Now over here at the notorious mass effect getting into Carol G and showcasing how I've covered her several times.
And that's an understatement.
As I first started covering Carol G January 22nd of 2023 with her track with Avi on the drums,
who I also talked about in this new music episode as far as their particular track when that came out January 22nd as far as Cairo, Carol.
that's besides a point
2025
Carol G is back once again
and not only is she back
she has a Netflix documentary
titled
Manana
Fui Bonito
Now I don't know what that means
So if that's something provocative
I plead the fifth
Because I don't know the language
angle kept to you
So with that being said
It's set to come out
Well it was already out
It came out yesterday
As far as May 8th, 2025
is currently streaming on Netflix and the director was Christina Costantini.
Christina Costantini had a, that was a tongue twister for a second.
The film is nearly two hours and showcases Carol G's global superstardom as there's also a particular track that's attached to this documentary that is Malagra.
And with that specific track, that came out May 8th as long, also with the Netflix documentary.
So when you're getting into the overall documentary of Carol G is highlighting a lot of her personal challenges,
including her split, her public split from Annuell and her current relationship with feed.
Also showcases a lot of behind-the-scenes moments as far as her World Stadium Tour.
just in case y'all may have got a twisted as far as who caro g is and how she impacts the masses just know her world stadium tour so uh by herself mind you and it explores carroll's journey as a latina woman breaking into a male dominated reggaeton tone industry now she's definitely on the nose with that one as as far as nathan vega as far as bad bunny um a lot of other artists who i've covered in the
Latin field when it comes to Paiso Pluma and just particular artists who are of the male variety is frequent as far as what you see on the charts.
So for Carol G to come into this space and dominate like she has been and like she is, just showcases why she deserves a documentary in itself.
Because if that wasn't enough for you, just know that she had the first Spanish language out.
album ever by a woman to top the Billboard 200 with her album Manana Sarah Bonito, which is what
the documentary is self-titled after. And of course, I covered that as well and I covered that
extensively as far as particular tracks off of that album to the point where I almost covered the
entire album, but it was like most of the majority of the album. But anyways, getting back into
her significant accomplishments, Carol G also was the first woman ever.
to win the Grammy for Best Musica Urbana album.
She also had the biggest stadium tour by a Latina artist in history,
and she was the first Latin, she was the first Latina to headline a stadium world tour.
But then, you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip-hop. Like, what's going on?
So essentially, I say all this to make my gamer joke. If Carol G does not make it a
appearance in some sort of way as far as being the friend or the friend who got away or the
evil arch nemesis to Lucia and GTA 6 just know it was a missed opportunity.
But then you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn look at the state of hip hop like what's going on?
So all jokes aside being the most popular Latina to ever make music is no easy feat
and which is why she's getting a whole entire documentary along with the new singles.
title, Milagros. And when it comes to Carol G just reflecting on these phenomenal accomplishment
throughout her career, she said, quote, I feel in the bottom of my heart that my life has a new
beginning. She also went on to say on the view, please be you when giving advice to women
chasing dreams, which is a phenomenal sentiment as far as what to go by and what you want to do
in life. You have to be you to stand out because guess what?
may seem cliche but there's only one you there's only one human on this earth that sees which you
see day and day out when you go to sleep when you wake up so self self reflection is a real thing
and combining that with manifesting and also being yourself is something that will set you apart
as far as if you wanted to and captivate the masses or if you want to go any other route as far as
where you're passion lies.
So anyways,
that's great advice
and definitely a gym
from Carol G
as far as her advice
for women chasing dreams
to be themselves.
So she also grew up
wondering if she had
to change herself
to succeed
as far as what we all go through
as a minority
with the obstacles
stacked upon
obstacles
as far as you trying to succeed
in certain fields
as a minority
definitely can relate
to that and how she fully embraced her identity later down in her life and she credits her father
and Selena Quintalia Quintanila I think that's how you say it. So she credits her father
and Selena Quintanilla influenced by the 1997 biopic starring Jennifer Lopez. So if you don't know,
the people who filmed this documentary is mostly women and of course i already talked about
the director as far as christina costanina uh i definitely messed it up uh christina constantini and then
there's a female camera person and then it's all female producers and caro g as a response to that
said quote we didn't even ask for that but everything ended up that way now i ain't going to lie
I'm going to have to call cap on that.
You know, if you end up with an all-woman team,
I don't think that's just a coincidence.
And there's no,
it's no reason for you to act like it was a coincidence, right?
Just come out and say,
I just wanted an all-woman team.
I mean, who's going to come out and be up in arms about that in 2025?
Right.
So I think her saying that it ended up being that way is definitely cap.
But, you know, it's Carol G.
So we just don't let her live.
So with that being said,
there's a lot of things.
that goes on in the documentary is very emotional. I wanted to cover this documentary because,
of course, I cover music and there was music attached to this documentary release title Milagra.
So definitely click my link to my bio. Let me know on one of my social medias. Are you going to
see the film that's now, the documentary that's now streaming on Netflix in regards to Carol G?
And now are you also going to check out her single attached to the documentary that's on DSPs that's out
now.
