphemous things you can ever speak and ever utter to the masses. And also very, very offensive to a lot of people. Let's just put it like that. Because right now, he's covering the entire spectrum. And that sentiment covers a lot. Let's just put like that. So what Kanye is. West, I think he needs help, but the reason why I'm talking about him for this segment, because you're probably thinking to yourself. Are you just talking about Kanye to cover vultures? No, of course not. He put out a YouTube video, which literally has the entire bully album.
Starting point is 00:02:45 But essentially, he says that it's unfinished, it sounds unfinished, I've listened to it, and half the vocals are AI. Now, when I tell y'all that AI should not be embraced the way it is by a Playboy Cardi, well, allegedly Playboy Cardi, using AI on the track with the weekend, I believe. I think it was the track with the weekend. It was another one, too. But as far as it being confirmed, they were saying that rather live with the weekend and Playboy Cardi, they said that was AI, not actually Playboy Cardi.
Starting point is 00:03:20 So with that being said, Kanye West using half of the vocals via AI is a scary proposition. And I would say to these artists coming up that if y'all want to implement AI the way that Kanye and Playbigh-Bicardi are doing, just know that it's making it 10 times easier for people to make post hummus music via your estate. Keep that mind. Post-hummus music via your estate. You pass away. We've already seen what they're doing with Juice World. We already seen what they deal with pop smoke. imagine if they could replicate your voice and still put out music posthumously through your estate.
Starting point is 00:04:08 I'm saying it's a very scary proposition that really only affects the 1% of the artists in this music game. Do you want the quality of your discography to be watered down because your family's family don't care about your legacy? Or do you really want to take a stand against AI and actually implement? the human element that was the original intention when it came to music anyways that means said bully is out i don't want to lecture y'all uh Kanye west i would rather not talk about him but i did say i would cover Kanye if he put out music and technically he put out a whole album well an unfinished album that's out on youtube obviously it's not on not out on DSPs because he's not gonna i mean Kanye doesn't have any tracks charting in the top of hundred he doesn't
Starting point is 00:04:55 have any albums in the top 50 like currently he is non-existent and the in the music industry. So him putting this out on YouTube is very interesting because I think he probably would have, you know, garner some type of traction on DSPs, but you know, when you actually put on DSPs, you know, that clearances and samples come into play. He's probably like, I'm not trying to do any of that, right?
Starting point is 00:05:16 So with that been said, bully is out on YouTube, SoundCloud, things of that nature. Half the vocals are AI, so that's very unfortunate. And when it comes to bully, it contains a lot of samples. going back to why I think it's not out on DSPs. I think the clearanceing issue for Kanye is going to be through the roof. I think he's going to finally realize the amount of people who was helping him clear samples in his career.
Starting point is 00:05:41 Not saying Kanye is not the most talented hip-hop musician we've ever seen as far as a producer and artists combined, because we all know, I think the best rapper currently, and maybe of all time, this is a real discussion at this point, is Kendrick Lamar. I think the greatest artist, the greatest rap artist, of all time is Kanye West as far as having a music producer mind and also being able to deliver on the artist side of things because usually people have a Dr. Dre or a Jay Z like Raj usually it's not combined right and that's essentially Kanye West which is why he's unanimously called the most talented musician and rap and maybe just music period so anyways and which is why a lot of people put up with this stuff I mean you give some somebody graduation um there's so many different albums from conya it's it's kind of hard to go through all of them but you get people graduation which is arguably the greatest hip hop trilogy of all time and then you follow it up with um you know the pg podcast but the collab album with j z right and then you
Starting point is 00:06:46 have other albums like aidaway's and heartbreak the life of Pablo danda i think danda is one of his greatest albums of all time i know that may be a hot take but danda is phenomenal anyways um so i obviously i have praise for conier that is why it's why it's It's very saddening that he's taking this pathway as far as using AI for half his vocals, as far as saying the most blasphemous things that's coming to his mind to garner attention because to bring this back full circle. I think the heights of him as an independent act was Voltures 1. I think that was the prime independent Kanye.
Starting point is 00:07:21 And now, statistically speaking, as far as the charts are considered, I don't think Kanye West could ever replicate what he did on. their charts with voters won and i think he knows that which is why he's up he's upping the ante on all this anti-semitic rhetoric and just offensive rhetoric that we're not going to get into because it's that offensive i mean what he said about j z and biances kids yeah we're just going to leave it at that so anyways um with that been said click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about conier was putting out an album bully with half of the vocals being AI that's probably out on YouTube or SoundCloud something like that and at the end of day
Starting point is 00:08:03 what is your biggest takeaway from this Kanye West debacle
