Pohy Wetzel.
Hopefully I'm saying that name right, but the one thing I am going to be saying right is he has came back with a track high road that has definitely taken a high road when it comes to position on the charts.
Because the 27th most played song in the world belongs to him.
As this fan favorite track is from Kobe Wetzel's forthcoming.
album titled nine lives that's already charting on Billboard Hot 100. I would assume that's from
like pre-sales and stuff. But anyways, he has now put a music video along with this track High Road.
And oh, excuse me, this feat this track is also featuring Jesse Murph. Now, who is that? I have no
idea. But hey, I had to say it. Right. So Corey Wetzel and Jesse Murph, they both have
have a hit with the track high road spent on the charts for only two weeks but it's still the 27th
most play song in the world currently and as far as the projections as far as the projections is
seemingly going to hold that 27th spot not move up not move down but it's holding that spot which is not
bad in general so non-lives will be released july 19th is the album from joey wetsle hopefully i'm saying
his last name right as i don't know hopefully um and then they said that it would be predominantly
produced by Gabe simmon simon simon with contributions from josh sarato carrie k and sam harris
so what else so some would say it's a blend of rnb and country um i saw some
playlist putting it under rap
country which I thought it was a very
interesting genre
because if it's rap
wouldn't it not be considered
country and if it's country wouldn't it not
be considered rap
that's the thing that's interesting like
as far as genres like we may get
to a point like in the NBA
you know how I don't want to lose my
non-sports fans
but for the people who are sports fans
I got to throw this analogy out there
you know how the NBA is kind of going
away from position basketball.
Like it's more like positionless basketball
because now you have people like
Victor Wembeyanma being 7-9 with guard handles,
stuff like that.
And that's going on in the music industry.
Beyonce put out a country album,
but then said it's not country,
it's R&B, it's pop,
is a lot of things in one.
So I think what's happening now
is with all these different genres
and with the evolution of the internet,
it's being way,
It is way more accessible to get into different genres,
simply because you can see how different genres make their music.
And now you can take that, put it into your own bag, your organic bag,
and now you have a mix of genres, which and Joey in Kobe's case is incorporating R&B elements
while also maintaining his rock-infused Texas country style.
You see how I just said R&B rock country,
all in one.
That's why I gave that
basketball analogy.
For the people who don't know about basketball,
he probably don't even know what I'm talking about.
But so anyways,
yeah, man, he's great at mixing
genres and seemingly
it's incaptivate, well, not seemingly,
it's definitely incaptivating the masses
and the mass effect that he's having
is shown by analytics
with it being the 27th most played track
in the world.
So with that being said,
click my link to you in my bio.
Let me know one of my social medias.
Are you looking forward for the COI fans out there?
Are you looking forward to his upcoming album, non-lives, that should be coming out July 19th?
And as far as this particular track, High Road, do you think is fire or trash?
