Little Yaddy is unfortunately back again putting out new music because, you know, somebody asked for it.
But basically he has a three-song EP title Slide and I wish this would have slid itself into the trash can.
But unfortunately, it's on all DSPs currently.
And you can stream it if you want to.
Just know that it would probably be the worst thing you've ever heard in your life.
So as you probably already can tell, I'm not the biggest fan, Lil Yadi.
in general, I do believe, and I kept a list, I do keep a list over the years of the artists and musicians that I just feel like sonically and as a musician, solely as a musician, is just utter garbage.
You know, I have the likes of, we have like, I's JJ Fish, of course, over the years, you know.
um
we have a lot of people
probably some YouTubers
that try music I probably throw some of them in there
um
whoever that little Zandu was
he was straight yeah that was
that was
that's a PG podcast
but you already know what I'm trying to say
and then we have
Lil Yadi
just one of the worst musicians I've ever
heard in my life now as a person
of course
I want to say that
I feel like his business mind is now intact.
Because, of course, when he was on the infamous everyday struggle with Joe Budden and DJ academics,
he was bringing up things he had no idea about, if that makes sense.
He was talking about things he had no idea about.
So he was saying, oh, this is my deal, this is my deal.
Joe Buddy was asking very direct questions.
And Yaddy literally was not educated enough to talk about his own deal.
his own contract that affects him he was not educated enough to talk about it contract that affects him
not nobody else specifically him he had no idea about so of course joe buddham made a logical
conclusion that you're probably in a 360 deal and you need to take this music seriously because
this industry would chew you up and spit you out and of course you know he said a little bit more
vitriol than of course i would but i feel like joe button was giving him a
a very valuable lesson.
Granted, veins were popping out of his head, so it probably looked a little intimidating,
but the message he was basically trying to get across is, you don't want to end up like him.
Of course, infamously, Joe Button, you know, had pump it up, and that's signed to one person
that signed to another person.
Basically, Joe Button talks about just now almost being like five, three to five years away
from getting the rights to pump it up or something like that.
and Pump It Up came out like
When did pump it up? Actually, let's actually look at what Pump It Up came out.
So that should let you know what type of contracts.
These labels can put you under if you're not knowledgeable about the deal that directly affects you.
So, of course, after that, you know, interview, Yadhi probably decided Joe Button was just a complete maniac.
But then he came to realize that he was probably telling a little bit of truth.
And, you know, he actually switched and transitioned into being in a more business-minded person.
And I really do credit him with that because I feel like without that switch to be in business minded, he would have completely fell off because his musical attributes or adjists in all time low.
And I feel like the Poland song is very interesting because that track also is very trash.
But a lot of people play it everywhere.
But simply because something is popular does not mean as good.
case and point this year
I really enjoyed the Ray Schremer album
now almost nobody listened to it
but me I feel like it's so like what
20 24 some thousand first week
but that doesn't stop me from saying
it's one of my favorite albums of the year
now
directing that to Poland
Poland was a polarizing track
of course and Yadi's sound
with the little shaky effects that Post Malone
been doing way better for years
Yaddy gets credit for that for Poland and now everybody loves that track.
Once again, I just feel like his business mind leaps and bounds ahead of his musical mind,
which is how he's able to stay in the game because he probably knew, you know,
I'm probably not the best rapper.
He even tried to go prove it time and time again going up to Hot 97,
going up to the breakfast club, doing all type of freestyle, trying to let people know that he can
rap, all for just people to say once again that he's straight.
up garbage because he is.
One of the worst musicians I've ever
heard in life.
But it may sound
harsh, but I'm also giving him a compliment
because I do feel like business-wise,
he is very
evolved from when
the date of him going on
everyday struggle and basically having no idea
what type of contract he was under.
When Yadi, when Joe Button
was yelling at him with veins popping out of his
head. So anyways,
I finally found out when a pump it up
out so pumping up came out in 1999 and it was published by and um ero basically i say that to
say this it's 2023 that track came out in 1999 and joe button is still trying to get the royalties
to set to that actual track and because he has to he's like a um i forget what it's called
but it's kind of like when you do to to create uh another scenario it's like if you do a crime
and then years later it's like you can talk about that
crime because it's like enough time.
Statue of limitations. That's what I find it.
It's like that before a song.
So basically after a number of years, the song royalties goes like directly to Joe
Budden because of the way that the contract was set up.
Not all contracts are like that, but basically I say that because it just exemplifies
the fact or exemplifies why Joe Budden was literally yelling at Yadi for not knowing the specifics
of his deal and just acting completely as if that was.
was okay.
So anyways,
um,
musically,
like I keep saying,
I'm not just gonna be the dead horse.
Like,
y'all already know how I feel about a little yadi.
Like,
every time I talk about him,
it's just,
it's going to be the same sentiment until he drops on him.
Now I think it's just even serviceable.
So this man is,
um,
yeah,
man,
one of the worst musicians I've ever heard in my life.
But as far as a person,
he seems pretty cool.
As far as his business,
uh,
mind,
he seems like he's evolved and he's definitely,
uh,
put his,
mark on the game unfortunately by influencing one of the biggest artists in the world
which is probably why I'm most upset because with Drake being influenced by a little
Yadhi you never know what can come up that honestly with his background vocals on
her loss those actually was pretty solid and for that it's probably the worst
compliment you could ever give a hip-hop musician that their backup vocals for
another artist was solid so anyways click my link to your bio let me know
one of my social media is what do you think about little yaddi just being utter garbage and just
one of the worst musicians we've ever seen in life and comparing that to his business mind
where do you think he stands as far as his impact in the hip-hop industry
