Starting point is 00:00:00 So this is the track that Lil Yadi's label decided to press a button on, which is titled Say Something Off of His album. Let's Start Here. Now, when I'm getting into Little Yadie, obviously, if you've watched my recap of his album, just know that I'm not the biggest Lil Yadi fan. It's quite the opposite. I may actually dislike Lil Yadis music more than a... Well, I think that's a given, because I never say Jermaine's a bad artist, but it's just like Audio NyQuil. before, L'OYadi, it's more than audio night quill.
Starting point is 00:00:31 It's literally like nails on a chalkboard when it comes to listening to an artist that's driven sonically because his sound is so annoying and just atrocious that I just can't keep listening to it for more than like two minutes. So anyways, he put out
Starting point is 00:00:47 this new album and this is a track that they decide to push and he's still under quality control music, which is under Universal Music Group recording. Which if you think about that, I think Drake's under UMG as well. So it may be one of those deals where Drake is helping this man out in the, uh, in the business world, because I don't see any type of way that UMG would try to sign, um, Liyadi.
Starting point is 00:01:14 So yeah, yeah, Drake is under UMG as well. So I don't know, man. I mean, the label mates, of course, but, you know, Drake's probably propping him up because he's like, ain't no way Lill Yadi's ever going to be competition for me. Like, for quality control, everybody knows. Little Yachty, oh, not a little Yaddy, little baby runs quality music because at this point he's the figurehead.
Starting point is 00:01:33 I mean, him and Cardi. I would say it's Cardi B that's the figurehead for quality control, which I don't know, is Cardi still under quality control? Hold on, that's a good question. Because I know Offset bought himself out of the deal, which is why he can't make music
Starting point is 00:01:49 with a quavius or takeoff. But, Cardi B, on the other hand, under oh she's under Atlantic Recording Corporation so she's not under Atlantic no more because 2017
Starting point is 00:02:06 she was wow I don't know if she was she ever under Atlantic you know hold on now oh what was that garbage track they put out with a little dirk and Kanye West
Starting point is 00:02:21 like I don't even know how you mess up that type of track but Cardi B somehow you know she pulled that off that was that was insane Atlantic Rec Rec Recording Corporation. Okay, so I guess she's not under quality control. So anyways, a little Yaddy is.
Starting point is 00:02:35 So they're probably, you know, trying to push this album as much as they can. And this is the track that they chose to be the figurehead of the album. Because if you don't know, most people who go to these DSPs like Spotify and Apple Music, sometimes they don't feel like, you know, curating their own playlist. Sometimes they don't feel like just listening to their own music. So they'll go to some of these playlists. They're highly respected, like the new music playlist on Spotify, and they will just play on shuffle so they can get acclimated to the new music that drop.
Starting point is 00:03:09 And say something is on that playlist for Spotify. I don't know about Apple Music or any other other DSPs, but for Spotify, I know it was a big deal to be on those type of playlist. So this is the one that Quality Control chose. And also, I'm pretty sure Lord Yachty probably had a hand in choosing as well, as this is a completely different sound for him. So he's probably letting them know, hey, this one, I'm definitely thinking it's going to go. So we're going to see what happens with this track.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Personally, you know, I just can't get with Lil Yadi music. I'm definitely going to listen to the album. I listen to the first three tracks. I mean, it was definitely a different genre. And it was definitely music. That's all I got to say. So anyways, click my link, share in my bio. And let me know in one of my social medias.
Starting point is 00:03:49 Well, also, people on YouTube, subscribe, like, and comment. And let me know, what do you think of Little Yadi? And just his ability to make music. It's hard for me not to laugh by asking that because I'm being so serious, but I think Lil Yaddi is like one of the worst people to ever make music. Like one of the worst artists ever. But as a person, he's just so likable. So it's like, it's so crazy how that works. Anyways, let me know.
Starting point is 00:04:17 Do you think a little Yachty makes good music or no?
