Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, of course, we're getting into the country field. I've covered a plethora of country artists, but of course, this is my first time covering Lainey Wilson. Now, of course, when it comes to Lainey Wilson and her impact on the masses, four by four by you? Is that how you say it? Four by four by you? I don't know. This X is in between the four by fours. So I think it's four by four.

Starting point is 00:00:27 But if it's not four by four, then it's four times four times you. And then that's just a mathematical equation that I can't solve. right so with that being said let's get back to the track it's currently the 50th 50th most played track in the world and it's been on the charts for about 14 weeks now of course the peak position was the 45th most played track in the world but currently it's the 50th now with that being said there's a lot of backstory that goes into laney wilson's track four by four right so she announced her engagement to NFL quarterback devlin duck hodges i've never heard of them but once again i don't watch football and i don't really watch sports like that so

Starting point is 00:01:03 So I don't know who that is. But anyways, she basically announced this. The world went crazy because, of course, currently, when you have one of the biggest tracks in the world, then you announce your engagement. Obviously, a lot of people are, and this is another thing people don't talk about. As far as parosocial relationships, especially with influencers and who they're dealing with, is very weird. It could get to very weird elements where people are trying to date the influencer that they like. So they basically send negative energy towards a significant other no matter what the situation is, right? So that's just all I'm going to say about that because it happens way too often for me not to point it out.

Starting point is 00:01:44 So these parosocial relationships where influences have to stop. You are not in a relationship with these influences. If they want to mess around with other people, they can. I don't know why I got to say that, but it happens way too often. So just want to speak on that. Anyways, as far as Devlin Duck Hodges, the NFL quarterback, he plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers and L.A. Rams. Well, he can't play for two teams. So they say he's the former quarterback for Pittsburgh Steelers and L.A. Ram.

Starting point is 00:02:11 So I think he's retired. I have no idea. Like I said, I don't watch football. Play college. Nobody cares about him. All right. So, Wileney Wilson, she has a 4-by-4 track that's going insane on the charts. And her latest project is Nice to Meet You, which released...

Starting point is 00:02:28 When is this coming? out. Where's the release date? This released, it was a single, released Friday. Oh, was it released today? I think it was released today. Why does DSPs not show the actual,

Starting point is 00:02:42 maybe it's because of my Android. You know, androids be tripping. Hold on, let me go to my phone. All right. So, Laney Wilson, and she has a project out currently. So if you're a Lainey Wilson fan, then you definitely have something to look forward to as,

Starting point is 00:02:56 why is it so hard to pull this up? Okay. So nice to meet you came out February 14th, 25. Okay, yeah, because it's February 21st. So I don't know why Android. Android would be tripping with the Spotify app. But anyways, yeah, so February 14, 2025 is when nice to meet you came out. Basically is a Miles Smith project, it seems like, because nice to meet you obviously has Lainty Wilson on it.

Starting point is 00:03:24 But then there's a nice to meet you version with only Miles Smith. And then there's an acoustic version with a Miles Smith. But then the other thing to realize is that when it comes to Lainey Wilson, she actually has, let me see if I can find this. She actually has a track as well that's a live version of 4x4 and that came out November 22nd, 2024. So not only is the regular, you know, immensely popular and successful track 4x4 out, but she also has a live version out, which I don't know about you all, but usually when I see a live version

Starting point is 00:04:00 that ultimately tells me that maybe this person is pretty good at performing because a lot of artists, when they go on that stage, the live stage, it doesn't sound the same as you hear it on DSPs, right? Now, for Lainey Wilson to put out a live version, I would have to assume that maybe she's a great live perform because who would put the live version out if it wasn't even comparable to the previous mixed and mastered version, right? So anyways, with this being said, this is really not too much to get into with Lenton. Lany Wilson, I just noticed that she's one of the artists as far as in the country realm that I haven't covered.

Starting point is 00:04:34 If you don't know, I cover a lot of country artists. And when I say a lot, I mean, a lot, basically the entire field. So when it comes to Lainey, hopefully she could find herself another hit because, of course, when it comes to having a hit so successful like this. And then, of course, when you're looking at her latest project, which is basically another single with Miles Smith that came out February 14th, 2025, I don't see. that on our charts and one thing i have to say about that is just because you sell a lot does not mean you make high quality but of course if you don't sell anything or if you don't sell at all it doesn't

Starting point is 00:05:11 mean that you're making just atrocious music usually it's basically a litmus scale for consumption and sometimes the two don't correlate as far as high quality and high sales or low quality and low sales right most times they don't correlate so anyways um but that being said i think will lany Wilson has currently going for her is very pivotal for the future of her career. Hopefully she can use this four by four to basically catapult her next project or maybe next single because nice to meet you does not seem like it's going to have that amount of success on the charts. But you never know, I guess. I mean, I guess it could blow up on TikTok like weeks or months later and then rise on the charts. But currently, hopefully she can use four by four to catapult something
