Shepard, promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for free content.
Now ladies and gentlemen, of course over here on notorious mass effect, we do get into the gaming and music IPs that notoriously affect the masses and safe to say for this particular segment.
You guys.
You guys.
We are diving into the Spanish pop punk slash indie rock band from Paula Madrid.
As if you don't know, the particular group that we're getting into today is the first time I've ever covered this particular band.
they go by the name of La La Love You, and the particular track we're getting into for this segment is Elfin del Mundo, featuring Axelos Mexicano.
You know what I'm saying? Just dubby pronunciation.
No, too crazy, you know what I mean?
It's like, you ain't got to do all that.
Come on, Drusky, they ain't got to do all that, but definitely make sure to rate this five stars.
Now, the reason why we're diving into this, while we're diving into this particular track is because Elfin del Mundo is currently the 10th most played track in Mexico.
And when it comes to that, this group is definitely no stranger to success as when it comes to them winning the MTV EMA for Best Spanish Artists in 2020.
When it comes to the O'Don Award for Best Revelation Artists in 2021, when it comes to a multi-platinum certification.
Okay, y'all get the point.
They are verily successful.
Very successful.
So the main thing I was wanting to get into is the premieres.
Pro Muskey.
Pro Music key.
I think it's Pro Music Key.
So when it comes to that, basically, this is Spain's official recorded music industry trade association and chart compilers, similar to in the States.
We have Billboard, et cetera, right?
So when it comes to pro music key, the main reason why I'm bringing that up is because this particular group is doing phenomenal when it comes to those specific charts.
And, um, um, um, you see, okay, hold on.
Am I not spelling this right?
Oh, I hear this.
Okay, so basically they peaked at number 27 on Spain's
for music key top 100.
And when it comes to the viral success on their particular charts,
they have 180 plus consecutive weeks on the From Music Key charts,
which is the record as far as the all-time record.
And of course, when it comes to that,
becoming the longest charting song
and this specific
track we're getting into
as far as Elfin del Mundo
that's the 10th most played track in Mexico
is currently the longest chart
charting song in Pro Music Key history
with already said it but I'm saying it again
180 plus consecutive weeks on the chart
so the main reason why we're getting
into this specific specific track
is because not only
did this track come out November 29th, 2019
but ladies and gentlemen
you know if I was to look at my handy dandy watch you know what I'm saying
safe to say is the year of 2026 and it's still one of the most notorious mass affecting
tracks out in the music industry I definitely wanted to highlight how when it comes to different
marketing strategies this particular band as far as la la love you they are the most streamed spanish
they have the most streamed Spanish indie song on spotify so shout to them because of course being
indie, it's very hard to even get
a notorious mass effect
wave in your own
system because of course
when you look at the chart
specifically UMG has 58%
Sony has 25%
Warner has 15%
of course others which is smaller labels
than individual and independent acts
they have a whopping 2%
you guys
so when you look at La La Love you
having their particular success
independent wise
it is very much a phenomenal feat and almost a lottery type of effect that they're having right now
because they are essentially the point 0.001% as far as the music industry and how to have
success with a particular track. So I already know when it comes to the marketing strategy,
when it comes to where they're peaking at, of course, I think having Axelots Mexicans
definitely helped out as far as the appeal of both artists on one particular track and bringing
their respective fan base.
But of course, initially, it had modest success.
It was very much a sleeper hit.
If you play this around your friends who love Mexican music as far as timbados,
Carridos tombados, or other type of Spanish music, you would come to realize that if you
play this particular track, they may just say that you no ball, right?
So as far as it being a sleeper hit out the gate, it exploded in popularity during the COVID,
19 lockdown.
So this reminds me a little baby as far as him having very much his biggest appeal while
we were all locked down in COVID, especially when it comes to the bigger picture, when it comes
to his albums in 2020 to 2022, which is definitely the COVID times.
I believe certain musicians who have their peak during COVID, I'm not going to say it's a
gift and a curse, but I will say,
that in those times, you probably couldn't celebrate your success like you would want to.
So getting back into La La Love You Success.
I mean, they had early releases from a track title, Um, K Riko in 2008,
and of course, a self-titled track titled, Lala, Love You in 2013.
And when it comes to the original founders, is Roberto Amor, David Marino.
And of course, you have the later members such as,
Berlin, Oscar Hoyos,
Hoyas, I think that's how you said.
Oscar Hoyas?
Hold on, let me make sure you know,
I got to get that pronunciation right,
you know what I'm saying?
Oscar Oyos.
Orios, okay, Oscar Oreos.
So when it comes to that,
the band name came from the inspiration
came from Pixie's song,
La La Love You,
which is why they got their name
in the first place.
So if you wanted to know about the group,
I just told you, you know what I'm saying?
So another thing I was going to get into
outside of the mammoth of success they're having right now
is that not only are they continue to have this type of success
but of course they have live events as I'm showing right now
analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio
because this is currently what is going on
I was trying to find another video that's recent
yeah here's another video of them performing so basically
they have a very cult-like audience
that will come out to watch them live
and of course they'll always convert well not always
but if you're a good performer, which they are, it will convert into actual sales on DSPs
because people will go from the live performance saying to themselves, I want to listen to that track
again to remind me of when I went to go watch them live.
And that's only if you're a great performer, which Lala love you obviously is.
So another thing before, another thing I was wanting to dive into is this being one of the prime
examples of why it's always good to never give up on a track if you believe in it,
especially when you have a marketing strategy that you can attach to it,
whether it's Spotify playlist, TikTok, social media, sharing, user-generated content.
I believe not only did that help out as far as that specific marketing strategy,
but of course you have remixed versions by artists including N. Mir, I think that's how you say it,
and L. Yella, as far as expanding the song's audience, the particular song we're getting into
for this segment.
in Mir and L. Iiella, those are the artists that remix El Fend Del Mundo and helped grow and expand
the actual songs audience. So when you see it frequently featured in Spanish television, media,
festivals, and live performances, just know where it came from originally. This track came out
November 29th, 2019, and it's 2026. And when it comes to the,
TV shows and different media grasping this specific tracking using it in their own way.
Just know that at first, it had very much a grassroots type of appeal because when it comes
to the modest outing as far as putting out the track and not getting the type of traction
that you think you deserve, safe to say, if you stick with it with the right marketing
strategies, then you never know what can happen with that particular track, especially if
you believe in it.
So when it comes to the band, they also sought out major venues, including Wiz Zink Center,
Wiz Inc. Center in Madrid, increased festival headlining appearances, expanded recognition beyond Spain,
and demonstrated that an independent band could achieve mainstream commercial success.
Because once again, as far as the music market share, UMG has 58%, Sony has 25%, and Warner has 15.
and when it comes to the others,
which is smallest labels
and independent acts in general,
they have a whopping 2%.
Which is why I love stories like this,
which is why I love stories like this
as far as Lala,
let me get the name right, as far as Lala
love you, their particular,
this particular band and the
independent success story with their track
Elfin, Del Mundo, just ultimately
cultivated into having
the 10th, into
having currently, the
10th most play track in Mexico.
So with that being said,
click my link to you in my bio to follow me on my social
medias. And of course, if you're on Spotify,
and if you listen to La La Love You,
what is your favorite track from them and why?
