You know how it is around here.
Oh, no, son, that's not the way it is.
You kids that did nothing but punks.
Sissified.
So quick to pick up a gun.
You're scared to take an ass weapon.
This one makes you a man.
When I was growing up, this was all the protection we needed.
You win some, you lose some.
But you live.
You live to fight another day.
You win some.
You lose some, but you indeed have to live to fight another day.
Because let me tell you something.
Kendrick Lamar dropped the pedified anthem music video on July 4th.
For us Americans, we all know that Independence Day,
colloquially known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States.
What does it commemorate?
Well, I'm glad you asked.
The ratification of the Declaration of Independence by the Second Continental Congress on July 4th, guess what year it was?
1776.
I just know they was letting the hard ER fly back then.
But this historic event established the United States of America as an independent
nation free from British rule.
The tradition of celebrating July 4th dates back to the 18th century in the American Revolution,
from fireworks and parades to family gatherings and barbecues.
It's a day when Americans come together to honor their country's birth.
of independence.
And what did
Kendrick Lamar
make of this day?
He
made a mockery
by dropping the pedophile
anthem.
Now all jokes aside, of course
the Not Like Us music video
just came out.
And let me tell you,
Kendrick Lamar is a straight-up
comedian. I mean
analytic dreams video on Spotify
to see the video along with the audio because I'm about to play it some right quick.
Obviously, I can't play the actual track because that's copyright material.
But let's actually play you.
Let's play one of the scenes that's referencing something when it comes to Drake, right?
So if you take a look with me right here, as you can see, Kendrick's doing push-ups.
What was the first disc track Drake put out?
kick off the beef push-ups, right?
But then you'll notice that the line goes on to say,
keep your daughter away from him or something like that.
Just make sure you keep your little sister from him.
And then you see he does this little hand movement right here.
What exactly could he be referring to with this little hand movement?
Well, I'm glad you asked.
Let's go to evidence number two.
this man
Drake has a whole
video and let's not
act like this is
beyond interesting
let's just leave it at that you know what I mean
yeah analytic
dreams video on Spotify to see the video along
with the audio version let's just say that
Kendrick is a madman
he definitely knows what he's
doing and
as far as my goat
just know that
you win some
you lose some
but more importantly
you have to live
to fight another day
and the reason I keep saying
have to live
is because if you don't know
the Rick Ross and Drake Beef
has reached scary
territory as far as
the dangerous zone
now if you don't know
Rick Ross played not like us
Anthem and Canada
and got the brakes beat off
of him as far as his entourage
he didn't specifically get the brakes
beat off of him but his entourage did
so now it was recorded and in retaliation who knows what would happen to drake that's why i'm
to leave it at if you want to hear me dive deeper into that just look up rick ross analytic
dreams and it should pop up but i gave a whole deep dive into that and the seriousness of that
situation so that makes this even though it is a pedify anthem by kensi glomara it makes it
seem not as serious because we haven't had any thing to the sort when it comes to violence between
a Drake and Kendrick camp. As far as Drake in the weekend, literally, and you can look this up,
Drake's house got shot at. Now, am I casting aspersions on the weekend in his camp for doing that?
Of course not. Let's just say the puppeteers of this beef is eerily another.
camp from Canada,
aka the weekend
and his
manager, which is Cash.
You wonder why
Drake said Cash blowing able bread
out here tricking. He's basically
talking about the weekend's manager
Cash blowing able's
bread, which is the weekend's real name.
They're from Canada.
Cash
from Exo
had his home
shot at right before, not
right before but you know a little bit before the drake situation this is all
googleable i don't even know if that's a word but it is today so it's googlable right look up cash
house shot at then look up drake's house shot at then you realize the seriousness of that
situation fast forward rick ross's plane loses uh has engine failure mid-flight
when going to i don't know where he was going but anyways uh uh
After he put out his disc track, champagne moments or whatever, like a week after,
his private jet had engine failure mid-flight while they was in the air.
Following up that event, Rick Ross was in Canada and not putting or setting aside the
blame when it comes to him, but he did receive the beats from, let's just say, Canada Drake fans.
after playing the Not Like Us pedophile anthem at his show to wrap up his set.
