Now, of course, the most influential artists of all time is back again announcing that the Carter 6th drops June 6th of this year.
Now, with that being said, I don't think people realize, especially the young ones, not to sound like an unc because I'm definitely not that old.
But when it comes to the timeline of the Cardi series, you have to realize that there was a significant gap between the Carter,
and the Carter 5, a seven-year gap to be specific, right?
The Carter 4 came out 2011.
The Carter 5 came out 2018.
And that was a huge gap because, of course, the Carter, the original Carter came out in 2004.
Carter 2 came out 2005.
Carter 3 came out in 2008.
Of course, Carter 4 came out in 2011.
People looking at 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and thinking 10,
themselves hold up now is the Carter series finished well of course not little way it was just
going through a lot of details as far as his current contract under birdman that was a huge deal
especially back when that was going on and that being a whole cash money legal dispute to the
point where everybody realized that little wayne wasn't one of the worst deals ever in hip hop history
right so it kind of just showcased how artists are really taking advantage of and they kind of don't
it till years after right you getting paid an exorbitant amount of dollars for the amount of music
you're putting out and then when you see the actual net value of what's coming in based on the
music you're putting out and what you've received you would probably be just as upset as little
way it took from 2011 to 2018 to have a addition to the carter series which was carter five
so anyways with that being said it's 2025 and now the carter six is set to draw
June 6th, 2025.
And I think that's a huge deal, not only because it's going to be another installment
into the legendary iconic run that Little Wayne has, but also the last album that he put out
back in 2023 with two chains titled Welcome to College Grove.
That sold 34,000 first week.
Now, at first glance, you're probably thinking, well, that's it.
But then you come to realize collaborative album.
don't really sell as much as solo albums but if you think about it Carter 5 ended up selling
a whopping 480,000 back in October 132018 and a debut number one 141, 141,000 in album sales and then of
course 325,000 equivalent units as far as in the streams so now when you're looking at that number
and then you're looking at it in the totality the Carter series performs as
astronomically well on the charts Carter one the original Carter right sold 116,000 first week
the Carter two sold 240,000 first week the Carter three was insane and sold a million copies
first week the Carter four ended up selling nine hundred sixty four thousand first week and
of course the Carter five sold four hundred eighty thousand units first week now of course
when it comes to that metric the reason why i'm saying that is because my prediction for the carter six
is that it will end up selling around two to three hundred thousand first week and that is on the
higher scale in my opinion that is where i think the first week sales will fall in line for little
wayne's carter six right now as far as the features there's been a lot of rumors as far as who's going to be
on this album there's been myly cyrus has been bono as far as you two Andrea boselli
elephant man
and reading off those names
you'll probably realize
I thought this was a hip hop album
well I'm glad you said it because I was thinking
the exact same thing
where are the hip hop artists
on this album but to be
fair they are not confirmed
they're just rumors and we don't know if this is
actually going to be the features for the album
these are just this is just speculation
at the end of the day
I would assume we would receive maybe a Nicki verse, maybe a Drake verse.
Like at some point, we need them to always make music together,
even if they're now in the greatest of terms,
because, of course, what young money meant to the generation now,
as far as what we are accustomed to being one of the most iconic trios in music history.
I mean, some would say Kanye, JZ, and Rihanna.
Others would say Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Eminem.
There's a lot of big threes in hip-hop.
But one of the best, as far as it,
being under a label, right? Contractually speaking is Nikki, Drake, and Wayne. The reason why I say
contractually, because of course, when it comes to Jay Z and Kanye and Rihanna, they went through
separate ways at a certain point. Anyways, with that being said, that's basically my coverage
of Little Wayne. I do believe that this album is going to be phenomenal when it comes out. I never
doubt Little Wayne when it comes to the Carter series, because I believe he's one of the greatest
wordsmiths we've ever had in hip hop one of the greatest freestyleers at the very least we've ever
had in hip hop so the words that he's going to be putting together on the card of six i just hope he deep
dives into some things that we haven't heard before about his life because of course with lyric is
very easy for them to get into their introspective bag and make it sound phenomenal especially
how he started off the car to five which i wish you would have went a little deeper but i kind
to get the message that he was going with as far as um oh this is the deluxe now how did he start off the
carter five yeah as far as uh dedicate i think it was dedicate yeah okay so dedicate where he was literally
talking about how he was so influential in this in the game of hip hop i wish you would have went
deeper into that because i do believe that little wayne is the most influential rapper of all time
I mean, you look at Little Wayne and when he started,
and then you look at all the rappers that came after him in their image.
Just look at their image.
Who are they trying to look like?
They're not trying to look like Drake.
I'll tell you that.
They're not trying to look like Kanye.
They're definitely not trying to look like Tyler the Creator, right?
I mean, shout to Tyler to Create.
I don't know why I said that.
You know, that was a crazy shot for no reason.
I like Tyler the Creator's music.
See how I had a backtrack?
I had a backtrack because I like Tyler the Creator's music.
I had my fault.
But you get on saying.
Nobody's trying to dress like them.
Who are all these up-and-coming rappers looking like and basing their style off of,
basing their dreadlocks off of highlighting their dreadlocks.
And who is that reminiscent of?
Which goes back to my original point.
I believe Little Wayne is the most influential rapper of all time.
With that being said, click my link to your in my bio.
Let me know on one of my social medias.
What do you think about the Carter 6 being set to drop June 6, 2025?
5 and if you've listened to the entire Carter series which one is your favorite
