So Carol G has returned with her new single Cairo,
Cairo, whichever, tomato tomato, which features Avey, OVEE on the drums.
So Avey on the drums is obviously, I don't even like, what type of name is that?
But anyways, you know, I'm just saying to each his own.
And in this new song, the multi-platinum singer, of course,
the songwriter presents a unique and experimental type sound.
because if you never listen to Carol G before, you never know you're going to get.
Like, obviously she gives you certain type of music that's more in her realm.
At the end of the day, you never know what she's going to actually come with because what she's singing slash just crooning about.
Because, I mean, I don't think Carol G is the best singer in the industry, but she's definitely palatable for most people when it comes to singers, you know?
She's definitely not bad.
So when you're getting into the way that she creates music, it's really of a,
reflection of Carol G and it continues with the reflection of in the music video.
So of course, you see Carol G in the music video.
And guess what they are?
I mean, I've never seen a more rich flex in my life since I listened to Middle
the Ocean by the goat on the Her Lost album.
Because literally this whole music video was filmed in Cairo, Egypt, which is why the song
is titled Cairo.
now obviously i've never been to egypt i've never even thought about going to egypt and even pronouncing
the name makes me feel broke because i'm like bro am i even pronouncing it right so you know it's on
that type of level where of course you're letting everybody know that you're on a different level
artistically and visually as the music video accompanied with the actual track is actually fitting the
title you know how some people okay now we got to get into it now we don't ran into a great topic
Well, you know how many rappers and singers talk about they in, uh, what, what, Dubai and they be in like, which no offense because, you know, everybody, you know, grows up differently with different type of benefits and stuff.
You see the disclaimer I got to give in 2022, but that's just saying, Dubai, there's places that's not so well kept than like majority of the other Dubai.
like Dubai is usually like really kept up and nice
But it's parts that's not right
Let's say you go to Dubai and you film in the area
That's not as kept up
And somebody goes to the like the most richest part of Dubai
And takes a video
It's gonna be a little different
As far as the quality of music videos right
It's basically what Carol G did
She went to Cairo Egypt
And the part where you literally are standing
I mean she might as well just climb the pyramid
And then started the video
I mean, if this is not a rich flex, then I don't know what he is, because I'm looking at this video like, bro, I never even thought once to visit Egypt, let alone just staying so close to the pyramids that I might even just start walking up the pyramid.
Forget looking at it, you know?
So obviously Carol G is no stranger to the Billboard Top 100 as the Billboard's Latin Airplay chart for the number one spot was reached by, you guessed it.
Carol G.
For the 14th time when Provenza rose from number four to the top on the July 9th
dated list.
So she's holding the number two spot right now with Mommy with Becky G. Carol,
remember, this is Billboard's Latin charts.
So as far as U.S., I will have to look at it.
But as far as, actually, let's look at it right now.
Let's see what this track is doing on the worldwide charts
Because that's I mean I want to be disrespectful
But people really only care about the US charts ain't go a lot to you
Like these Latin charts and stuff like that global tries like
All right let's see where's the name man um
Okay Carol G Carol G let's see top
I'm looking at top albums I'm tripping top songs
You have Drake Taylor Swift Steve Lacey okay Sam
Smith. Oh my goodness, Taylor Swift is taking up a lot of these.
Drake's also taking up a lot of these.
I don't see Carol G. That's unfortunate.
Bad Bunny. Mariah Carey.
But Mariah Carey is a Chico. She has,
all I want for Christmas is U-Trents every year, which, I mean,
deservedly so. That stuff is fire. Classic.
I don't see Carol G. So she's not trending in top 50.
What about global?
I wonder if you can trend in the global, but not U.S.
That wouldn't make sense, right?
That wouldn't make sense.
I don't know, maybe that would make sense.
I mean, Rosalina is up here.
I didn't see her in the U.S. one.
Let me see, yeah, no wonder they're using Latin stats.
So yeah, as far as U.S. and global, I'm not seeing Mommy or Provenza in there at all.
