Starting point is 00:00:04 I just want to know who lied because I kept hearing that this man's album was going to be called Love Songs for the Streets. Three, mind you. Love Songs for the Streets three. But Little Dirk came out himself and said, Deep Thoughts is the actual album title and it's coming out October 18th for the people for the trenches smirk is back pre-order link and bio so for people who wanted to pre-order dirk's music just know you can do that right now so you know as far as the lying aspect of everything let's just focus on the actual facts which is him having a track out titled monitoring me which is um very interesting right little dirk is one of the few musicians that can talk his talk and nobody says anything about it being repetitive because it's actually
Starting point is 00:01:07 his life. It's almost the the baby effect, even though Little Dirk came out before the baby. So many real life activities, I mean, you would have thought it was out of a video game because having a attempted home invasion and shooting it out with the people who invaded, your home with you and your girlfriend in it and y'all are going back and forth as far as sending bullets at one another you would have thought it was a video game script for gta come to find out it's a real life event that you can look up on the internet and see for yourself so when little dirk talks about these violent activities that include a lot of weaponry a lot of shooting and a lot of just senseless violence, people give him more of a past because it's actually
Starting point is 00:02:04 his real life. Now, is it the most positive thing to do by giving this man a pass? No. But on the flip side, when he made a positive track, All My Life featuring Germain, he won a, what did he win a Grammy for? I don't know if he won't want a Grammy. Hold up. Let me see, all my life Jake, let me see, I'm typing Little Dirk Grammy. I think it won a Grammy. Yeah, okay. So Little Dirk won best melodic rap performance for all my life, which is a pivotal track in Little Dirk's discography for the simple fact that he switched
Starting point is 00:02:47 up his subject matter in a more positive light. So when the Grammy recognizes him and not only recognizes him, because they could have stopped at a nomination, that would have been good enough for artists like little dirt they gave him an actual win for the track all my life to the point where now you see little dirk making a new track which i'm not going to say it's like a it's not like a i'm not going to say you're trying to replicate what all my life is but it kind of seems like that as rumored the rumors are quote unquote and most of the rumors have been wrong that i've been seeing is there there's a specific track titled discontinuing walk
Starting point is 00:03:26 heart with the goat. I don't even need to say his name because you already know who the goat is, right? So when he's making this track with the goat and it's called discontinuing walkheart and is seemingly pushing a more positive message that has another giant as far as in the hip hop realm on the track when it comes to Drake, then you realize that he may be having another Grammy-like track and type of quality level output on this project. That's the only reason I'm talking about how pivotal it is for artists like Little Dirk to change up to subject matter because I will continuously say that drill is one of the
Starting point is 00:04:13 most detrimental subgenres in hip-hop. Actually, it may be one of the most detrimental subgenres. subgenres and music period. The whole premise of drill is talking about violence and glorifying it to the point where you, you basically celebrate the demise of certain people, of your ops more specifically. So, and for people who say, oh, no, it's not a drill, you know, started with Chief Keefe. And, you know, they, they just talking about their life. I'm talking about people out here talking about who I smoke and those people had nothing to do with that situation but they glorifying the passing of multiple individuals.
Starting point is 00:05:00 So anyways, uh, Little Dirk. Little Dirk has a track titled Monitoring Me and I would say it's more of the same, but just when I thought it was more of the same, he does switch it up enough to make it a serviceable track. It's definitely not great. It's solid. I like Little Dirk's patent delivery of how he gets across his message. As far as the things he says, it seems very intentional. I don't know if he writes his music. I don't know if he has a ghost writer, right?
Starting point is 00:05:32 But the way that he raps, the way that he wraps and puts words together, it seems very intentional because, of course, with drill rappers, they do to regurgitate it, spin the block, kill them, switch lingo that everybody uses. with Dirk, there's specific sentiments that he's saying in the tracks that I feel like is like real actual things that you can correlate with certain events that's been going on, especially on the internet. I'm not going to get messy, so I'm not going to touch on it. But let's just say, I think Dirk actually, I wouldn't be surprised if he has like a,
Starting point is 00:06:06 not diary, right? I'm not trying to play him. But if he has some sort of documentation for when he gets to the studio, he's rapping and crossing off the list of men. mentioning those certain things, right? Because it just seems very intentional. That's why I gave his, you know, continuous flow more of a past because the things he's saying seems to be more intentional.
Starting point is 00:06:27 So anyways, I'm excited for this album. I'm getting into the alleged track listing because it was already wrong. I don't even know if there was wrong with the title. Maybe Little Dirk was just like, I don't want to completely name it something that was already leaked because apparently, well, we're about to get into that in a second, but it was supposed to be called love songs for the streets three and that was based on rumors right just no facts to back it up everybody was just like oh this is the track listing so that's what we're about to get into right now so as far as this specific track with monitoring me click my link to my bio
Starting point is 00:07:03 let me know one of my social medias what do you think about the specific track monitoring me and and little dirk's overall lead up to this album that's now titled and you know officially titled deep thoughts how are you enjoy what is what is the most enjoyable part of little dirk's rollout
