Episode Date: February 3, 2023KAROL G KNOWS a thing or two about breakups. And Romeo Santos is the go-to on making things get pretty sexy. On Thursday, the Colombian star released “X Si Volvemos,” the first single off he...r recently announced album. The song follows Karol and the bachata legend wondering what would happen if they returned with an ex.“Let’s do it one last time, baby/Perhaps not in love but in bed we understand each other,” she sings in Spanish on the chorus. “It’s a porno, I love how we do it/I won’t erase your contact and I’ll be in touch in case we get back together.”Karol had already recorded the Ovy on the Drums-produced song before she welcomed Santos for a welcome verse.source: Karol G, Romeo Santos Release ‘X Si Volvemos,’ Listen – Rolling StonePrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

If you take a look at your screens, there's a reason why, for my YouTube and Twitch viewers, the RPM versus BPM definition is up there.
Because in general, I think most people get it confused when we start getting into these other genres and music for Carol G and Romeo Santos and this track called XC.
Vovimos.
I don't know.
I don't speak Spanish.
I think it's Spanish.
I don't know.
I'm not trying to.
You know what I'm saying?
I put it most.
I think it's Spanish.
But basically, Carol G has a certain BPM that she uses a lot.
And I don't even think it's her.
I think it's probably her producer.
And I think in general, it's more of like a, it's a way to encapsivate the masses.
Because there's a certain BPM that's for most of the hits that blow up.
And it's because people don't want to hear too much slow down music.
And people don't want to hear too fast in music.
Like if the music is too fast or the music.
music is too slow. They don't like it. There's a certain BPM range that pop singles operate on.
And for Carol G is definitely no different. So that's why I have this up here because some people
may be like, what are you talking about, RPM, BPM? You have the definition right here.
You know what I mean? I try to make it easy. For the people who can't go to my YouTube or Twitch
and view the whole thing, let me read it to you for the audio listeners. Beats per minute is BPM.
and it's a measure of tempo and music and revolutions per minute and RPM is revolutions per minute
and cycling cadence or pedaling rate is a number of revolutions of the crank per minute.
So RPM, I feel like personally, is very more complex and harder to understand than BPM.
Bs per minute is easier to understand, in my opinion, than revolutions per minute.
But when we get into Carol G, the way that these other genres operate is that if they don't understand the language, the least we can do is match the BPM of some of the highest or hottest songs in the country and basically make it sound like a pop song sonically.
Because something that you don't understand lyrically can still sound good to you if it sounds sonically pleasing.
Hopefully that makes sense.
Sonically, it's like if audio is being played and is soothing to your ears.
I don't know how else to explain it.
But for the most part, because that's not the definition of sonically.
I'm just giving you the definition of or the explanation of how I'm using sonically.
So if something is pleasing to your ears.
So when Carol G has this massive fan base and she drops this track that I can't even pronounce
because the name is in another language, but it's X.C. Vemos.
I don't know what that means.
I don't even know if I'm cussing right now.
It's a PG podcast, but I don't know other languages.
So if they get me like that, they got me.
But for the most part, Carol G.
There's one thing that she's going to do is make songs about breakup and make them sound
like it's just the greatest thing since Slice Bread.
And she's back to do that again with this track.
Of course, it has Romeo Santos on it again.
I keep saying his name, but guess what?
I don't know what this man does in his, I'm not going to say free time because that's
kind of weird but as far as a musician i don't know what he does all i know is he's on this track
with carol g i've reviewed this because of carol g because she's just you know for lack of better
words she is one of the hottest artists in the game i'm talking about statistically of course
you know what i mean got to when you're talking about women artists you know i mean it can't just
all be be about looks you know i'm saying anyways if you see this right here this is carol g in what
she looks like if you case you want to for my youtube and uh twitch viewers but um ahead of the video
ahead of the songs release
Carol G posted a video of herself
linked lip syncing
the track's lyrics with the caption
Are You Coming with some naughty emojis?
So yeah, do of that what you will.
You know what I'm saying?
If you've ever seen Carol G
you'll know that some men will be
definitely tempted
by the words and the promotion that she used
for this track.
