Now when it comes to 2024, if you're not as familiar with Little Dirk, it's because of his activity not being as frequent compared to 2023. Because 2024, you had his appearance off of the 21 Savage album on the track Dangerous. Then you had old days that came out in February 23rd. 24 and with little dirk being or having a grammy it's very apparent that all my life i believe that was the song with j cole let me see all my life yeah so all my life featuring j cole was a very pivotal track because it's the first time little dirt was acknowledged on the grand scale and it was a positive track that he

Starting point is 00:01:06 was acknowledged for it so I think that was very pivotal in his career as if the only successful chart topping music from little dirt continued to be drill music I think his career would have been in jeopardy but because of that all my life track and the themes of that track being very positive is a lot of directions little dirt can go now uh can go with his uh album now as far as direction wise so when you say went hollywood for a year which is under alamo records it's definitely a reflection on this year as far as little dirk it's more of a reflective track than i thought we would have gotten from little dirt so in that aspect his past 18 months which goes into 2023 as long as as well as this year it's very interesting because the music video

Starting point is 00:02:05 was shot during father's day and he was with his children and it was a heartfelt moment and honestly throughout the track so with that and it also going viral on social media you come to realize that little dirk is now leaning more into positive type music now of course does he have his extendo switch spin the block type lyrics I mean that's always going to be there but as far as being acknowledged for something positive I think this is a great direction for LeBron or not LeBron for a little Dirk and the reason I said LeBron is for my next point I was going into little Dirk for some reason feels like he has the funds to put

Starting point is 00:02:55 LeBron James on Chicago Bulls. Now, let me tell every rapper this, you probably can't afford an NBA salary. Let's just put it bluntly. Like, unless you want to fund Brony James, I want to think of any NBA player's salary you can 100% pay for it because it's not going to happen. So the reason I said that is because Little Dirk sent a direct message to LeBron saying that he would pay to have. him and brawny join the bulls now i just want you all to do a quick google source with me lebron

Starting point is 00:03:33 james let's just do net worth right all right 1.1 billion with a b all right so let's do little dirk net worth and this is not the clown little dirk of course because he gets he gets a lot of money in this music thing right but little dirk's net worth is 8 million lebrons is 1.1 billion So of course, just like the internet does, you know, unsurprisingly, clown little dirt saying that he does not have the capacity to take care of LeBron's salary, which it was just one of those shot in the dark type things to have some type of chance to acquire LeBron James. Even though it was a shot from, you know what, it was still one of the biggest. uh mainstream news topics because little dirt came out he was like hey i'll just pay for lebron salary and then the world told him like my brother you can't afford that so with brawny being drafted to the lakers of course it's one of those things to where music artists basketball has a lot of

Starting point is 00:04:48 correlations as far as the influence uh the influences and inspirations to one another so i'm glad to see had to cross over again in that aspect but as far as the actual totality of what he was saying he was just he was just talking like he must have had a podcast coming suit because that man was just talking because uh eight million compared to 1.1 billion you know that's a slight difference you know what i mean i'm not the greatest mathematician but it's a slight difference in that network so with that being said he has a new track out now called went Hollywood for a year and we'll see what this ends up doing on the charts. I believe Little Dirk has not been on the charts this entire year,

But as far as hip-hop artists making the charts, it's been mostly women artists, and then, of course, with the whole beef, Kendrick and Drake, and then Tommy Richman, if you consider him hip-hop.
