Now, Uzi thinks he's slick.
Honestly, uploading your track under a producer is probably one of the most primitive ways I've seen be successful in the music industry.
And by that, I mean, when you're uploading a single, quote-unquote, because obviously I don't think this will end up on Uzi's album.
But the producer, Ghost Love Me, is the person that pops up as the artist for this track, even though it was Uzi's.
only performing over this track so hopefully that makes sense because loozy vert is an artist ghost
love me is a producer and at the end of the day when he's both when both of these musicians come together
and i've heard ghost love me is is powerful in his own right and by powerful i mean i don't want to throw that
word around but uh for the most part i mean he has a buzz by his uh producing talents of course
and he's worked with
Uzi in the past, I believe,
and this track that they just released
was called Fact.
Now, I feel like
I've heard this track before,
but if not, I feel like
maybe, just
maybe, actually,
I'm going on my first theory. I feel like this was
a leaked track, and
right off for Grammy Weekend, quote-unquote,
I feel like this release
will help Uzi in the fact that
I forget
it's this call. I just want to rock that
track. I mean, of course I know
the track, but I forget the exact title, because I think
it's pretty long. But anyways, the
calling that better than dreams and nightmares
by Meek Mill, as far as being the Philly
anthem, I don't know about all that. But at the end of the day,
Looseyvert did catch one with, I Just Want to Rock.
And with this new track
called Fact that released
today, is
showcasing
Uzi's ability to go back into his
comfortable
melodic bag
which is basically
rapping about nothing
like he's just
rapping about nothing like
I mean of course
I feel like the track is
it's
it's serviceable to his fan base
but as far as
the uniqueness of
I just want to rock
it's not really there
but I mean obviously you can't really
compare every little Uzi track
little Uzi vert track
to I just want to rock
because that's
technically a different genre.
The beats playing for most of the time,
I think it's more of like a dance type record
trying to captivate that audience
that doesn't really listen to lyrics as much
and just listens for the beat.
So I understand what Little Uzi Virt is coming from,
but with this new track called Fact,
is one of those where him and Ghost Love Me
are just producing a sound that we've heard time and time again
from Lil Uzi Virt.
But as far as his
core fan base,
I'm pretty sure
they would enjoy
Lil Uzi Vurt
putting out anything
at this moment in time
because Lil UziVirt
the last time
he put out an album
was what in 20, 21, I believe.
And for my people
listening over at Wisdom,
just know I'm picking up my phone
so you may hear it.
But for the most part,
Little UziVirt
and the last time
this man dropped the album
because it's been a while.
I don't know if this man
got cold feet,
too many dates
with JT. I don't know what it is.
But the last time this man dropped the album
was in
2020. I think about that.
Last time Lil Uzi Verd dropped the album was Pluto
times baby Pluto.
And guess what that was? A collab tape
with Future. Now,
of course, I can already hear y'all saying,
oh, but he dropped Eternal Take.
Man, tell me, one person that really enjoyed
Eternal E Take coming off the heels
of Love is Race 2, that was
released in 2017. I'll wait. I don't think there's anybody that enjoyed that album more than the
album that Uzi dropped in 2017. So in general, the chemistry between Lil Uzi Verk and Ghosts Love Me is
is really not, it's not one of those type of tracks where I could see it blowing up. Honestly,
I feel like this track is just one of those things to get his core fan base engaged and seeing where the
temperature is as far as their support. If they blow this song up to top 10 or top five,
I can see an album coming soon from Uzi because now you have two singles that are doing well.
But I just want to rock alone would not take Uzi's album into the heights that I think it could
as far as having another successful single to tag along with it for his solo album. His last album
was in 2020 and it is 2023. Granted, COVID kind of sped up some years. So really, so really,
we got to cut him some slack. I mean, at least he's not like Kendrick making us wait five years,
but I mean, it's getting to this point. I mean, three is not far, far away from five. So
Uzi needs to put out an album soon, hopefully, but for the most part, I feel like this track
that hymn and Ghost Love Me co-produced, well, not co-produced, but basically
collabed on. It's an interesting sound, but it's a sound we've already,
always heard from Lil Uzi Verk in the past.
So it's one of those type of reviews where it's nothing special.
I'm just giving you the behind the scenes details of it.
And I think he's doing this to see where the temperature's at with his fan base and what type
of support that they are willing to give.
So in general, I don't think a little Uzi Verk album is coming soon, but if he catches another
one, and that's a hard thing to say, because he already caught, I just want to rock.
and that's hard to do in general.
But if he catches another one,
best believe me that album is coming
sooner than expected.
