So of course, when we're talking about the notorious mass effect from all genres, we have to get back into K-pop. As you already know, my coverage of Rose, my coverage of Junkukuk, way back in the past as far as when he went on his mammoth of a run. And I covered him being called by any and every hip-hop artist to have a track with him. As I remember, I think it was Lotto. It was Lotto and John Cook. Let me see. Yeah, Lotto and Junk Cook had a track titled seven. And then Jack Harlow had a track with John Cook titled 3D.

This was all the way back in 2023. And this was because John Cook was running the charts like no other artist was back in 2023. Now, currently speaking, we have a soundtrack that's back again. Well, not back again. We have a soundtrack that's going crazy on the charts to the point where the K-pop demon hunters, which if you don't know, is a 2020. American animated musical fantasy comedy film produced by Sony Pictures and distributed by Netflix. But besides that, the actual music is the thing that's really making the standout as the project.

The K-pop Demon Hunter's soundtrack is currently the ninth most played project in the world. And of course, I was wanting to show you all that. So it's even above my favorite artist, which is insanity, right? I mean, sometimes. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? Like, as you can see right here,

this is the top 10 most played projects in the world. So, of course, as you can look at, like, look at this. Well, in the world, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. K-pop demon hunters and soundtrack is the ninth most played project on planet Earth. And of course, you see Drake right there in number 10. You see size seven, ironically, with the number seven placement.

And then of course you see the top. So well, shout out to Siza and Carol G. So that being said, that just gives you the grandiose scope of how popular the soundtrack is. Now, more specifically, there's all type of lyric videos out because of the popularity of these specific tracks. So you have free as far as the official lyric video. You have Golden. You have your idol. How's it done?

A lot of these tracks are going crazy on Billboard. Now, as far as top 100, I couldn't find any of the tracks from the soundtrack on the top 100, but as far as the entire project, it's the ninth most play. So a lot of people are just listening to several tracks off of this soundtrack time and time again. So the main thing I wanted to do because I haven't even covered this, because I definitely can't just get into the music. That's a automatic copyright. That's a perfect transition. Makes all the sense in the world. They have some talent behind this show. So it's not even the soundtrack that's going crazy. I'm pretty sure this actual show is probably, I'm going to check it out. You know, that's why I like expanding my show. palette because some things you look at it you genuinely start to like gain like oh maybe I should watch it so if a studio with this type of accolade on their belt

you got it you got to give it a watch a little different from Spider-Man but you know they are being superheroes technically I can destroy the hunters for good it's time for a new strategy is that coming loud what what in the BTS they're coming after the fans The Saja Boy. Let's go get these guys. You think we're just going to let you steal our fans? You're going to have to fight us for them. It's pretty interesting.

It's an interesting premise. And obviously, I'm not just saying that. As a superhero fan, I do love when they incorporate superhero into different genres or different facets of entertainment, just to let you know how easily you could get something that's superhero-based, but still very diverse. It's one thing, it's one of the, reasons to in my opinion that captain america winter soldier was one of the greatest marvel movies

ever put out because of the way they went with the espionage route and made it realistic in the superhero format anyway that's enough for me nerding out now let's get to the rest of the trailer yeah this plane's trashed everything is at stake all right so now they're playing a little music you know i got to talk over this can't be having yeah okay so anyways so as you already know it's been out for nine days so not that long as far as uh people just game we're getting accustomed to the soundtrack because it's already going like it's generating so much engagement on the charts that there's definitely going to be a part two of this but anyways the k-pop demon hunters show or is it a show a movie i think it's a movie yeah so it's a movie and it's out now on Netflix so if you do have Netflix you know if you have to steal a password you know what I'm saying you may have to do what you got to do you know what I mean but with that being said um K-pop Demon Hunters, the soundtrack was also released the same day on June 20th, which makes it even more surprising how fast it rose on the charts. As far as Golden, I think objectively speaking, that's their most popular track from the soundtrack with 2.33 million streams.