So with that being said, you realize the seriousness of Rick Ross versus Drake
and the seriousness of the weekend in his camp, which is in Canada,
and Drake, who's also from Canada, Ontario to be more specific,
is way more serious than Drake versus Kendrick.
So that is why when discussing Kendrick, I would have to say that my brother, you did it.
You won.
When it comes to being the mascot of the entourage, I mean the ultimate formation,
might as well call him Voltron as far as coming against Drake, you are the figurehead who is getting all of the praise.
Forget Metro, forget future, forget the weekend, forget ASEB Rocky, forget Rick Ross.
You are the figurehead for the person who's perceived to take out Drake because lyrically,
that is exactly what you did.
But behind the scenes, Drake has been dealing with so much that in all actuality,
that is why I keep referring to the clip I played at the beginning.
You win some, you lose some, but you have to live to fight another day.
All right, anyways, let's get into the Kendrick Lamar,
not like us music video, which is very, very poetic if I do say so myself.
There's a lot of different scenes that stands out.
One of them more than the others, which you're going to get to in a second.
But yeah, Kendrick Lamar performed in L.A. Englewood
and performed the pedophile anthem about six times at the part.
pop out concert and then also you know as far as this specific music video is concerned came out
after the fact after the concert and it was um released july fourth which is basically
independence day so with the fourth of july which is to celebrate independence being uh used to
highlight his pedophile anthem i thought it was a very uh interesting choice
as far as date and the visual jabs at drake cannot be a more blatant as Drake had a lot of imagery
throughout this track as far as the owl pinata as far as the real owl in the in the cage at the
end let me see if i can find it um let me see yeah so this right here so as you can tell
this is an owl in a cage now why in the world
this is significant because ladies and gentlemen Drake has a whole a label that he started in 2012 with
oliver and somebody else but basically their own label ovo October's very own and for the logo they used
the owl I don't know why they that's what they do so this was the symbolized Drake of course in
this OVO label uh and the owl was shown multiple times in the video this
another one when he was uh I think it was the I think was the Wop Wop ad live when he was
hitting the pinata as it says in the disclaimer no OV hoes were harmed during the making of
this video I'm glad they clarified it for me I would have got him mistaken you know what I'm
saying I would have thought that pinata was a real person anyways um Kensiglomar and his
fiancee which I'm gonna chill on a discourse with this right
because there's a heartfelt moment showing him and his fiance and you know it's just great you know
hanging out with kids things of that nature as far as how long she's been his fiance that really
doesn't matter right um yeah i just really want to focus on she really got dance moves i ain't
a lot to you like a little bit of rhythm was shown throughout this video like this was my favorite part of the
video because of course the whole family matters track which was uh
Drake basically calling Kendrick a woman beater, right?
And asking why there was so much distance between him and Whitney Alfred.
And they've been engaged for like, these are like Drake's words, it's not me saying.
Drake was saying on family matters.
I'm guessing this wedding ain't happening right because they've been engaged for about like a decade plus,
which, you know, that's probably just normal, right?
And Drake was just poking fun at the fact that he was in,
a penthouse or just an apartment by himself away from his kids and family only to find out
that Kendrick was purchasing like some 40-50 million dollar home um i don't know if it was in
l a it was somewhere so basically that's why he was in an apartment because he was purchasing something
humongous so drake was wrong with that one and as far as the whitney and the uh day free aspect
he was also wrong and incorrect in that statement so a lot of late uh a lot of lies was exposed
and literally let me see if I can turn on the captions
here we go
um
I think the captions are on let me see
yeah here we go
let's have a read along
the family matter
and the truth of the matter
it was God's plan
to show y'all the liar
so he has that
conveniently when him
and his fiancee Whitney Alfred
and his two kids are just having fun
dancing to the video and Whitney Alfred
is showing off the moves
you know it's definitely a
I ain't gonna lie.
She, I mean, she was going crazy.
I mean, the different dance moves that Whitney was showing off,
it was like, dang, like talk about a victory lap.
Like, this was it.
This was the one thing that I was focusing on as far as Drake having actual validity
in his disc tracks, and he definitely debunked it in this music video.
So to be honest, that was my favorite part of the music video.
