Starting point is 00:00:04 Now, the biggest fact as far as Leon Thomas that I keep seeing completely glossed over is him being signed to Thai Dollar Sign's label, EZMNY Records. Because of course, when it comes to Ty Dollar Sign, we know for him being attached to, well, recently we know of him with his attachment and involvement and a Kanye album as far as Voltures 1. too but now when you look at it and you see that he has signed a musician as talented as leon thomas because we're not even talking about music if you know you know but if you don't know now i got list out the achievements because this man not only is he talented in the musical field but when it came to acting we all know him from the backyard against now i know you's going to think i know you thought i was going to say another show but technically this man gave his singing talents to the backyard against for a character titled, wait for it, Tyrone.
Starting point is 00:01:12 But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? Now, all jokes aside, that is the most hilarious character to start off with as far as in the Nickelodeon scene because they looked at you and it was like, you know what? You're going to play this character named Tyrone. I mean, goodness. I mean, talk about typecasting.
Starting point is 00:01:32 Anyways, so obviously, y'all know him from Victorious as he played a lot of different roles as far as when I Carly and Victorious crossed over as when he was acting in Victorious, he also played Andre Harris, right? And Victorious from 2010 to 2013 earning an N-A-A-C-E-Eage Award nomination for outstanding performance in a youth. slash children's program in 2012. I bet y'all ain't know that. You know what I'm saying? So that being said, he also guest started as Harper in I Carly episode,
Starting point is 00:02:13 I Carly Save TV. And also he ended up appearing in the Victorious and Icarly collab crossover as far as I party with victorious. Straight classics, by the way. But of course, people thought I was going to start with that because they didn't know that he played
Starting point is 00:02:27 or he started out as Tyrone from the backyard against. Y'all go back to the backyard against listen to that fire theme song. I can't play it because I'm not trying to get copyrighted. But one of the most classic theme song introductions to a kid's show is owned by the backyard against. And guess who is a part of that? Now, you notice how I've talked about this man's phenomenal career and I haven't even gotten
Starting point is 00:02:50 to one of the most pivotal songs of 2025 that's also executed and performed by Leon Thomas. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Mutt is the 20th. first most played track in the world it's been on the charts about 10 weeks and guess who's the artist for that particular track leon thomas so not only is his man in multiple different lanes as far as entertainment completely killing it on the scene but he's also in the music field killing it which is why i wanted to double back and talk about mutt featuring chris brown as far as the remix now i know what you're already saying a lot of people are throwing the popcorn at the screen or if you listen if you're listening on your mobile device you probably just threw your mobile device across the room because if you're up if you're an up-and-coming artist and have any sort of involvement with chris brown guess what now chris brown's entire past is put on you like you did that act right every time you make music with chris brown if you're a musician all of chris brown's deadly sins in his past get put on to you right and it's very unfair but that's what it is
Starting point is 00:03:58 as far as Leon Thomas choosing Chris Brown to be on the remix for Mutt, which is his most successful track ever in Leon Thomas' musical career. Because if you don't know, he actually started in Broadway back in 2003 when he played young Simba as far as in the Lion King at age 10. Nobody knew that, right? So he's been around for quite some time. And with most successful track being Mutt, now you're going to use this huge spotlight on you
Starting point is 00:04:28 to have chris brown on the remix you already know how i feel about chris brown i call that man the most talented human i've ever seen in the entertainment history so that being said i think christ brown was a perfect choice for the remix and of course when he put chris brown on the remix it boosted visibility because i don't know if y'all know but statistically speaking and objectively speaking chris brown was the most streamed rm b male artist because of course rnb in general, Siza still holds that title to this day. The top streamed male R&B artist was owned by Chris Brown, objectively speaking, at the Billboard Music Awards. So having Chris Brown on this single seems like an analytical play because, of course, if he's the best performing R&B act, you're making R&B type music, put out an R&B album that's critically acclaimed and your most successful R&B track ever, you're probably thinking you can get any and everybody.
Starting point is 00:05:29 to be on the remix, who are you going to go with? Of course, Chris Brown. I mean, I guess he could have went with Siza. Maybe she ain't answered the phone. Nobody knows. So with that being said, I do believe Siza gave him a shout out back when he was grinding as far as his musical career. I think it was lately that Siza came out and supported him as far as, I forget what's track it was.
Starting point is 00:05:53 Because if you don't know, he also does a lot of songwriting, right? He co-produced and co-wrote a lot of track. for ariana grande back in 2013 um i'm not going to talk about how he was on victorious throughout 2010 and 2013 and somebody else was also on victoria's may have been or may or may may not be arianda grande maybe that's when she started her hole in anyways you know what i mean this is a lot of rabbit holes a lot of rabbit holes we could go down but let's just stick to music so anyways back to leon thomas this man has a lot of involvement with ariana grande they helping her out on a lot of different vs and other things as co-writing,
Starting point is 00:06:30 co-producing as far as tracks musically for Ariana Grande's yours truly back in 2013, right? He also co-wrote on Drake's certified level boy. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Drake had Leon Thomas in the OVO sweatshop. I mean, come on now. I'm like, damn, look at the state of hip-hop. Like, what's going on? The OVO sweatshop gets more and more just prestigious. We just, the more people we find out, I mean, we got Quentin Miller, we got Leon Thomas,
Starting point is 00:07:00 we got party next door. All right, my fault. Let me stop before the OVO vans pull up. All right, so also, when it comes to Leon Thomas, I could go on and on about his talent in general. I just want to make this segment just showcasing that this man has been out of, been added for quite some time and now is all cultivating into his most popular track ever, which is mutt, which is currently the 21st.
Starting point is 00:07:25 most play track in the world and of course adding chris brown to the remix not only helped out the track quality wise but also on the objective scale it helped out analytically as people forget chris brown was the top male r and b artists streamed as far as last year so that being said click my link tree in my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about leon thomas's album mutt and also what do you think about the particular track mutt that is his most successful track in the music industry ever and also what is your biggest moment or takeaway from leon thomas's career and what moment from his acting or musical career stuck with you the most
