Starting point is 00:00:03 It is a great time to be an anime enthusiast as not only when it comes to the demon slayer in the movie theaters, just running up phenomenal numbers to the point where it was one of the best films in Japan. And even that's an understatement as 633 million grossed in Japan and was the highest grossing Japanese film ever. surpassing mugan train which generated 506 million and spirited away which generated 395 million but that's not it ladies and gentlemen it also came to the u.s slash canada and in its opening weekend sold set well generated 70 million as far as from september 13th to september 15th which was the biggest animated opening of 2025 And also just for anime in general, it was one of the biggest animated openings ever.
Starting point is 00:01:11 So that being said, the main reason why I bring that up is for the particular gentleman that we're going to get into for today as Kenji no Yonezu. Hopefully I said that right. Yonazu. I think that's how you say it. But his track, Iris Out, is currently the number one most played track in Japan. analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio because I currently have the top 10 the current top 10 up as far as Kenchi knows Yonezu having the most successful track in Japan by far and the reason why I say by far is because your boy analytic dreams did some journalistic research
Starting point is 00:01:52 and guess what I fell ladies and gentlemen as far as future chart predictions October 11th from chart data safe to say and it could change so take this with a grain of salt but safe to say Kenji No Yonezu's track Iris Out is said to be the fifth most play track in the world. So when it comes to anime, when it comes to music, people are starting to realize just how big anime connoisseurs are as far as, and just how supportive they are to the certain IPs that they really frequent as far as their childhood, as far as what they're watching currently. Because some animas, I say some, I think some of the best ones are more mature. rated but that's just me i'm not trying to give any anime hot takes because i don't watch anime like
Starting point is 00:02:40 that but for the most part it does seem like anime is more foundational it's foundation is basically telling real life adult stories but it's animated so people think it's something of a kid's story and then you see people's head get chopped off and things of nature and blood going everywhere and then you start to realize like hold them now shepherd yeah this is kind of violent so anyways uh with that being said when getting back in the iris out not only is it the most played track in japan but the cd version dropped september 24th after its digital release september 15th and it ranked number three in physical sales with 255 000 copies sold it was number two and downloads and number 11 in radio number 12 and karaoke hold on the world You guys. Yeah, I hear seeing it.
Starting point is 00:03:36 All right, whatever. And then also, it was leading, streaming, and video views. And, of course, when you look at future chart predictions, it is slated to be the fifth most played track globally. Not in Japan, not in any other specific region. We're talking about globally. It is set to debut as the number five or the fifth most played track in the world, which is technically speaking the highest ever for a,
Starting point is 00:04:04 Japanese language track per billboard I mean if that's not a phenomenal accomplishment then I don't know I don't know what is so as far as seeing the artists who made this happen analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio because I'm currently on his IG this is IG right here I believe this is his IG is that it's Hachi underscore 08 and this is this latest post so is this latest post let me make sure it's not a pin tweet let me see it has his latest post but anyways I'm glad I clicked on this as well as when it comes to the Chris Brown effect. Ladies and gentlemen, I say that Chris Brown is one of the most talented humans I've ever seen, but y'all call it glazing, but you know, you guys. See, that's the problem.
Starting point is 00:04:45 As far as Kenchi's ability to make a track for anime connoisseurs and then also paint like this, it reminded me of Chris Brown, you know, maybe a hot take, but I do believe Chris Brown's painting ability and just his drawing ability is really underrated. But, you know, I call him the most talented human i've ever seen so y'all probably say you know i'm still glazing you guys anyways kenshi making this artist uh this uh this art for his single and for both of them to be resonating positively to the anime connoisseurs and even his fans just shows you how talented he is from a plethora of standpoint so now when you look at iris out that's also co-produced by uh kinshi and when it blends the rap singing and emotional synth rock to fit the anime type of vibe because if you don't know
Starting point is 00:05:40 this is technically for the chain stall man the movie rizzi arc and that ended up um i don't know what that movie is about honestly but as far as the track for that you know it's performing well like i already read off the statistics but if you wanted to know what it was attached to it because I know I played this at the beginning. You was probably thinking to yourself, what in the world is going on right here? When it comes to what I first was showcasing, this is essentially the chainsaw I was talking about.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Well, this is essentially the anime show I was talking about as far as the chainsaw man, the movie rees arc. So if you wanted to hear the track along with the anime, just know that's what the anime's called. So I just wanted to go over this specific track because Kenchi also currently holds the number two, most popular track in Japan with his hit with his duet with um hekari hekari utata i think i said her name right but i think this is them right here if i'm not mistaken yeah this is them right here taking a
Starting point is 00:06:49 picture but ultimately they had a whole duet and it's set to do tremendously in japan said to be the second most played track in japan whilst uh kenshi also has the most played track in japan so definitely a huge W for him and at the end of the day it being one of the biggest or the highest ever charting for a Japanese language track per billboard is a phenomenal accomplishment and definitely showcases how kenshi yonezu is out here notoriously affecting the masses now at that being said click my link to my bio let me know on one of my social media is what do you think about kenshi in general do you like him more for it singing do you like him more for his artistic ability as far as drawing or do you like how it fits with the chainsaw man uh anime and will you be giving it a watch and listen