It was, it was seemingly,
weird how distant it was. Even though it's not our
relationship, it's simply
public back and forth. So when somebody's showing something
in a public back and forth, you're going to wonder and inquire
into if that's actually reality. And seemingly,
but not seemingly, well, I guess still seemingly because, you know,
let's, yeah, I'm a chill on a discourse with him and his fiance, right?
um which you know they've been engaged for like multiple uh decades at this point but you know
it's okay um yeah the overall video is very uh very well made very professional um i've said multiple
times i'm a drake fan so you know i never hide my i'm not going to say affiliation because
affiliation sounds crazy but as far as this life and the amount of uh financial incentives it
comes with covering the goat it's uh it's pretty hefty you know what i'm saying and as far as
kindrick you know if i was adam silver as far as my platform and i made money off of the platform
running smoothly and there was a guy who was taking four to five year breaks every time he wanted
to perform and there was another guy who performed around the same level maybe not up to par like
this individual, but he was here and performing, putting up stats for me,
season after season, year after year consistently,
and I was able to build my brain off of that.
I think you would probably have allegiance to that individual as well.
It's like the LeBron-Kawah Leonard scenario.
Longevity versus somebody putting up a championship-like performance
and then going away for four to five years, right?
So that is why I always say careful who you champion in this hip hop game because one line I keep going back to keep referring back to is the line from Drake when he says if I left hip hop it would be a bunch of orphans but if I stayed in hip hop it would be a bunch of corpses which we see the only one that wouldn't be a corpse is Kendrick because as far as the rest of the rappers and family matters like nobody want to talk about the actual vitro or
he spewed towards the weekend, ASAP, Rick Ross, like he really has some bars going at them
to the point where you notice when Rick Ross comes out to speak about Drake on timeline, everybody's
on Drake's side.
So it's not like, which is unfair towards Drake, he just lost.
He just publicly lost against Kendrick.
Because against Rick Ross, against ASAP, against Metro.
I mean, everybody was screaming, shut up and make some drums to Metro.
Who's that champion?
You know?
So I don't think we was biased as far.
far as a public when it comes to the quality level of music being released i think kendrick just
flat out outwrapped and outmaneuvered drake in a game of chess kendrick literally had four to five
moves mapped out as far as what drake could have did and drake just seemingly got outplayed and
for now it would just have to be known that you lost but it's not a lot of you lost but it's
okay because you can live to fight another day now let's get into the video all right let's get
into my well already kind of got into my favorite things about the video but um marterosen he
randomly popped up apparently because he's from l.a because i was wondering like why is demart
of rosin getting so much shine in this video apparently demar's from l.a and that's why he says the whole uh
you didn't deserve him either i don't know if it's gonna show either um let's see and get his face
tied it like a Apollo. I'm glad
D. Rose came home. Y'all didn't deserve
him neither.
See, at first, I thought it was like a Derek
Rose play on words. I thought it was like
D. Rose. You didn't deserve,
you didn't deserve, I thought
it was something different. But anyways,
from Alondra down to
Central, better
not speak on Serena.
That's interesting.
So, I like the way he
delivered that line, too. From Alondra
down to Central, better not speak on Serena.
I think for anybody who's ever tried to rap, you realize the way that Kendrick pronunciates and uses his vocal inflection and breaks up certain syllables is very masterful.
And if you don't think so, you try to rap and see how that delivery comes out for yourself as far as this specific line.
From Alondra down to Central, but not speak on Serena.
Like the way he broke that down to fit the beat, I'm not going to lie.
It's the reason I keep calling the Kendrick the best modern day rapper ever.
ever like he's the best he's the best rapper of the modern era and i've always said that i mean in my top
five he's in number three i mean i have j z notorious b ig and i have kendrick so i don't know
how much praise i need to give him and that was even before the beef because if you know or notice
um i had a whole thing that i put together as far as like showcasing my favorite hip-hop artists
and my favorite gaming um creations and to be honest i mean
Drake and Kendrick is the only people up on my flag as far as like my favorite hip hop people from this era.
There's like Jay-Z on there, Little Wayne.
Actually, let me look at it.
Oh, actually, you can probably see right here.
So yeah, this banner that I always use and all my streams, just all of my content, I always use this banner, right?
You notice, Drake and, I mean, I guess you can kind of say Kanye's and, you know, as far as relevance, you know, Kanye went number one being independent.
