Starting point is 00:00:00 One of the biggest things you need to know when it comes to Little Dicky is that the biggest thing with I'm drunk as far as track 15 off a penis. It's similar to a lot of tracks off of his project where you're not supposed to take it as serious, right? It's a comedic take on rap, which some think is blasphemous, of course, because Little Dickie's white. But disregarding that fact, which is hard to disregard. But, hey, disregarding that fact, I think he approaches it from such a lyrical, above average standpoint that you kind of have to let it slide because he's not putting forth lack it's not for lack of effort you know if anything people will get turned off by the subject matter and how unique subjects get brought up on this soundtrack but particular well particularly with
Starting point is 00:00:53 this track right track 15 i'm drunk off of the dave soundtrack that's out now on our all DSPs. As you can see, this track is not to be taken seriously. I mean, he's talking about certain things while he's giving a, I'm not going to say a lyrical exercise. Let's just say that he's putting some words together and it's pretty fire. But when you get to the chorus, obviously you get to, I'm drunk, I'm drunk. I'm really, really drunk.
Starting point is 00:01:25 I'm drunk. I'm really, really wasted. And, you know, for some people, that's not it. So for me, I would probably say that because I've been a Dave, aka a little Dickie fan, pause, for quite some time, I would say that I give him the benefit of the doubt because if you've never listened to a professional rapper, then that will probably lead you to completely disregard in the soundtrack.
Starting point is 00:01:49 But professional rapper is probably one of the better projects I've heard in the past probably five to 10 years. And when I say that, I mean it. when um oh i had to make sure yeah so it came out 2015 so technically in the past 10 years is one of my favorite albums and the reason i like it is it's simply for the fact that he approached it more from a rapper standpoint but also the comedic this soundtrack is more comedic than him trying to make regular rap songs and what i mean by that is a track saved that money off a professional rapper is a hip-hop song, but it's a very comedic, a very comedic message throughout the entire track.
Starting point is 00:02:31 I mean, he literally stops one of the verses because they're not staying on subject about saving money. Because, you know, the hip-hop trinity of topics, which is women, clothes and money, right? I don't think I said it right. But you get it, right? The holy trinity of topics when it comes to rapping. And for Little Dicky to touch on some of the subjects that he touches on, it's very interesting as not every artist would even attempt to pull that off.
Starting point is 00:02:59 So obviously with I'm Drunk, Track 15 off of the soundtrack, it's produced by Benny Blanco, Kashmir, and somebody else. Let me see. And Stan Lane. I don't know who that is, but hey, no disrespect to that man or woman. Yeah, so that's basically it. So the biggest thing that you need to know for I'm drunk is specific tracks I'm going to cover off of this album,
Starting point is 00:03:22 simply for the fact that I think their standouts and I think it's going to gravitate when it comes to the masses. But hey, at the end of the day, that's really y'all's call as majority usually rules when it comes to billboard charts. Well, always rules when it comes to billboard charts. Unless you're using bots, you know, like, anyway, let me just say six, not.
Starting point is 00:03:43 Anyways, so anyways, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about the track? I'm drunk by Little Dickie. And also, if you've listened to the soundtrack, What currently is your favorite track?
