Starting point is 00:00:04 I mean, honestly, we got the same 20-fo. What you mad foe? I put a square on this back like I'm Jack Dorsey. It's high beams if I make a public appearance. Go back to Haida because I'm not too friendly with. And this is a PG podcast and that's what we're going to stop it. But anyways, getting into track 5 of Kendrick Lamar's GNX album, this is bringing up the tempo a little bit more than,
Starting point is 00:00:34 the man at the garden because of course that's more of the it's probably the most introspective track off of the album man at the garden by far the most introspective track from a lyrical standpoint hey now is i think it probably will end up having the most bars attributed towards drake as far as you know i just strangled me to a goat uh as far as you know the last one figured he was magnito you play god you're gonna get what you asked for we got the same 24 which you mad for I put a square on his back like I'm Jack Dorsey. And he probably said like Jack Dorsey. But you know what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:01:11 So anyways, he did put a very huge target on Drake back as far as, you know, the PDF allegations, which they are in all intensive purposes allegations. But I love how he ended off this track. He basically said, was on this track. I think he said on this one. Oh, I was on this track. Okay. Anyways, I thought he said the greatest on time, greatest of all time. on this track but I think it was another one but anyways um this track is phenomenal I
Starting point is 00:01:43 love the way that he's continuing the boogie mantra as far as the boogey man character Kendrick Lamar is ultimately embodying being the boogeyman of the industry and it's interesting how he always says how people are going against him but who is going against them I mean he got the Super Bowl he has all these Grammy nominations I mean Kendrick opens his mouth it's about 10 Grammy nominations just pop up you know what I'm saying so I don't know who's going against them like honestly I have to figure that out I don't know if he's poking fun at future because of his comments because if you don't know future came out and basically backtrack as far as going at
Starting point is 00:02:22 drake saying that I should have been mad at Kendrick saying forget the big three it's just me because uh I think I'm in the big three right so why am I not mad why people are not asking like people don't care about my feelings on my own track like it's such a victim type mentality that came from future because of the fact that Kendrick said forget the big three it's just big me and future flipped that into why people aren't asking why he's upset so i don't know if Kendrick's talking about that but he's definitely talking about Drake when he says i just strangle me a goat which you know kudos to kendrick for knowing who the goat is you know what I'm probably used to strangling you know what I mean but it's whatever we're not going to touch on that
Starting point is 00:03:03 right now um that being said the album GNX is very interesting because for the simple fact that there's a lot of different tempos a lot of different ways that he's attacking these beats to the point where i'm not going to lie to you the album just came out so i'm going to give you some time because this is more of first reactions just telling you about the track as most of the catchy the themes that we are exploring is more of on a light a lighter note like we're not diving deep into anything because i'm going to wait a little bit to get into the actual sales or the album but right now we're just getting to the quality level and the wordplay is immaculate well i'll tell you kendrick when it comes to putting words together and the modern generation is top two and he's not
Starting point is 00:03:49 too like he's really topped here when it comes to talking about his opposition and making them seem like they just are inadequate to deal with whatever he has to throw at them verbally right so he embodied the boogeyman mantra and hey now is a great return to form because the first two tracks the first two tracks was more of this style as far as rapping with the ominous flow and getting into the horror side of the boogeyman mantra so i just love how he's continuing that with this track and also the feature on this uh dody six i don't know who that is let's just look it up Doty Six Rapper let me see All right
Starting point is 00:04:32 So Doty six His real name is not Disclosed in Public Records What type of Type of mysterious alias This man got going on This man is Spider-Man Nobody know his public name
Starting point is 00:04:47 Nobody know his real name Anyways He's all the affiliations pop though Yeah we're not going to talk about that Let's just say I'm glad that Kendrick is putting on these underground LA rappers. Let's just leave it at that.
Starting point is 00:05:01 So that being said, track five is phenomenal. Every track off of this album is phenomenal, but I wanted to go into specifically write a Y. And now, let's get into track six off of this album titled Reincarnated off of the album, of course,
Starting point is 00:05:17 G&X.