So he's definitely still relevant.
in today's as far as like competing with the youngans or whatever but besides him
drake and kendrick is the only people on here as far as the modern era i mean you say i have
two pocket i have notorious b i have j z have little wayne not to say those people um well the people
still live you know rest of peace to the ones who've passed but not to say little wayne and jz
isn't um impactful in a modern era they're just not competing number wise when it comes to
the field, right?
When Jay-Z releases the album,
I'm not going to say it's not going to go number one,
but it's not going to be like a six to seven week number one album.
Like those days are long past for Jay-Z.
So what was I going with that?
Oh, yeah, so, I mean, I've been championing Kendrick,
and I've always recognized his greatness.
So as far as the back and forth,
I'm a Drake fan, so my bias came out.
And I'm thinking to my same.
So, well, Drake could definitely take out Kendrick because Kendrick seemingly does this for sport.
I don't know if he knows that Drake takes it as serious.
And come to find out, he been one in Smoke with Drake.
And he takes it way more serious than Drake has taken it.
And he completely dismantle Drake when it comes to rapping.
So that was unfortunate.
Watch my favorite rapper get muted.
in front of my eyes it was very insane so this video to get back to it emphasizes the
West Coast pride of course and Kendrick's connection to his hometown and then you know
I already gave a review of the pop out if you want to hear that the pop-out analytic dreams
and the shit pop up but basically the not like the not like us music video was fantastic
I mean the bow
I would think this is the
the ribbon or the bow whatever
this is this is it
this is the icing on a cake basically
this is this is it for the not like us track
I don't think there's anything else you could do
besides a remix and that video for the remix
I think that would be a little much
but um not the remix
I think a video for the remix but as far as having a remix
for not like us I think that's the next plausible step
if he wants to keep promoting this track
but besides that
I don't see anything else
he could do
because I don't think
the ether ever had a remix
from Nause
so I don't think
not like I should have a remix
but who knows man
we'll see what Kendrick does
um
what else
I think it's basically it man
you know
whenever
Kendrick just completely
just
destroys your favorite rapper
and not even like
on an objective scale
like
I mean not even on a subjective
scale like when we're talking about rapping which i still think he won but even objectively like
kentrick lamarne's damn album 33rd most played track in the world good kid mad city 38 most played
track in the world so i don't know if i said track for the damn album but that album is the 33rd
most played album in the world good kid mad city 38th most played album in the world um not like us
third most popular track in the world been on the charts for
about eight weeks like that 14 weeks on the charts the 14th most played track in the world
euphoria nine weeks on the charts 44th most played track in the world we're talking about
being compared to uh morgan wallen uh Sabrina carpenter uh billy islish like kendrick gets
commercially outperforming Drake as well, which that was the biggest surprising fact for me,
because I'm all about the numbers, obviously.
And Kendrick is just objectively and subjectively dominating Drake.
So my advice would be for Drake to take a break in the music field.
go act go hop on zeus and you know hop on the pop balloon show you know what i'm saying like
go on one of those episodes and let three three out of four uh three or four out of tens tell you
that you're not their type or go on zeus you know what i'm saying and join one of the shows
where it's all about camaraderie and friendship only to find out they're supposed to fight every
and anybody you see you know like go on one of those shows like a reality show like a reality
show and just act for a little bit you know i mean like you may have to just completely leave the music
scene and just come back because obviously your numbers are still the top when it comes to the most
played hip-hop musician so people are still streaming your old stuff but as far as currently
what's hot in today's world is kendricks music as far as it's not like us his damn album because
good kid mass city album to like their track like everything current
Kendrick is beating you on.
But with you still having to hire monthly numbers,
people are still listening to you more than Kendrick based on your discography.
So just take a break, get out of music, and go do something in the acting field.
I mean, go play basketball.
I don't even be mad at that.
You know what I mean?
Go start your own league, get Ice Cube, join the Big Three.
Like, you know what I mean?
Just forget music right now.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, it's just not for you.
I don't lie.
And to wrap it all up, the reason I'm saying this advice or giving
this advice to you as a Drake fan remind you is that you win some you lose some but you live
you have to live to fight another day and with that being said click my link true in my bio let me know
one of my social media's what do you think about Kendrick Lamar it's not like us music video
and at the end of the day what do you think Drake should do in the midst of him just getting
completely dismantled by Kendrick Lamar