With your idol, that's the second most played track. Y'all get the point. There's like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Goodness. There is 8 tracks off of this soundtrack going crazy. and I don't know how many tracks it actually has imagine if it only has eight like in a way every single track

you dropped on the soundtrack just went the same which you know the Spiderverse I got to know the team behind this release because the Spiderverse soundtrack I mean granted you did have Metro and then you did have Post Malone and Sway Lee put out like one of the greatest

tracks of all time as far as Sunflowers so this whoever's behind the Spiderverse and this shows or Mozy's soundtrack, they got to have like one of the greatest ears in music, because this is just insane. So let me see.

K. Pop, Demon Hunters, let me see. So it's 12 tracks in total, 37 minutes in length, and there's seven tracks going crazy on the charts off of this soundtrack already, which is insanity. That's insane.

Because if y'all don't remember, just know. When Spider-Verse came out, obviously it was a phenomenal film and me being the superhero nerd, one of the greatest superhero films I've ever seen. But then the soundtrack also has sunflower on it, which is one of the most, not one of, that's disrespectful. It's literally the most popular song released in the past five to six years surpassing Old Town Road from Lil Nas X. So if you want to know just how insanely like, like as far as, stature their ears whoever's behind this team having success off of this soundtrack and they're also having success off of not one soundtrack but also the other soundtrack because the second one remember

it was metro booming on the whole uh spot of verse soundtrack and everybody loved that soundtrack as well and it had a lot to live up to because the first one has sunflower on it so i got to know the people actually we've been looked at up right now wait hold up who's the team behind the soundtrack selection i i got to know i got to know okay so it's only giving me the the songwriters producers and vocalists for this soundtrack so i'm pretty sure that's different than the actual um spider verse so of course we know metro boom it had a lot to do with the second soundtrack the first soundtrack was like a compilation of hip-hop slash you know rnb type songs but then sunflower went crazy this one uh is produced by teddy parks 24 it says id o so i do ido one of those

domi suke uh jenna andrews stephen kirk why don't bouchy that one uh lindgren and ian eisen draft i ain't gonna lie that sounds exquisite to me you know i don't even know how i got those pronunciations off but anyways they're behind i think that i was assumed as far as this is very vague as far as this shot right here when they say from netflix and sony pictures animation the studio behind spider man across the spider verse we don't know how many people from the spider verse is behind this obviously we're gonna just assume they took a lot of the talented people as this looks phenomenal and the soundtrack's going crazy but at the end of the end of the end of the a day very surprising how crazy not only their soundtrack went but of course going back to their

previous accolades them having that consistent run so yeah this is insane this whoever's the actual people behind the soundtrack selection you may deserve a grammy i am not going to lie to you like at some at some point we just got called a spade to spade if you have the ear to create not one not two but three soundtracks that just straight up a hit across the masses has to be a grammy for that Let me see. That has to be. Is there a Grammy for soundtracks? I know there is, but I just, I need to know the actual one.

So it's called the Best Soundtrack Award. I wonder who won that in the past five years. This is how I do my research. I ain't going to lie to you. As five years. If y'all don't care about the music industry, I'm sorry. That's what we get into over here. The gaming music industry, we got to dive into it.

So as far as the best soundtrack, Dune won as far as this year. Oppenheimer won as far. as 2024 and canto remember oh y'all remember but the stream if you was here for the full stream i was literally brought up in canto and how i went crazy in 23 so they won an award for best soundtrack from the grommies uh and then let me see soul i remember soul so was also a phenomenal but very dark movie if you really and soul was a dark movie but it was pretty fire uh that won for best soundtrack back in 2022 and then joker won in 2021 so yeah none of this is

Spider-Man across the Spider-Vers 1. Hmm, that's tough. Maybe it's that superhero bias, but then Joker won, but he's a villain. So, y'all get the point. All right, so that's my reaction. As you can tell, I was genuinely, like, encaptivated by this. I really liked it. And I think that's all you can ask for when you expand your palate.

So K-pop, Demon Hunters, is out now on Netflix. May I have to steal a password, but I'm just letting you know the platform is on.
