Starting point is 00:00:03 Ladies and gentlemen, I have to let you know that of course when it comes to K-pop demon hunters, which we've covered several times on this podcast dating all the way back to June 30th of this particular year. So you should know you're definitely in the right hands as far as an update because we've been breaking this down for quite some time as this is not only one of the most successful animated films. This is the. most successful animated film Netflix has ever had. So with that being said, Netflix has now started to refer to K-pop demon hunters as the very own Frozen, which if you don't know, of course, everybody remembers the Disney classic that is Frozen. When you look at the year of 2025 and what demon, what K-pop demon hunters have been doing to impact the masses, especially some of the, the particular tracks that I cover through the soundtrack. I haven't even seen the full movie yet. And we're going to get to that in the second. But I've listened to the soundtrack time and time again to the point where my favorite
Starting point is 00:01:16 to this day is still the Sager Boys with their particular track off of. Let me see. What was it? What's it? It wasn't that one. The, your idol. That's what it was. The Saja Boys track, your idol.
Starting point is 00:01:31 That was my favorite off of the soundtrack. and then of course when it came to the girl group i think the my favorite from their track it wasn't takedown that was one of them i did like take down um i also like soda pop i like a lot i like a lot of the songs from the sager boys how's it done it's pretty solid um i think i think i think it was free i think i think free was one of my favorites from the girl group anyways that being said um k-pop demon hunters i've covered this a bunch of times especially diving into the impact of the particular tracks whether it's soda pop whether it's what it sounds like whether it's how's it done you get the point right to the point where not only are these tracks still having some success even though it came out
Starting point is 00:02:13 june 20th and we are in and it's august 19 right we should tell you how long i've been following this soundtrack i mean my first coverage of this soundtrack was june 30th and it came out june 20th so i feel like i was pretty early as far as noticing how impactful this soundtrack has been and would be in the future because of the numbers it was putting up to the point where it's still the second most played project in the world falling behind only to uh morgan wall and his album i'm the problem so that should showcase how popular the project is as a whole but more specifically the singles as of right now the singles for k-pop is doing phenomenal numbers i mean it's one of the first ever numbers achieved by a k-pop artist fictional or real it's for
Starting point is 00:03:02 bars in the top billboard hot 100 with multiple tracks because essentially k-pop demon hunters in their group the girl group is the first all-woman collective to hit number one since destiny child's track which you know there's a pg podcast but you know for for research purposes for people who want a fact check as i'm talking uh the destiny child's track that broke the record was booty licious yes ladies and gentlemen you guys see that's the problem So that being said, let's just say that was the only track to ever achieve the number one hit, right, as a girl group. And now K-pop Dima Hunters since the second, which is show you how phenomenal this group has been performing analytically. And then when it comes to that, it's only the second animated film song this decade to hit number one after Disney's Encantos.
Starting point is 00:03:53 We don't talk about Bruno. I wonder, I just wonder who was pointing this all out all the way back on June 30th of this year. And of course, if you want a fact check, you know me, hey, be my guess. As when it comes to K-pop Demon Hunters' Analytic Dreams with a Z on whatever platform you listen to podcast, you will see when my K-pop Demon Hunter's soundtrack coverage started, and you will see where it's at now.
