So why in the world will anybody bring that up? Well, I guess we'll never know. I know that ain't who I think it is. Now, when it comes to Katie Perry, the main thing I was wanting to get into was her announcement for her single titled Band-Ais.

because of course, when you look at the single announcement and then you come to realize she hasn't put out any music. I mean, not a single, not a feature, nothing since 2024. You come to think to yourself, well, why is that the current scenario that we're in? Why has Katie Perry not released any music? Hasn't given any type of musical offering in 2025. Well, I'm glad you asked. When it comes to 143, which I don't know if it's 143, I don't know if it's 143.

I don't know how they pronounce it as far as the DePerry lights or whatever she calls a fan base. When the album came out September 20 or 2024, safe to say, the masses came together and they basically, that's not it. You guys. See, that's the problem. They basically came together and they was like, get this stuff off the airwaves. That stuff is trash. They didn't say that verbatim. But it was interestingly timed as far as right after that.

I'm not going to say right after. you know, it was a huge breakup with her nine-year relationship. And it was engaged, too. And so they called that off, right? So even after that, you came to realize that, hold on now, is the more beneath the surface? And then we came to realize late October of that same year, Katie Perry was pictured with Justin Trudeo.

I don't even know I say the name. I ain't kept to you. but uh katy perry was holding hands with former canadian prime minister i'll drop a bomb for that one hey she knew how to get orlando bloom back in the pettiest way possible let me just get with the prime minister so anyways she got with the prime minister attended the crazy horse cabaret whatever that is and so when it comes to katy perry and the uh canadian prime minister justin trudeo or whatever his name is i don't know this i kid you not i don't know i'll not to pronounce that but now switching gears into her tour because of course you already know as i call

myself a hall of fame pocket watcher and safe to same safe to say kate perry had a phenomenal tour as far as this particular year now how phenomenal was it you may ask well i'm glad you did as when it comes to katie perry's tour basically supporting her album that flopped when it came to critical acclaim right nobody was messing with the music but of course if you guys going to see Katie Perry tour she probably already knows you don't like the album so she's probably going to perform her classics and safe to say she did uh just that as she had a phenomenal tour a lot of people showed up and of course when it comes to selling out millions of tickets uh worldwide primarily north america australia in uh mexico it grossed more than 80 million dollars

drop another ball for that one so one could say this is a distraction because of the relationship as far as her abrupt relationship ending with Orlando Bloom but some could say that because of people coming out and watching her live and basically the amount of money that she made she should probably put out more music to capitalize off of the new fans that she garnered throughout her touring experience. So when you look at it, I don't think the prices were too crazy. I mean, 50 to 150 is not the craziest price range, I think, to watch somebody live. I don't know, you know, especially with Katie Perry, it's not like she doesn't have hits. Like, even though people didn't enjoy her last album, she could still go back in the vault and give you tracks that was some of the biggest

tracks in the world at one point, right? So, because looking at the charts currently, Katie Perry's on it so when you look at katy perry in the year of 2025 she's probably putting out a lot of a lot of performances with classic older material versus any music that came out in the past two to three years so that's the main thing i was going to get into i've never covered katy perry so that was interesting as far as seeing this come across my uh seeing this come across my desk as far as this actually making waves because when you don't put out music for quite some time, it does really build up the anticipation. You just can't have four to five year hiatuses like, you know, side seven be doing. Anyways, um, Katie Perry took a break as far as this particular year,

but she is finally back looking to have a strong 2026 after not putting out, you know, um, a high quality album according to her fan base, because I haven't heard it, but according to the message from her fan base. They weren't, they wasn't really messing with the 143 album. So even though it did debut number six on Billboard, I don't know actually what it sold first week, but let's just say when it came to subjective metrics, her fans was really not messing with the album.

So hopefully this is a bounce back and then return to form for Katie Perry as her track Band-Aids comes out November 4th of this, no, no, no, it comes out November 6th of this year.
