The first thing I thought about while looking at this cover for this single from Little Wayne titled Cat Food was the reaction from PETA had to be hilarious because ain't no way this man titled attract cat food and put an actual cat on the cover.
Like what is he actually trying to say with this type of imagery?
because in general, if he puts cat food,
I would think that he would put up some type of provocative photo
with him and a woman, right?
Obviously, that's R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-A, so you can't really do that.
He put a little wane on the tongue,
kind of letting you know what he was going for.
But at the end of the day, it is a cat over the cover,
and it's titled Cat Food.
Now, ladies and gentlemen,
that was a 60-second deep dive into a cover of a,
And that's how you know the immense respect I have for little way.
As I talked about my top 10, you know, I got in a little bit of trouble because
little Wayne's track undisputed came out.
I covered it and boy, it was people not having it.
Because whenever we're talking about little Wayne, you have to be respectful, right?
So I got into my top 10.
let's just say people was not happy with little Wayne's placement because of course my top five
I feel like it's pretty solid by the end of the day people don't tell you who you should take out
they just tell you that little Wayne shouldn't be that low so of course my top five for people
who are new to the podcast is jZ Kendrick biggie twopock and drake right that's my top
five yeah I just got to deal with it and then right after that and number six I have little
Wayne. And for some reason, everybody was like in my TikTok DMs at all the places. TikTok DMs?
Anyways, I appreciate. You know what I mean? As long as y'all, you know, engaging with the content, liking it.
But I think what I'm getting into is people was not happy with my placement of Little Wayne in my top 10.
You know, I had at least three people told me he should have been top two, not to. I had,
um, uh, what was his name?
as shadow boxer tell me that little way
is easily the best rapper of all the time i was like ain't no way i was like what is your
criteria and he was just like impact and i was like damn well he got me there because i did say
right after that that little wayne is the most impactful artist or rapper in the genre like ever
like every rapper dying uh what's it called dying the dreads face tats all that stuff like
he's just like what he said on um i think it was god did like he said um he said dreadlocks face
tacks uh dreadlocks face tats on the apex and then he went on some something something else
but basically little way started all that like obviously he may not start it but you know he was
impactful because of course what little kim and rapids before little wayne like used little
before little Wayne but little Wayne
is stamped
as making that popular the little
before the name. I don't know if that makes
sense. So yeah man
I think what this track called cat food is just another
testament, another
belt to add to his
collection
because he was
rapping, rapping all over this track.
This track is like almost five minutes, I believe.
If I go to the runtime, I think it was like
four minutes and 20-some seconds, but
Basically, he was rapping at a fast pace throughout the entire track.
And he set to make appearance, it's random tangent, but really not because we're talking
about Lowellane.
He said to be making consistent appearances on Skip Bayliss's new lineup with Undisputed
on FS1.
Now, how they're going to get a rapper to be on time?
one day out of the week
that's going to be a feat in itself
like if it get
Michael Irvin and all his allegations
getting Little Wayne
to show up every single day
even if it is one day out of the week
I don't think Skip Bayless
understands
rappers
and how they
don't understand
what being on time is
so but anyways
I mean a little Wayne
and skip are cool so maybe he won't be late for skip but
rappers are notoriously late to everything so i don't know how that's going to work and
i don't think it will work but i think they'll be like oh yeah little way can come this
friday but he'll be here next oh yeah little way wasn't able to come at this
rind but he'll be here uh two Fridays from now like i don't think it's going to work but anyways
um that's a little side tension for that little wayne is also set to debut the single uh
cat food live so it's going to be a live performance of cat food
dude lot uh how i said live at the m tv video music awards uh v ma's next month and the lineup includes
doja cat demi levato anita anita baker no i just playing let me chill uh calcia ballerbreni
caro g many skin i don't know these people and others so anyways uh little wayne has had several
performances of course in twenty three um including a north american tour in a
concert tour at Yankee's
Stadium and
what else?
Lil Wayne's track Can't Nobody
was featured, oh yeah, that sample
DMX. I remember covering that. If you look
up Little Wayne Can't Nobody
Notorious Mass Effect,
it should pop up, but
I said that track was pretty
fire. One of my favorite tracks of the year.
Obviously it was earlier in the year.
I don't know if it's still on my list. I have to look.
But it was fire. That track was
fire. And the ironic portion of
the track was when DMX was like, you know, uh, you know, first off, you know,
recipe's of DMX. But now we're getting into jokes. Uh, DMX was like, you know,
can't nobody spit better than me, you know what I've been doing this for 20 years? And in my mind,
I'm like, what does that have to do? What does that have to do anything?
If that's the case, then Rakim's the best rapper ever. No, let's be true. All right. So basically,
DMX was like, you know, can nobody rap better than him? And then right after that,
it's like little Wayne come on rapping. It's kind of funny.
Because it's ironic because Lil Wayne is leaps and bounds way better than DMX as a rapper.
So that whole sample is like, couldn't you have picked a different sample?
Like, obviously I don't think he wanted it to come across.
Like in his mind, I don't think Lil Wayne was like, oh, I'm going to show him up.
But that's how I came across to me.
Like DMX says he's the best rapper.
And then Lil' Wayne comes on rapping like DMX has never rap before.
So it's like, ah.
But rest of peace, DMX, right?
anyways little wayne it's set to you know already said the vmage stage so if you want to look forward to that
i don't know what the vmase is i don't look for that type of stuff um what else that's basically
it so little way cat food uh the cover for the for the track is hilarious because like what what in
the if i make a joke it's going to be about a certain demographic and cats and food and using them
for food and i don't know if that's going to come across well
So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to let y'all put two and two together.
And if that, what I just said went over your head, then so be it.
So anyways, click my link to my bio.
Let me know in one of my social medias.
What do you think about Lil Wayne's latest single titled Cat Food?
And if you listen to it, do you think it's fire or trash?
And also, what do you think about my top five rappers list of all time?
I have 10, but we ain't got time for that.
My top five, do you think Lil Wayne should be top five or no?
Thank you.
Thank you.
