Starting point is 00:00:00 Now you can't make you can't make this up. A track titled Stressed. And then the intro is by none other than Kalani. Talk about stress. This track must have been made specifically for the ears of Kyrie Irvin. But that's besides the point. Let's get into how little TJ and Summer Walker have come together once again after giving us that very exceptional track titled Moose Swings
Starting point is 00:00:31 off of the album Shoot for the Stars by Pop Smoke. That track was very fire, not going to lie, one of the, I think Lil' TJ in general really gets into that zone in a way that's above average. So whenever I listen to him give those type of choruses, I'm all in. Like I really enjoy when he gives like mood swings, calling my phone. When he gets into that singing bad with bag, where it's actually talking about love
Starting point is 00:01:01 and just different things of that nature, I really do think that's his best pocket. And not saying he can't rap or whatever, but I do like how he can switch it up. But anyways, that track, specifically, the first ever collab between Lil T.J. and Summer Walker, granted, it was on a pop smoke album, but still, it peaked at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100. And also, it spent 22 weeks on the charts. So it was definitely one of those type of tracks where It was pretty successful for a while. Certified Devil Platinum by the R.I.A., which if you don't know,
Starting point is 00:01:31 is the Recording Industry Association of America. And it was well received. I mean, the entire Pop Smoke album was well received. But we're talking about Lil T.J. So this specific track we're touching on today is titled Stress. And this is the second collaboration between Lil T.J. and Summer Walker. And the reason why that's so significant is because these two have never collaborated so on each other's projects.
Starting point is 00:01:57 Pots Smoke was the first time we ever seen these two artists together. So to see them together again for technically the first time on one of their respective albums, I'm very interested to hear the track. No, I haven't listened to it, but what I can tell you is
Starting point is 00:02:10 it's produced by KXVI. However you say that, it's probably some Roman numeral stuff. You know, once you get past the X's, hey, I don't even know what that mean. So anyways, produced by J beats and also lavish beats, K beats,
Starting point is 00:02:26 and Jehan Sweet. Man, they got all the beats to produce this. But anyways, um, what else? Yeah, so the song being called stress starting out with Kalani and itself
Starting point is 00:02:37 already has me intrigued. I just know this was the first time. I'm just, I'm gonna leave my boy alone. All that I need to know is that Kyrie is my favorite basketball player of all time. And so that should probably tell you why I'm harping on this,
Starting point is 00:02:48 uh, track title and the intro being by Kalani. And also, I think that little TJ, really was, I'm not going to say, I think it was really, the picks of the features was well thought out. Summer Walker, the killer Roy for singing tracks. Fabio Forrent, I haven't listened to it. I would guess is a rapping UK type beat. Jay to kiss, I would guess is a rapping type beat. You never know. He could be singing the hook. Young boy, that one threw me off. That's why I say you can never know because that was just straight singing.
Starting point is 00:03:29 quote, crooning, which I say for people who can't sing, they croon. So whatever. Then the track with Polo G, which is titled, Beat the Odds Part 2, which if you don't believe, I believe I beat the odds. Let me see. A little TJ. I'm trying to find out what I think Beat the Odds is one of his most successful songs. I'm not too sure.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Okay, it's not. Okay, calling my phone, like I said, you know, that picked the number three. That's his most successful song ever. but oh okay so this is interesting so the track with polo g let me pull this up right now i'm just gonna pull this up so y i can see what i'm looking at give me one second all right cool so the prology called beat the odds part two right you see right here i don't know if i can yeah here we go so beat the oz part two um that is interesting because he has another track which you definitely probably heard this it's titled pop out featuring polo g and that peaked at number 11 that piqued at number 11
Starting point is 00:04:40 on the billboard top 100. So I think he was like, hey, let's try to recreate magic. I don't know why. He didn't say that with Black. Maybe he was giving it a rest. Maybe he was like, hey, we already peaked at number three. I mean, how can we possibly top that track, you know? Not saying he can't because obviously there's two more spots to go up.
Starting point is 00:05:00 But peaking at number three for your most successful Billboard track of all time is pretty solid. it. So, also, he had mood swings, which, I mean, it was off the Pop Smoke album, so I don't know if you can really count that as his, but I mean, he's on it. So, hey, if I'm on the track, it's mine, too. So that peaked at number 17, which is his third most successful track. And a lot of these other tracks I've never heard. I mean, headshot with Polo G and Fabio for him. So he really has success. So I kind of understand the track listing. He split up Polo and Fabio. So that is two of, of the artists that he's had some of his most successful tracks with and now he has them respectively on the album by themselves because if you look go back to the album i'll go back to the album um let's see i'll go back to the album i think it's right here yeah that works all right so as you see he had his most successful tracks with polo g and uh five yo four entitled headshot everybody's heard hit shot. It was on the charts for like seven weeks
Starting point is 00:06:10 and in general Fabia Forren is on here. So he's on here once again, blah blah, which is, you know, such a unique title name, right? Like who would have came up with that? And then he has another track with a polo, of course, at the very end titled Beat the Odds Part 2. So of course
Starting point is 00:06:30 this is a 15-track album. A lot of music, a lot of music. Like I said, it was around, what, 46 minutes, I believe. He's obviously trying to go for first week sales. I'm pretty sure all of these artists are very disappointed to know that Taylor Swift drop because you're not getting a number one in Taylor Swift's second week. Like, it's not happening. Like, you're not outselling Taylor Swift.
Starting point is 00:06:54 So that's unfortunate. So Lil' TJ's probably trying to fight for that number two spot currently. And he's definitely going to be promoting this album like it's going out of style. But specifically, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know on one of my social medias. What do you think about the track by Little T.J. and Summer Walker for the first ever collab on their respective album titled Stress? And do you think it was fire or trash?