So that's unfortunate.
But obviously in an interview, Carol G shared that Pichata.
Is that a cuss word?
I don't even know, bro.
is um i don't speak spanish i don't know if that's a cussar or not it serves as a moment of feeling
sexy flirtatious darling strong empowered and to a certain extent okay uh we are all super but
bachatas inside but it has to be a cuss word okay now i got to look this up bro i'm sorry for
being ignorant for my spanish speakers or if it's not spanish i don't know bro i got to look this up
i ain't going to lie to you english definition he ain't fin to have me cussing
on here. You know, no language.
Watch it be like, you know what I mean? Some crazy
exhaliv. He's going to be like, yeah, you said,
beep, you know, it's just going to be a whole different.
Hold on. Do I have the beep on here?
I don't think so. I have the soundboard
with the beep.
I do have it. It's going to, it's going to,
it's going to be like, yeah, you just looked up a bunch of
that's all that's all I was going to do the whole time.
Oh my goodness. That is a cuss word.
Hey, bro, I ain't going to lie to you. I'm keeping.
be not in there because this is a PG podcast. I don't know I don't speak I don't speak Spanish
Hey blame Carol G for teaching us bad words in Spanish man blame Carol G
I ain't gonna lie to you ever met that one person who of course you know, you know, I'm
me, a little little different language that you spoke and was trying to teach you, you know what
me on some mentors type stuff you know what I'm saying? And it was really just a thing to get to
nowhere and I'm saying and you try to learn the language you know what I'm saying you're learning
some phrases and everything and then they slipped something in there but yeah
just say that.
And then you say it and you're like,
you know there's a cuss word right.
And you need to be like,
of course you had me say it.
You know,
of course you had me learn a cuss word
and tell me what it mean after I say it.
Like I didn't say it.
You know what for that other track.
Like so many times.
And now it's a cuss word.
So I'm going to spend the rest of this segment
talking about how she didn't put a disclaimer
that that's a cuss word.
Like she just going to act like it's a moment.
Like she said, quote,
the word, not even going to say it.
The word is a moment of feeling sexy,
flirtatious, daring,
strong, empowered, and to a certain extent.
Let me tell you something.
Hold on.
Give me a second.
Give me a second.
Let me look at this.
They got me.
That's just, that's honestly ridiculous.
That is disrespectful.
All right.
That is, that is cap, cap, cap, cap, cap.
That is one cap, two cap, three caps.
How many caps can you put on your head to it falls over?
That's just an astronomical amount of cap.
And just tell us this is a cussword.
like we ain't gonna kill you we're not gonna crucify you I just want to know what I'm getting into if I'm reading the title of a track that's in another language I would like to know beforehand if it's a cuss word and is that too much to ask for as an American reviewer of music you know now I'm on the tangent because I'm upset because whatever that word is is offensive to a lot of different genders because you know you never want to assume how somebody identifies and how they get offended to the identity
identification but um let's just say if i use that word thinking i was being nice to a group of women
and then i get the dog you know what beat out of me because they like bro what did you just call us you
know what i'm saying and obviously for them it would probably be a compliment because i mean i looked
it up and it was like it was bad you know what but still i'm not trying to look so i'm up
and get in a altercation with people that i can't defend myself with because of course that's a
that's a whole charge in itself so anyways let's get off of that
Carol G, besides all jokes aside, is putting, has a new track called Carol out, which is just roaming around Egypt,
letting everybody know that she's richer than anybody you can ever think of, because she's literally climbing up to pyramids where you can't even get close enough to take a picture.
So, yeah, man, the music video is, it was produced by Pedro, directed by We Own the City, and written by Carol G.
teen,
Kiteen in
featuring OV on the
drum. So hopefully OV told her
that her not letting
American music viewers
know that
certain Spanish words
is
is explicit
explicit. No, no, explicit.
Shame on her, man. Shame on you for not
telling me that.
So anyways, click my link to your bio. Let me know
