When speaking on little teka, I've already covered his innate ability to be able to make fantastic melodies.
But now, I kind of want to cover more of the behind the scenes going into the dopamine album.
Because if you don't know, Taz Taylor has a lot of production credits for this particular album, which is Internet Money.
Of course, then you have Rio Lava, hopefully I'm saying.
This person's name right.
that's um this person's also from internet money and then you have clams casino so that's the that is
the production credits for dopamine obviously we don't know if that's all of the producers but that's the
producer so far and then you have with the rest of the album of course we're following the successful
singles such as dark dots such as oha oa you would be correct to understand well correct to assume
that this album would be high quality because after oha oa after dark
thoughts you could kind of get a inclination of what the sound is going to be as far as the overall
path and trajectory of dopamine and let's just say this 17 track album 41 minutes in length i believe
delivers as far as little teka giving you a body of work that a lot of people are going to be
gravitating to not only for its infection sounds especially from a melodic standpoint but other than that
him getting away from popular samples as far as dark
thoughts and oha oa and being able to stand on his own and still be able to make a phenomenal track
because that was my first critique i was like how are you going to be able to make these phenomenal
tracks outside of popular samples because i haven't heard it yet outside of um yeah i haven't heard it
yet because of dark dots and oa oa having popular samples throughout the entire track but
with this album he definitely proved that he can make solid tracks even without a popular sample
so um that's a very uh that was a very pivotal thing for me as far as if i was going to like the album or not
because sometimes you listen to a track it could be absolutely but not garbage but if you have a popular
sample playing over and over throughout your track i mean prime example i used was uh jack harlowe's first
class the whole first class and the fergy sample going over and over throughout the track i mean you
basically already like that track from fergie so now you're hearing it over and over the nostalgia
factor is kicking in it's like a dopamine hit right you're like oh i already like this track whole time
it's a whole new track you're just listening to the sample over and over right so i wanted to see how little
teka would be able to perform outside of dark thoughts and oha oha and safe to say he definitely
delivered as far as his album dopamine so when it comes to his overall success as far as what people
are gravitating to uh torres currently seems like sure of it and half the plot is seemingly going to be some of the
hits from little teka and then of course if you don't know he's under umg umg currently has 60
of the entire music market share which basically showcases that they are definitely the top dogs
in the music industry so when little teca ends up making a charts because his first two singles was
in the top 50 right um oa oa is currently the 50th most play a single in the world dark dots is
currently the 53 most plays single in the world and uh well i keep saying single i mean track right
So Dark Doss is the 53 most played track in the world.
That's been on the charts for about 12 weeks.
Then you have Owa Oa, that's been, that is the 50th most played track.
That's been on the charts for one week.
Essentially speaking, he has bona fide hits off of this album already.
So we don't even know what's going to be the third, fourth, the fifth track that blows up from this album.
But we already know that it's a success from objective metric because like I said in my gunner coverage with shameless plug,
my gunner coverage as far as me covering his single.
won't stop is out now just type in gunna analytic dreams with a z and the should pop up but essentially
speaking when i talk about young thug and the way he came out of prison and the hype around it
and then for him to put out a phenomenal track in my opinion with future hendricks title money on
money for it to debut as a 70th 80th most played track in the world and then completely fall off the charts
she showcased why i'm giving so much high praise of little teca because he's putting up numbers
that showcases that dopamine is set to be a phenomenal outing as far as first week sales
because OA OA out the gate is the 50th most played track in the world.
Keep in mind, when young thug put out his money on money track with Future,
it was like the 70th most played track in the world,
which, of course, that's always successful for any musician,
but we're comparing superstars and stars in the game.
We're not comparing regular artists or underground artists.
If an underground artist debuts the 90th most played track in the world, that's a huge success.
We're talking about Young Thug, we're talking about Little Teca, people who have star power in the hip hop game.
So that's why I talk about Little Teca having a bona fide and objective hit with Dark Dots and Oa Oa,
because Young Thug is trying to replicate his own success as far as singles being released, and he can't seem to find it.
And very surprisingly, I might add, because when he came out, I thought he was going to go crazy.
similar to how gunner went crazy with a gift and a curse when he came out of prison but safe to
say um it's been a curse and not a gift for young thug as he's been putting out singles and not really
performing objectively speaking but quality wise i think is there so um that's a very interesting
and complex scenario for him to find out and so uh for him to figure out but for little teca seems
like he hasn't figured out so with that being saying click my link sure in my bio let me know on one of
my social medias what do you think about little teca's latest album dopamine and
And if you've already listened to the album dopamine by Lotech from Lotechco, what is your favorite track off of the album?
