Starting point is 00:00:04 Now, even though I've already gotten into this musician as far as his particular album, more chaos and talking about how not only is the album and captivating a lot of fans, but more specifically, I think the Playboy Cardi Hive and the wave of engaging in that type of music and the way they construct the whole entire projects is being more, is people are more receptive to giving it a listen, right? I think what Playboy Cardi did with music, the album, and selling the way he did made other people realize that it is okay to come out and say that you actually like a particular artist, even though we can't understand what they're saying. You know, at the end of the day, I always thought other genres was being funny when they kept saying, when is the English version coming out? But when it comes to Playboy Cardi, when it comes to Ken Carson, but then you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:01:01 I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? So technically, the state of hip hop is one of the best, not one of, the best performing hip hop album currently is the inaudible music. We don't know what they're saying. But somehow it's still one of the most successful albums and tracks of 2025. But when it comes to King Carson, he is also competing for that number one spot as with his, album more chaos it is projected to sell around 67,000 first week units now of course these are the
Starting point is 00:01:39 projections it hasn't been official we've seen as my coverage of navarash aka nav and i actually like nav as far as the way he makes music you know it's very a hot it's a hot take because not a lot of people take kindly to nav's music because they don't think it's any good but i actually enjoy the way that NAV puts choruses together and especially the UNI track. I like that one off of the album the most. So when it comes to NAF, he was projected to sell around 80 plus thousand. Now guess what NAV ended up doing officially first week? So he went from 80 plus thousand as far as projections, right?
Starting point is 00:02:20 Into him selling 19,000 first week. Now ladies and gentlemen, he was initially projected to sell 82. thousand but ended up not making it inside the top 10 selling less than 40,000 come to find out he sold 19,000 first week but then you know what I'm saying I was like 10 look at the state of hip hop like what's going on now how could this even be possible if like how can that discreferencey even be possible projected to sell 80 plus end up selling 19,000 well I'm glad you asked when it comes to SEA which is streams and when it comes to actual purchases it was a very interesting interesting number. Now I'm not going to call. I'm not going to pull the Aubrey Graham and say that Navaraj was botting. All I'm going to say is the physical copies were not counted by billboard and there's certain rules in place to check the authenticity and of those purchases and then give you the real number. So that's all I'm going to say. I'm just going to say that he went through for lack of a better term. This man,
Starting point is 00:03:30 went through TSA in the music industry and went from 80,000 to 19,000 overnight. So when I'm talking about Ken Carson, I'm not trying to hate on him. I'm just going off a previous knowledge as far as in the hip-hop field. And I'm just going to say, let's wait into the actual first week numbers are officially confirmed by Billboard to see if he sold around 60,000, 67,000 first week, right? Because he's projected to do that, which will put him at number one, as far as having the biggest album in the world so that should show you something nav was projected to have the biggest album in the world ended up selling 19 000 i'm not saying k k kairns is going to go through the same thing all i'm saying it's very interesting how certain smoking mirrors are played behind the scenes and billboard is now
Starting point is 00:04:15 starting to step on it saying no more false falsifying your numbers we are checking the authenticity of these physical copies and the bundles as you've seen they put out this new rule which a lot of people are under taylor swift rule where if you put out a track vinyl if you put out a vinyl you know simply it's only so many variations you could put out of that vinyl and count it towards your album sales which is something that taylor swiss was doing a lot as far as putting out the pink version the blue version the black version the white version um the travis kelsey version uh you know you get what saying right so when it comes to that a lot of people is buying these different vinals and it's being counted towards album sales they're stopping that so people is calling that the taylor swift rule
Starting point is 00:05:08 and interestingly enough when you go to the charts taylor swift is the lowest she's ever been as the torture post department is still the 17th most play album in the world but usually taylor swift falls in line with the top five the top ten consistently so very interesting rule that ended up hurting Taylor Swift as far as the trajectory of top albums in the world. So when it comes to Kent Carson, I'm just breaking all this music industry talk down to let you know that these projected numbers are phenomenal. 67,000 first week that he's projected to do is phenomenal,
Starting point is 00:05:39 but we have to see what happens when the official billboard confirmation comes out. So with that being said, a lot of tracks have came out in the aftermath of this album as Live Lee came out. um it was this there was another track that came out so live league came out and let me see if it's on the album now i don't know if it was like the deluxe edition you know these artists love to put out deluxe editions a live leak yeah okay so live leak is out on his album so he must have put out a deluxe edition because i know that wasn't on the original album so if you want to listen to the album just know it's out now
Starting point is 00:06:22 on all DSPs is a total runtime of an hour and one minute. It is 22 tracks. And of course, Ken Carson is under opium slash interscope. So of course, opium is with Playboy Cardi. So I think he would definitely have that wave of Playboy Cardi fans wanting to check out King Carson
Starting point is 00:06:40 because Playboy always bigs up Ken Carson and destroy him lonely and deservedly so. But a lot of people are going to check out Ken Carson's album simply because of the love for Playboy Cardi. but at the end of the day we'll have to go through billboard to see if those numbers as far as 67 first week sales or 67,000 first week sales is legit so with that being said click my link to you in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about can karsson's album more chaos that's out now on all dsps and do you think that can karen can karsen will end up having the most played album in the world when all things are confirmed by billboard
