The great Lady Gaga is back again with the latest album titled Mayhem.
Now, ladies and gentlemen, when I tell you that Die with a Smile with Bruno Mars came out of nowhere to the point where covering it was very interesting because of course it's Bruno Mars and of course it's Lady Gaga.
But at some point, you have to recognize where a classic has just been made.
like as far as Lady Gaga
and the track
with Bruno Mars title Die With a Smile
that track is so phenomenal that it may go down
as one of Lady Gaga's best tracks
of all time.
So that being said, let's get into the album.
Mayhem is out now on all DSPs
and when it comes to this,
this is her seventh studio album
obviously released today
under Interscrow Records.
And with that being said,
some of the things I wanted to get into as far as Lady Gaga, I mean, besides the charts, because I mean, we really have to talk about how she has the second most popular track in the world currently with Die With a Smile with Bruno Mars. It's pretty apparent, right? But also, the single leading up to this album, which I also covered titled Abra Cadabra, that is the 31st most played track in the world. So if you look at, let me see,
First ever.
Because looking at Lady Gaga's discography,
when she's impacting the charts like this in 2025,
having arguably the most popular track in the world
because it fluctuates from one and two.
And then you have the track Abercadabra,
which is the 31st most played track in the world
that solely has her on it.
So nobody can say like, oh, she can't,
she can only do it with other popular musicians.
Like she has a whole track by herself.
That's the 31st most played track in the world.
And then you come to realize that it's 2025, right?
Lady Gaga had an official debut single just dance in 2008 under Endoscope Records.
Now, that is interesting because, of course, pre-Gaga, which is the Stefani Germinotti era,
I think that's how you pronounce it.
I forget how you pronounce that.
She released red and blue, and that was in 2005.
So 20 years later, I feel like I'm talking about LeBron James right now, 20 years later, and she still has arguably the most popular track in the world with Die with a Smile.
That is actually insanity.
So we're not going to get into the, we're not going to get into Lady Gaga's appearance in the Joker movie.
Because of course, you know, we want to be respectful of our legends, but let's just say that appearance could.
of uh weighted let's just put it like that right i don't think that appearance was the greatest as far as
for her overall brand but when it came to the soundtrack and when it came to her appearance and the joker
i'm pretty sure she was compensated you know pretty lovely as far as her appearing in there so anyways
um her last album that she put out besides all the movie stuff like the joker uh top gun she has
an album titled holly quinn but that came out last year so that was probably just to promote the
or movie. Essentially, I'm saying that her only album before that, that is just her, because she has
another one with Tony Bennett, right, is Dawn of Chroma Tika, Chromatica. I think it's Chromatica.
I don't know why that took me so long to pronounce, but anyways, that came out September 3rd,
2021. So when you look at her solo albums, it's really not that many that you could point towards
as her own because for releasing music this long, I mean, I guess it makes sense to now try
to collaborate more with others as far as making a body of work. But mayhem seems like the
first in a long while of just straight Lady Gaga music where she's like the sole attraction
of this project. And it's interesting because now, not only do you have
Aber-cadabra on this track, but you're going to realize that DiWitt
Smile is also on this track, and you realize the names of flip-flops.
And now it's no longer Bruno Morris in the front, is Lady Gaga in the front.
So when it comes to the release, I thought it was a Bruno Mars track,
and then came to realize that it was a Lady Gaga track.
Because if you don't know, Bruno Mars is doing a lot of things on the charts right now
when it comes to putting our music.
So I thought this was a rollout for one of his albums, as he also,
has APT with Rosie that's out on the charts currently but and then he has fat juicy and wet which is
still one of the worst songs ever created and maybe just in history I ain't a lot to you with uh sexy red
that's the 70th most played track in the world but then the track with rosy APT is the sixth most
play track in the world and the track with uh lady Gaga died with a smile is the second most played
track in the world all the those are owned by the other artists I don't know why I thought is Bruno's track
So anyways, Lady Gaga is doing phenomenal on her chart, safe to say, right?
And that just leaves me to say that this first week sales for Lady Gaga, I could see her having a number one with mayhem.
And I could see her putting a phenomenal numbers as far as the anticipation built.
But on other hand, I have seen artists put out very successful singles and then their first week sales not really mimic the amount of engagement that the single receives, right?
A single can receive a lot of engagement, but that does not mean it's going to translate into the album.
But the main reason why I'm thinking it will translate and Lady Gaga will come out with the number one album is because she has abracadabra and Die with a Smile on the charts.
If Die With a Smile was the only track on the charts when she released Mayhem, I don't think she released another track as far as before the album.
She released Abra-cadabra.
then she released Santa Claus is coming to town so I don't think that's like a real track for her album
and then you have the disease single that came out November 20th so she's been putting out singles
like disease I think is an actual single that she was trying to push but ultimately
abracadabra was the one that blew up and I wonder if disease is even on mayhem let me see
see yeah disease and abracadabra is the first two tracks off of the album so she obviously
knows what she's doing as the third track off of that album title garden and eden which we're
about to get into right now is basically the continuation of singles from disease abracadabra
because they chose garden to Eden as far as her team uh to promote on these playlists so as far as her
being under endoscope records i think that this is going to be a phenomenal um push as far as the
charts are considered because she already has one of the most popular tracks in the world so that
being said click my link sure my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about
lady gaga's seventh studio album titled of mayhem and at the end of the day will you be giving it a listen
