Starting point is 00:00:04 Now, I ain't trying to add no pressure for you, but I'm just trying to let you know that when it comes to Little Teca, this track, Dark Thoughts, is immaculate. As far as the chorus, as far as the verses, this song is phenomenal. Now, of course, I didn't get to this track last week because we all know who dropped. Playbricardi took up the entire, it like vacuumed all the attention from the rest of the musicians, especially in hip-hop, right? So whenever I'm talking about Little Tekka, let's just, you know, put on Front Street that I believe Dark Thoughts is probably better than any song off of Playboy Cardi's album. Now, Little Teca is a chorus machine. This man's melodies is on Cloud 9. I really enjoy the way this man puts melodies together.
Starting point is 00:00:56 And essentially, the replayability. when it comes to little teca's discography is at a high level now of course when it comes to quality wise i think his subject matter could talk about a lot of things in his life i think he's that type of artist where he could really get into the introspective nature of his life right but his subject matter is very i'm not going to say a surface level but it's not as complex you know you listen to it the first time you're probably going to get the entire meaning of the track but replay value that is at a high clip to the point where when it comes to the overall projections of the charts so midweek billboard hot 100 predictions as far as march 29th is considered right it has
Starting point is 00:01:51 dark thoughts actually charting at the 4 at 40 not so as projected to chart as the 49th most listen to track in the world. Now, of course, this is subjected to change, right? But this is directly from Billboard as far as the predictions based off analytics and things of that nature. So it seems as if this track is going to be a bona fide hit. Now, when it comes to little techer, he's obviously used to having hits in the past. I mean, when you put out ransom, which is a seven-time platinum hit back in 2019. And currently it's 2025 right and this man is still putting out immaculum music with tremendous choruses i can't give enough credit to the way he consistently comes with infectious choruses in his
Starting point is 00:02:39 music now subject matters another thing replayability i think is his his uh biggest um weapon when it comes to deliver music now i do believe when it comes to dark thoughts i was listening to the track i'm like hold on now this seems oddly familiar and and mind you you. I'm 25 going on 80. So that being saying, I had to think back to my rolodex of albums played by my dad, right? And I was like, hold on now. And
Starting point is 00:03:10 I looked into it because obviously I do my research over here. And this track samples Farrell and Jay-Z's frontin from 2003. Now, how in the Michael Jackson, did he get that clear? If y'all don't know, Jay-Z and Farrell, it's probably some of the most prominent
Starting point is 00:03:26 icons living in the music industry. To get a sample, from them is one thing. To get the fronten sample is a whole other. And of course it was produced by Lucas Scarf and blending the R&B and hip-hop elements. Now you have a
Starting point is 00:03:42 bona fide hit in my opinion. So Little Teca putting this out already having a phenomenal chorus and a catchy chorus, mind you. And then adding on to the fact that he's using samples from Farrell and Jay-Z's fronten, this track
Starting point is 00:03:58 is straight-up phenomenal. Now of course, I'm not going over the top. I'm not saying it's like one of my favorites of 2025. I'm saying that it's a very phenomenal track and it's a standout. It's not ranking in my top five, top ten, because once again, I don't want to compare them to any other artists because I'm not trying to create any beef. But as far as Little Teca, this track is phenomenal. That's why I just want to let y'all know. So if you've been sleeping on this track, then I'm not trying to add no pressure for you, but hey, you better get into the track because this track is phenomenal. Anyways, Um, the future
Starting point is 00:04:32 involvements of Little Teca, I believe he may be leading up to an album, but I don't know that for certain. I believe this single could be leading up to an album, like I was saying, but, um, if it's just leading up to an EP or a mixtape, I'm just glad that we got this single in totality,
Starting point is 00:04:50 because it's when, when he put out the snippet, everybody realized that hold up. Loteca got one. So, uh, for it to be predicted to have a slot at, 49 as far as the 49th most played track in the world as far as what billboard is predicting
Starting point is 00:05:04 I would be interested to see if that comes into fruition but more importantly I want to hear from little tech offense click my link stream my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think will happen to this track dark thoughts and do you think will ultimately become a smash hit on the charts maybe entering the top 15 or the top 10