Starting point is 00:04:18 As I pointed this out then, and I'm pointing it out now, as I already recognized the massive impact this soundtrack was going to have. Because there was a lot of tracks, a lot of projects, they had a lot of marketing dollars behind it. That was not performing, even close to what K-pop Demon Hunters was instilled. is performing at as far as them topping the charts now when it's when it comes to the UK charts in the singles golden is unequivocally number one when it comes to official singles chart in the
Starting point is 00:04:46 UK so that's the UK equivalent of Billboard Hot 100 it's the first K-pop song to top the UK singles chart for more than one week and then transitioning from that because of course I could just beat you down with the numbers for the foreseeable future because I've been covering this for quite some time so people who've already been listening to my k-pop demon hunter's coverage you already know where they stand in the longevity of things but i just wanted to put in perspective one more time for people who are not aware but of course for this particular segment we are not only diving into the singles as when it comes to me when it comes to me wanting to watch the movie i'm glad i awaited as the theatrical expansion yes ladies and gentlemen analytic analytic analytics dreams video on spotify
Starting point is 00:05:28 to see the video along with the audio because right now playing the trailer that they have on their Instagram account promoting how this animated movie from Netflix is coming to theaters for one weekend only. So this K-pop Demon Hunter's movie is coming to theaters August 2025. And with that being said, more specifically, August 23rd and August 24th. I'm looking at the post so I don't misconstrued the dates across North America, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Over 300 screenings have sold out already. So initially it was billed as a two-night event as far as coming to the theaters, but it may demand more, uh, it may demand force extension because of the fan base already selling out theaters across the world. So August 23rd, which is basically, isn't that this weekend?
Starting point is 00:06:21 Let me see. Yeah, so this Saturday and then Sunday is when this movie is coming to theater. So with that being said, I would definitely make sure. to check your local theater because of course if you don't look online and get the tickets right now then of course it may be sold out if you try to wait right the day before the day of as far as saturday and sunday which you know in numbers terms let's do august 23rd and august 24th so anyways that's one of the big things i wanted to showcase as far as letting people know that they are expanding upon the marketing rollout for the soundtrack which they definitely should be as the numbers are through the roof.
Starting point is 00:07:00 I mean, we're not even talking about a K-pop Demon Hunter's single, a sequel at this point. I would be hard-pressed if this doesn't turn into its very own franchise as far as having branching timelines and movies, not timelines, but movies and TV shows. As the Saja Boys and the girl group, both have popular tracks off of this movie. Now, of course, I got to watch the movie to see how it plays out for those two groups, but ultimately they already have two solidified groups in the movie. so from that standpoint i feel like branching out would be the obvious route especially how k-pop demon hunters have already made netflix 20 million dollars right so with that being said
Starting point is 00:07:42 there was something else i was one again to and that was oh it's current standing so as of right now billboard uh one hot 100 we have golden and number two like i said it was number one on the uk charts but as of the u.s charts of the globally um billboard hot 100 Golden track is number two. How's it done is number 14? What it sounds like is the 24. And so when I say this, I'm talking about the most played track in the world. So Golden is the second most play track in the world, but it's the best performer track off of the soundtrack. How's it done is the 14th most play track in the world. What it sounds like is the 24th most played track in the world and takedown is the 26 most play track in the world. That's all from the K-pop Demon Hunter soundtrack, which is a phenomenal accomplishment. Looking at the few things, looking at the few things. chart predictions as far as slated for August 30th. Golden is slated to be the most popular track in the world. It's really competing for the number one spot. I don't know how Morgan Wallin and Alex Warren is holding that spot.
Starting point is 00:08:40 But K-pop Demon Hunters is closing on them fast. Then you have your idol, which is the fourth most played track in the world. Well, no, it's slated to be the fourth most played track in the world as far as future chart predictions for August 30th. And then we have soda pop that slated to be the fifth most play track. How's it done? to be the eighth, you get the point. People are still listening to this soundtrack, and obviously, with the theatrical release,
Starting point is 00:09:06 people are just going to be listening to even more K-pop Dima Hunter. So with that being said, be on the lookout for my review. It's definitely coming out soon as I really do enjoy the soundtrack. So getting into the movie is going to be like reversed. I'm pretty sure a lot of people watch the movie and then got into the soundtrack, me,
Starting point is 00:09:22 who covers the entire music industry. Obviously, it was opposite. So I can't wait to get into the movie, see what they have in story. as far as incorporating the soundtrack throughout the movie and obviously I'm gonna put out my review when I watched the movie so that being said click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about k-pop demon hunter's soundtrack being one of the most successful soundtracks of all time to the point where it broke the record as far as becoming the first all-women
Starting point is 00:09:49 collective to hit number one since destiny child and also when it comes to the theatrical release that is happening August 23rd and August 24th will you be going to watch K-pop demon hunters in theaters
