Now y'all know I'm the furthest thing from a Kendrick hater as he's one of my favorite rappers of all time.
As far as quality-wise, I think Kendrick is up there with the greatest of them.
Like, obviously, in my top five.
With that being said, I think there's a reason why this track remained unreleased.
safe to say that tranquilizer quote unquote that was recently played at a Chanel runway show
was left in the vault for a reason now of course fans are coming out of the woodworks because if
you don't know the last time Kendrick lamar was even attached to musical creation was back in june 5th
23. So now when you have such a prolific artist such as Kendrick's, um, such as Kendrick Lamar and basically
him putting everything and anything into his label mate, baby Keem, because if you don't know,
the whole thing about baby Keem is that he's under PG Lang and it's more of a label that
Kendrick Lamar has started and it's sort of mysterious because the whole TDE aspect and
Kendrick Lamar trying to get out of his deal which he ultimately ended up doing with the Mr.
Morale and the big steppers so now that he's no longer a part of TDE and now that he's a part
now that he's partnered with day free to start PG laying baby keem is starting to be the
mascot for that label. So he's putting a lot of his creative efforts into him. Now, what does
they have to do about this unreleased track? Right. I just want to put in perspective why
Kendrick Lamar has been away for so long. I might always give him flack for taking 15 years to
put an album out. But even though it takes him a whole presidential term to conjure up a project,
it's okay because his quality is unmatched. And I will say that he's probably the best rapper,
rapper I've heard in I would say my lifetime but I still think Jay-Z is number one
and then I'll probably say Biggie is number two and then I'll put Kendrick you know what I'm
saying but that's close enough for me to say that he's the greatest rapper I've heard in the
modern generation so it's not only the way that he raps but vocal inflection is very
and I mean very remnant uh is it reminiscent I think that's right word
It definitely reminds me of Little Wayne as far as the vocal inflection and the level of what he uses it for.
Like it's really like an instrument.
I mean, they always say your voice is an instrument.
But when people take vocal inflection to a whole other level, like most vocalists do, but you really don't see it in rappers.
So that's why when a Little Wayne does it, when a Nicky does it, when the Doja Cat, when the Kendrick does it, it stands out because rappers usually just stay monotone and talk about how they can kill you.
in 15 million different ways.
So with that being said,
the biggest thing you need to know
is that this whole unreleased song
was simply for the Chanel runway show.
I don't think this is going to be
any type of track
that Kendra Moore is going to put out
because it literally sounds
like it was from 2017 down.
And I'm talking about the album.
Not cussing, you know,
it's a PG podcast.
Technically, it was an album title.
So I don't know, do that what you will.
So with the song appearance on
the fashion show
or at the fashion show,
it's just a little glimpse into what could have been as far as certain vault tracks for the album
damn because if you think about it mr more island the big steppers is a pretty solid album but it's no damn
and it's no good kid mad city and it's no section 80 honestly if you really was to put the albums
up against each other i mean i don't even have trouble comparing it to the black panther album that had a bunch of
like pray for me with the weekend big shot with Travis Scott and then the one with future that one
was crazy king's dead with like basically the black panther album that kensic lamar basically had a hand
and putting together was better than mr morale and the big stepers not saying it was a bad album
because obviously Kendrick is such on kendrick is on the level to like it's lebron kd-esque like
their bad games are still better than the field so with mr morale and the big stepers i still believe that was
my favorite album of 2022 but that's not saying much because if you look at the whole list i mean
there's so many other years that was better when you come when you get into quality talk that
bringing up 2022 isn't the best as far as uh the representation uh amongst the other years because in
2020 i mean we had the weekends album and then bryson tiller put out his deluxe uh edition with his album and
then Big Sean put out his album.
And I'm trying to see what else.
Back in 2021, we had, oh, okay, so that was the year.
Yeah, 2021 is why I said 2022 wasn't all that.
But 2021 was when we got Donda, the melodic blue speaking of Baby Keam.
Offseason with Jermaine, even though people think, you know, whatever with Jermaine.
I still have to say the offseason, I think it's his best album ever.
And then, of course, the goat was certified.
Love a Boy, which is why when you follow it up with 2022, Mr. Brown and the Big Stepers,
and I think Drake just put out a collab album with Savage and Chris Brown put out a pretty solid
album, DJ Calais.
So this is what he was working against.
Like, so it was easy to come number one that year.
But as far as his own discography, it wasn't really up to part, I think.
So yeah, really not too much to get into.
It's just an unreleased track that everybody's going crazy over simply for the fact that
this man takes a whole presidential term to drop another, to, to drop a body of work.
Forget like, multiple.
Like, we just want one, at least every four years at this point because it seems like
Kendrick's at the point where he may just mess around and retire and give us little snippets
like he does through Baby King all the time.
I mean, I think the Hillbillies is one of my most popular track reviews simply for the fact
that you got to meet them with.
they're at you know if they don't want to take rap series and drop every 1500 years and whenever they
do drop and it's called the hillbillies and the video is straight up goofy then you just got to call it like
you see it and you know i think that's why people like to listen to my reviews especially when it comes
to kendrick and baby keem so with this whole tranquilizer unreleased track i think it will stay in the
vault because listening to it i mean it's nothing special especially if it was uh throwaway
from damn like obviously you're gonna like they probably said the title the album title while
listening to it like man this is trash you know what I mean so anyways at the end of the day
Kendrick Lamar still top three rapper all time and hopefully at some point he starts to
recognize that people want music from him let's like this is it's really no whole um introspective
solution it's just recognize that your fans want music from you and give it to him that's literally it
like you ain't got to be drake dropping every year but at least give us buy yearly like we can't get
it by like can't get an EP by yearly leading up to the album like that's ridiculous so anyways
click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about kensigl mar in this
unreleased song tranquilizer that was played during a recent chenelle runway show and just based off the
snippet do you think it was no actually it's a vault track so i'm not going to ask that do you think
kensrick lamar is a top three rapper all time
