Starting point is 00:00:00 Boy, oh boy, do we have a problem. No, I'm not going to lie. I was wondering what a little tech hasn't been put out on music. After looking up his sales, I completely understand. Not only do I understand, after looking up his label, Republic Records a Division of Universal Music Group Recordance. Now, if y'all are not familiar, that is the big bad wolf of the music industry. So only the top of the top gets signed to Republic.
Starting point is 00:00:30 a division of UMG. Usually you have to be one of the more popular artists to even get signed to that type of label. So at first, I'm very interested to see how he did it as he's never even cracked 100,000 sales first week. And not only that, but his last album in 2021 was sold a whopping 30,000. So we love you, TECA, 2019, 68,000 in first week,
Starting point is 00:00:58 Virgo World, 2020, 35,000 first week. We love Uteca to 2021, 30,000 first week. To say his sales are declining over time is an understatement. To be under Republic UMG recordings, that's not going to, that's not going to fly. So I understand why he went on a huge hiatus and hasn't released the album since 2021. As you, if you notice his drop pattern, he was releasing every single year until he hit that 30,000 mark and then Universal Music Group is probably like, hold up now. He put out way too much music and ain't nobody listening. So we're going to need you to take some time to yourself, cook up some in the kitchen
Starting point is 00:01:37 and come back. So he's came back multiple times and putting out a lot of different singles. He probably not a lot, but he put out a lot of different singles like Fallen, Flowers, Let Let Love Go in 2020, which is like he was a feature on. I'm just talking about his activity. Put out faster in 2022. Tricia, 2022, Blessing, 2022. And then he's had, one, two, three, four.
Starting point is 00:02:06 He's had four singles in 2023. And I'm pretty sure none of them have stuck. Now, with statistical data out of the way, because you know, I do call myself analytic dreams, so I have to get into the numbers. At the end of the day, I like Little Teca's music. I feel like Little Teca is a very phenomenal artist. The music that he makes is on a quality level
Starting point is 00:02:26 that I think is above most artists nowadays out here making music. But the thing about it is a lot of people, well, most fans in hip hop are fickle. And once they saw Little Tecker image and also once they heard the genius interview, I think that Genius interview has dead irreversible damage to Little Tecka's career. As soon as he came out on Genius and said that his two twin clocks turned up to a dancer was just he just said it because it sounded good obviously that's not like a bad thing to say as an artist like if you're not about that life then why act like you are right it's just the perception and the reaction to that was in a way that made it okay and cool to clown little teka which i don't
Starting point is 00:03:12 think it's uh i don't think that's fair honestly looking at that uh interview it did irreversible damage to little teca's career not because he said anything wrong it was just the audience's reaction to it. And because, of course, you know, Ransom is his biggest track. I mean, by far, like, I think that track is about to be, I think it's already platinum. If it's not about to be a diamond. It's definitely platinum, I believe. But I think that's like on, I think Ransom by Luteka is on pace to be diamond.
Starting point is 00:03:43 If you don't know what diamond is, it's like 10 times of platinum. So, because if I had to go to Drake, I forget, once you hit a billion streams, I believe you're on pace for a diamond. Yeah, because one dance is at $2 billion. So that's like, yeah, I know that's been diamond. So in general, I do love Luteke as an artist. I'm definitely going to listen to the track. I'm probably going to enjoy the track.
Starting point is 00:04:06 But I had to get into the objective facts about it, his stats, and just how people look at him as an overall artist. You know, sometimes it doesn't connect. And in the case of Luteca, this is just another one of those unfortunate times where the image does not match the music, and a lot of people are starting to not listen because of it. So anyways, click my link tree in my bio. Let me know one of my social media is,
Starting point is 00:04:31 what do you think about Little Tech's new track with Kodak Black, titled Heaven on Earth, and it's titled HVN on Earth. So Heaven on Earth, and Codec Black is on it. Hopefully that helps them out. Codec Black is definitely a humongous artist in the game still. So, but at the end of day, click my link to you and my bio. Let me know one of my social media is. Will you be listening or giving this track a listen?
Starting point is 00:04:57 And also, what do you think is the reason for little tech has declined and popularity?
