Starting point is 00:00:04 Now, just from a production standpoint, this may be the standout track off of the album because Zombie Boy is very similar to another track. But I don't want to get in trouble, right? I'm not trying to make any iconic fan base upset. But let me just say, the first seven seconds of Zombie Boy, I was like, am I tripping? Like, it reminds me of something, but I just can't put my finger on it. And that's what I'm going to leave it at. So with that being said, Zombie Boy is the eighth track off of this album. titled Mayhem. If you don't know Lady Gaga, I just put out an album titled Mayhem as one of her
Starting point is 00:00:39 first releases as far as a solo project. I don't know. I really don't remember the last completely solo Lady Gaga album. Well, not completely because she has features, but you know, in general, you know, most of it being herself, I don't remember a solo album since like, what has been like 10 years at this point? Like, I think this is more of like a follow up to the fame. I was say and her earlier days and the overall genre and the overall motive of this like unpretentious version of gaga is very interesting because recently she's been on the joker soundtrack she's been on the top gun soundtrack uh she put out something titled harley quinn she has love for sale which is like a collaborative project in my opinion like it's very interesting how when
Starting point is 00:01:34 the fame came out in 2008, that was really the first and last time we really seen Lady Gaga staying on her own majority of the time without any movies, collaborative efforts, things of that nature. So Mayhem is kind of a throwback to what Lady Gaga used to give us in the past. Now, of course, I'm not saying that it's like better than her old music or whatever because, you know, people love to live in the past and they always say every artist's pastwork is better than the current. So with that being said, I'm not saying this right. I'm just saying that's what people say. When it comes to critics and people just loving your old work more than your current,
Starting point is 00:02:12 I think has a lot to do with nostalgia versus actual quality conversations. So anyways, when comes to Lady Gaga, I do believe this track is going to go up on the charts because the production level, there's an interesting comparison you can make with this. And it's been done before at a very high level. And so with zombie boy being one of those tracks to kind of reinvigorate that sound and that type of sound, I think it's going to be very pivotal on the charts for the foreseeable future. Because if you don't know, Lady Gaga has the second most popular track in the world with Die with a Smile. But she also has the 31st most popular track in the world.
Starting point is 00:02:57 So that's very telling on how much intense. they've been building for this album because disease didn't do that well on the charts is not the top 100 so abracadabra and die with a smile which is on the charts is on it's also on this album but i do believe that zombie boy would probably be adding to the overall success of what mayhem may end up becoming which is one of lady gaga's best albums of all time which if you don't know it's essentially a blasphemous statement for old time old timer Lady Gaga fans. But for me, looking at her impact on the charts, I mean, it's 20 years later since she started putting out music, and she's still having arguably one of the most successful
Starting point is 00:03:41 tracks in the world with Die With a Smile. So I think there's an argument to be made, and I can't wait to see how people take this track and take in the album. So with that being said, click my link, in my bio, let me know one of my social media. What do you think about zombie boy by Lady Gaga, track number eight off of mayhem and if you've listened to the album what is your favorite track so far
