Starting point is 00:00:00 Talk about the voice of the youth because I've heard so much about Ken Carson. Obviously, I haven't listened to too much of his music, but with him releasing an album titled A Great Chaos Out Now on All DSPs, I'm very interested to see and hear the reception from not only his fans, but the overall public perception of hip-hop. Because Uzi has been hyping up people like Ken Carson Destroy Lonely for quite some time. time now. So with that being said, Ken Carson, previous album, was X, I believe. And then he had a deluxe that I think it was like extended, something like that. Let me see if I could find it. He had X and he had extended. So I believe that was a deluxe album. But anyways, that's besides the point because all those albums was independent. Actually, no, that was in the scope.
Starting point is 00:00:57 I'm tripping. One of his albums is independent, right? Oh yeah. Project X in 2021 was independent. and then X in 2022 was under endoscope. And now with his latest album, he's still on the endoscope. So for his past two albums, he's been under Interscope. But that being said, promotion is going to be heightened because, of course, now you have a major label budget. But that's not the thing I'm focusing on. Some of the things that King Carson has been doing
Starting point is 00:01:22 to impact the hip-hop giants, which Lil Uzi Ver, whether you want to call him a giant or not, statistically he is a giant in this game, for him to be co-signing King Carson the way he did, It's very interesting, and we'll see if it pays off. I don't see Uzi on this album, I believe. I'm tripping. Uzi is on like this with Destroy Lonely.
Starting point is 00:01:45 Hey, that's funny. So he only has Destroy Lonely on here. Well, he has two features. Uzi and Destroy Lonely. But with Destroy Lonely, he has him on this album like three times. So it's very interesting. I'm always wondering what is the play on Little Uzi Ver to be, co-siding these artists so heavily.
Starting point is 00:02:06 Is he going to get to the point where he signs these artists under his new major label? I don't know why he co-signs him so hard. Obviously, I'm going to listen to the album and maybe that'll tell me why. But, you know, he's received so much attention. And I'm just going over everything as far as, like, King Carson. I'm not like hating on him. I'm just talking about like his overall rise to fame. He's received attention from Complex, Pitchfork, Hip-Hop DX, debuted on the Billboard 200.
Starting point is 00:02:33 so he's been putting up numbers right he's not just talked about he's not performing obviously he's been performing independently and now that he's on the endoscope he's obviously going to perform more so i think with his performances like his festivals and uh or him performing a major festivals like minaro uh i don't even know if i said that right uh rolling loud lalapalooza and a lot of fans gravitating to his performance in a way that he uh encapsivates the audience that's what's led to anticipation for this album so with that being said i'm just going to wait and see because if you're going on tour with people like play recording and you're making waves as far as inspiration to a little uzivert that obviously your own music has to be special that's what i'm thinking obviously sometimes
Starting point is 00:03:25 it's not the case you have artists around solely to push you for your music it's like the NBA having a fantastic practice squad like every day you're going to be able to get pushed by somebody who's nice i'm thinking that's the same lane that ken carson is the little uzivert but maybe it's vice versa or not vice versa maybe they're getting around the same level and i'm just not noticing the rise so obviously right now i'm just out of the loop i don't know too much about ken carson i just wanted to cover the overall album because i wanted to let y'all know the album a great Chaos is now out on all DSPs. And this album, I think, will be very interesting and watch for the foreseeable future.
Starting point is 00:04:14 So click my link, sure you in my bio. Let me know in one of my social media is. What do you think about Ken Carson as an artist in his standing in the hip-hop industry? And for his album, A Great Chaos, will you be giving it a listen?
