Getting into Karen Ajula for the first time in notorious mass effect history,
safe to say that this man, pun intended, has been making a notorious mass effect.
Shepard.
All right, my fault.
Pun intended.
That's already said that.
So anyways, when it comes to that, Karen Adjula is doing phenomenal on the charts currently
as not only is he the most streamed Punjabi artists globally,
but also he won the Apple Music Award.
for up next artists and then you come to realize that he has appeared not once not twice not three
four five but seven times on the global youtube charts which gives me into my next point how
karen a jeweler his track for a reason is currently the 27th most played music video in the world
so when it comes to that the main thing that you need to know is that karen a jeweler has been around
for quite some time, putting in that pain, putting in that work.
So if you wanted to know what he was about, musically, he's an Indo-Canadian singer,
rapper, and lyricist.
And before you say, hold up now, what's you rapping about?
Well, ladies and gentlemen, let me just be the first to tell you.
I personally have no idea.
You guys.
See, that's the problem.
But when listening to his music, safe to say, he's one of the few artists.
And at some point, I'm going to go through my fresh fire playlist, which is in my link tree and my bio, shameless plug, and show y'all all the different out of my usual genre music that I listen to on the daily because he has a plethora tracks that I just put on there because of course I listen to these artists before I cover them because of me wanting to get a personal, to hear a personal snapshot of what he gives out sonically.
And even though I don't understand it,
Boyfriend by Karen Adjula is straight heat.
Symmetry by Ed Shearing in Karen Adjula is straight heat.
And let's just say there's a bunch of artists outside of the hip hop and R&B realm
that's scattered throughout my Fresh Fire playlist.
So there's no cap in my rap.
When I listen to this music and these artists, before I review them,
not all of it makes it to my playlist.
just going to be eight more than 92 but for this particular artist here's bop the sonics the structure of
the track is sonically pleasing to the point it ended up on my fresh fired playlist and i would go as
far to say you should definitely listen to his album that just came out which is titled p pop culture
because if you don't know of course that's punjabi and when it comes to that the main thing you need
to know about the Punjabi pop hip hop fusion is that he's one of the biggest not even one of the biggest
he is currently the biggest artist as far as his single in the punjabi lane as 60% of his streams
comes from india slash pakistan 25% comes from canada and then you come to realize not only is he
making a notorious mass effect but he's also under warning
music Canada slash Warner Music India so now you come to realize he has a machine behind him and of course
they probably already recognized the authentic indie wave that he had bubbling up to the scene
but now of course with a major label behind him he was able to give more eyes on his album P-pop culture
which ultimately led up into for a reason off of that album becoming the 27th most played music video
globally. So now when you look at what Karen Ajula has to say about the album, he came out and made
statements such as quote, P-pop culture is not just an album. It's a cultural revolution inviting
the world to feel Punjabi vibrancy. And then, you know what I'm saying? I was like,
and then Mohit Mijlani, hopefully I said that right, the team innovation.
said, quote, we're crafting a next level visual and production experience.
And of course, James Craven from Live Nation Middle East said,
said, quote, starting the tour in Abu Dhabi,
cements the region's place as a global stage for music.
So, we're all that in mind.
The main thing you need to know is definitely keep in mind as far as the name Karen,
a jula because not only ed shuren already spotted it as far as getting him on his symmetry track but also
one public which is a pop rock type of artist um they had a jula also on the track tell me which came out in
february so ed shuren's track symmetry that has karen a jula on it just came out this month so a lot of
people are starting to flock towards karen and jula and realize that not only is you wanted to
biggest artist as far as putting out Punjabi music but I'm telling you the structure and sonically
it mixes more with pop and hip hop than you would ultimately think at the beginning before listening
to it once you listen to his music you come to realize why I'm giving him so much praise as far as me
personally liking it even though I'm mostly listening to hip hop and R&B I think a lot of the structure
and the patterns and melodies is what's being used in today's hip hop and R&B but of course it's
in English. So with the P-pop being more of a Punjabi renovation as far as him sonic,
well, no, him putting his own cultural spin on it. It's still a historic moment. Not only for
the Punjabi artists out there that are looking up to Karen Ajula, but also don't forget
that he's had not only a record setting album rollout, but of course in historic world
tour launch as far as Abu Dhabi so he's been putting the work in and now I think people
are starting to get acclimated with just how big Karen Adjula's movement is in the music landscape
so when it comes to that click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think
about Karen a jeweler's track for a reason being the 27th most play track uh 27th most watched music video
in the world and of course will you be giving his album peepop co-pop
A listen.
