I say this with the utmost sincerity.
I am the next Kanye West.
Except I'm white.
Your rap name is literally a small penis joke.
It's actually a super intellectual commentary on hypermasculity.
You got to understand, I've always felt like I was the biggest star on the planet.
We only just got anybody in the spot right now.
We got Lil Dickie in here.
He's one of the best new rappers in the game.
That's what I'm saying.
I'm trying to figure it out.
I don't even know what this thing is yet.
What Little Dickie is?
He a legend, bro.
H-U-T-T-G.
Go, let's go, maybe we're going straight to the mountain top,
Mel Rushmore type shit.
I don't know, man.
I feel like there's like a deeper level of artistry that I could tap into.
You have a loathing for where you come from,
but a fear that it's all you have.
Yeah.
Now, of course, it's left up to me to cover a little dicky.
All the hip-hop blogs and talking heads have been speaking out about
Megan the Stallion versus Toy Lane's,
young thug,
name meaning truly humble under God.
They even had time to talk about T.I. choking out his younger son.
But of course, when Little Dickie puts out a whole announcement talking about a soundtrack
released because of his hit show Dave, it's all crickets.
Literally, I cannot find anything about this album.
So here I am to break it down in its entirety because apparently nobody wants to talk about Little Dicky.
Like what about Little Dickie makes someone not want to cover them, right?
In the grand scheme of hip hop and of course the different mantras that we abide by,
what in the world did Little Dickie do to our core foundation of hip hop to not get covered like this?
Now, obviously, I'm being a little tongue in cheek, pause.
But the biggest thing I do want to point out is that Dave,
aka Little Dickie, so now I'm going to call him Dave,
is putting out a new soundtrack based off of the show Dave.
Literally is titled after his name, which is pretty on the nose.
But hey, if Joe Button can do it, I guess Little Dickie can too.
So P-Neth, if you don't know, was from,
was teased in the first season, I believe, when he was working on an album.
Second season was more of him putting out another album, I think, something like that.
And then the third season was him touring his successful album like he made it.
So first season, he was trying to become a rapper.
Second season, he was a rapper making.
I think Peaneth was teased in the second season.
And then third season was basically him and stardom land.
He'd have made it as a rapper.
You had all type of cameos, including like Brad Pitt, even Drake.
showed up at the end and yes the goat arbor ground can never say my goat is not in touch but anyways um
with that being said i think that this move by dave is a pretty strategic one because people are
going to think that peoneth means that he's actually putting out a new album when in all actuality
i just think that this is just going to be a soundtrack and captivating all of the songs that he's made
throughout the series because he has been rapping technically throughout the whole series
so he has been putting out tracks and tidbits
in each and every episode.
But one of the biggest things I thought about
and then quickly took back was maybe season three
didn't hit like that, so now he wants to come back to rap.
Like, oh, no, don't get your show canceled
or not renewed for a season four
because technically three seasons is already a successful show
if I do say so myself.
But a fourth season, if you get a season,
And if you get canceled, don't try to come back to hip hop because now you didn't use hip hop as the jumping golf platform to go into actor lane, right?
It's kind of like when Tyrese did the R&B and then he wanted to do the Transformer movies.
Like obviously it's a little different because Tyrese gave us a little bit more as far as the discography, a body of work.
But with Little Dickie going from making music bag to acting bag is a little different and best believe me, every actor.
openly talks about how different that bag is if they used to make music.
I mean, from the likes of Ludacris, 50 Cent still ain't made a new album.
I mean, the last time he made music was when he co-produced the pop smoke album.
But obviously, I don't have to sit here and tell you that actors' bags are way bigger than hip-hop bags.
I don't have to tell you that, right?
So anyways, Dave basically used his first album, Professional Rapper,
which I think came out in 2014, 2015, 2015,
jump off into what he really wanted to do as far as being the actor and granted he still kept
the appeal of being a hip-hop artist and not like he completely disbanded his fans as far as like
leaving little dicky in the past he brings up little dicky all the time calls himself that on the show
as a rapper is a real introspective parody of his rap career in television format so the show
it's phenomenal.
That's a thing that did not want to leave out.
It's available on FX and Hulu.
Obviously, this ain't promo.
I'm just letting you know that if nobody in the hip-hop space is going to cover Little Dickie,
it's almost like nobody wants to touch on Little Dickie when it comes to information.
You know what I mean?
So leave it to me to touch on Little Dickie as far as information because obviously somebody has to do it.
All right.
So with that being said, um, season four, of course, is expected.
to be renewed, all jokes aside.
And it's supposed to come out like early mid-2025 based on the strike and make it postponed.
If you don't know, all actors went on strike.
I've covered that.
Just look up SAG-A after analytic dreams and the ship pop-up or WGA analytic dreams.
I covered that in its entirety as far as a strike.
It was a huge deal, but now they're back to work.
So season four is probably going to come out soon, which is why he's even probably now
promoting the soundtrack, because if you don't know, he's an actor.
so he was probably affected and probably couldn't promote so this probably should have been out
but because of the acting strike maybe he wasn't able to put it out because technically
that's promoting his show Dave now I don't want to spend too much time on little dicky so
let's just move on and wrap up the segment right penith pre-save goes live December 15th
and the mr. McAdam song which you heard in the show
will be available on all DSPs at midnight.
So with that being said,
hopefully y'all listen to a little,
uh,
little Dickie in your life.
And just know that in the future,
whenever Lil Dickie puts out music,
it's okay to touch on it
and give our information to the public.
With that,
and with that being said,
all right, I'm done.
With that being said,
click my link to you in my bio,
let me know one of my social medias.
What do you think about Dave,
aka little Dickie putting out his album soundtrack for his show title penith and will you be giving it a listen
