One of my most premier statements on this podcast is that Little Yadi is sonically the worst musician I've ever heard in life.
And technically, that's a pretty prestigious accomplishment because only one person can hold that spot.
So I'm giving him his kudos if you really think about it.
So anyways, Lil Yadi and his reference track for.
My favorite musician Drake and his song Jumbo stuff popping because of course PG podcast.
So you know, got to take out the cuss words.
But it has surfaced online mysteriously after it being out for so long and just so happened
coincidentally after the whole industry versus Drake this reference track is leaked in full.
Now how that happened?
I don't know.
I guess it must be a coincidence, right?
It's not the whole industry plotting again.
against Drake to take him out of the game because he's been on top for so long.
But as a Drake fan, I still have to be objective, you know, as a podcaster, as a cover of music,
and just give you the objective facts.
And the objective facts is that if you go to, I keep doing this because I feel like people don't understand
that this is publicly, this is researchable information and publicly accessible information.
So her loss, November 4th, 2022.
If you go to that album on your respective DSPs, if you go with me, you know, just click on your DSP.
Go to Her Lost by Dracon 21 Savage.
Go to the track Jumbotron, right?
Click the little three dot button to bring up more information on that specific track.
Go all the way down to song credits.
And if you look at written by, let's just look up just for, you know, we're not trying to spread fake news.
saying little yottie real name let me see miles parks mccullum written by hmm dot mccullum i wonder who that could be
now mind you this is publicly accessible uh information you know what i'm saying all the way back in
november 4th 2022 why is it being brought up may 2024 you might ask hmm i wonder why but anyways
as a drake fan you know people just gonna say i'm caping but if this was like
hidden if he was never credited for jumbo track for the jumbo track uh jumbo tron track then i would
understand what people are coming from but for this to be information that's been obvious
since 20 what is it 20 22 so two years uh since this track has been released and people are just now
shining a light on it to call drake a fraud people are just straight up hypocrites are just or just or
they're just ignorant to how the music industry plays out as far as how the most popular artists
have help when creating music. If you had a job and you was competing with the 1% of the 1%
and your job was to outperform them, I would think you will look for every advantage possible
to gain a one-up on your competition. That is why every popular musician,
has people have people make reference tracks
help them in the studios when it comes to putting together verses
because they have to do a million other things
in their career and career as far as marketing
that sometimes using a person or two
to help you out with a couple verses is not a bad thing
so the only thing I would say
because now we're talking about hip hop territory and lyricism right
time stamp Drake
I believe
I am under the assumption
Drake has written
100% of
his timestamp records
and all of his records that pertain to his life
and him getting into his life experiences
if there ever
is a time where there's a reference
track for that
then we can have this
conversation again as far as
does this disqualify
Drake from the greatest rappers
list. But currently, Jumbotron
mob ties, while they are
slaps as far as hits, quote unquote,
they're not hard hitting from a standpoint of
lyricism and putting your pin to pad as far as
your life experiences. Marvin's room,
4 p.m. of Calabasas,
Western Road flows. Y'all find me
reference tracks for any of the lyrically, I mean, I could keep going.
Like, it's really Drake, like, come on now.
5 a.m.
in Toronto
Summer 16
y'all find me
reference tracks
for any of those
and then we can
revisit this conversation
but as long as y'all
follow up with reference
tracks for stuff like
some
some
what you say I'm geeked up
I mean
listen to what Drake was saying
on Jumbo Tron
like do y'all really
believe this affects
his best rapper card
as far as getting
let me bring this up
because sometimes I think people don't be listening to,
don't be reading lyrics.
Let me just type in geek.
Yeah, here we go.
Up 8 a.m. geek and hard.
I'm a real vamp.
People try to make a person's spot now is too cramped.
Up 8 a.m. geek and hard.
I'm a real vamp.
People got me messed up, dog.
I'm too amped up.
Make this girl lick me like a mail stamp.
Mm-hmm.
Strap up.
I'm a dialit.
Two slime posted at the crib in a snake pit.
Every time I tell you how I feel, I don't fake nothing.
I wonder if that takes away Drake's greatest rapper card.
Like, come on now.
Like, what are we really talking about?
Like, we're referencing whole reference tracks for braggadocious swag rap.
Like, give me a reference track to a real hard-hitting lyricist's track,
and we can have this conversation against.
Because as a Drake fan, I mean, it's just upsetting.
like 2022 publicly accessible information as far as writing credits and people are bringing it up
in 2024 to discredit this man only because they're riding the wave of Metro, Future and Kendrick
and the whole industry as far as going at Drake and taking them off his throne.
So with that being said, that's all I got for that.
I mean, congrats yadi.
As far as a business mind, I've always given you your credit.
I've said you're one of the best business minds in the game as far as being that pioneer
when it comes to creativity,
but sonically,
you're still the worst person
I've ever heard,
like in life.
Like, as far as my 24 years
on earth,
you know what I mean?
Like, hey,
you've been number one,
but for the wrong reason.
So with that being said,
click my link to try and my bio,
let me know one of my social media is.
Do you even think a little Yadi
will address these references
that just came out?
And if he does,
do you think he'll be on the side of Drake
or do you think he'll side
with the public
in discrediting
Drake's pin.
