Starting point is 00:00:03 Now I know. I know Lizzo did not just put out a full rap mixtape today. But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? And I don't know if my rap card is going to be taken for saying this. But I'm not going to lie to you. This mixtape kind of fire. But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? I mean, Kendrick who? Drake who Nikki
Starting point is 00:00:35 Oh my fault Yeah I can't be saying that But you know at the end of day Lizzo is straight up Giving bars All over this mixtape I'm not gonna lie to you As far as a surprise release
Starting point is 00:00:48 And it being 13 tracks and length And having Doja Cat and Cizza on it The quality of the mixtape Because I've listened to it And there's straight bars all throughout this mixtape Now of course At first glance you're probably think it to yourself.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Analytic ain't no way you co-signed Lizzo rapping on an entire project. And that's exactly what I'm doing. You guys. See, that's the problem. Sometimes you have to open your mind and realize that you have to expand your palette to be entertained.
Starting point is 00:01:23 And let's just say this mixtape is beyond entertainment or entertaining. And as far as listening to the bars, I kept saying, to myself. I know that ain't who I think it is. Every time she gave a double triple entendre.
Starting point is 00:01:37 I know that ain't who I think it is. Every time she kept giving bars as far as her being outside. I know that ain't who I think it is. Every time she kept consistently was sounding like Prime Lotto slash Nikki slash Cardi.
Starting point is 00:01:53 I kept saying to myself. I know that ain't who I think it is. So after two minutes of ultimately just glazing this project, I just got to let you know. that Lizzo just put out a surprise mixtape is beyond phenomenal the beats i don't know who's making all of these beats but let's just say they laced Lizzo with the greatest beat pack you could imagine for this mixtape so not only is she giving bars not only are the beats
Starting point is 00:02:18 phenomenal but she also has superstar like figures on her project whether it's doja cat whether it's scissor and you know sales sit to the side because i always get into the charts and things that nature. I just want to talk about the quality for a second. This project is definitely going to be played by you know who. They are going to be out here and letting you know that they are outside. Literally the first track of this project, she's repeating over and over. We're outside. I'm just thinking, where's Cardi B in a time like this?
Starting point is 00:02:53 But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? I'm thinking Cardi B put out the track outside, which is. set to do phenomenal by the way like as far as future chart data set for July 5th the track outside is set to be the ninth most play track in the world so Cardi B did what she need to do with her track outside it's set to be a phenomenal uh phenomenally performing track on the charts quality wise I would say that a lot of her other secret her previous singles that she never followed
Starting point is 00:03:24 with an album as far as up as far as WAP specifically those were straight fire now outside compared to those tracks is not the greatest but outside is not a bad track and obviously as you see with her slated to have the ninth most played track in the world as far as future chart predictions for july 5th you can see how the marketing budget is completely behind this rollout as i've already talked about already talked about her album coming out as far as am i the drama and that album is set to come out September 19th, 2025. So from here on, well, from right now, as far as June 27th until September 19th, I think Lizzo is giving the, the hip-hop audience, our fix as far as what to expect for the foreseeable
Starting point is 00:04:13 future with the city girls just wrapping up a storm and giving anthems to people who want to follow in their footsteps. As this is a phenomenal project. I can't even lie. this is this is straight fire like i was listening and i just could not believe my ears lizzo is out here giving phenomenally placed and executed bars over firebeats like i wish i knew the whole list of producers on this album i don't know all of them but um i think i don't want to say the wrong uh producer but anyway there's a lot of beats uh okay whoa okay so that makes sense zay tovin and tay keith is over this
Starting point is 00:04:54 mixtape which makes absolute sense take keith has one of my favorite producer tags out of all the hip-hop i just like take keith we did pg podcast but y'all get you know he's like take keith mess these people up that's the pg version but um that's one of my favorite tags in and all of hip-hop um and of course when drake did take keith this too hard and it's something something dripped too hard or whatever but that that's also another one but you know i'm a drak stand so you know that's this i'm a little bias but but anyways we're going to get into uh the track with lizzo and doja cap right after this and then we're going to get into the track with lizzo and scissor because this surprise like i was really just going to focus on the i rl track with scissor and then i realized it was a whole surprise mixtape
Starting point is 00:05:37 and then i had to take even more time to listen to the mixtape to give you my honest thoughts about the quality and let's just say it's beyond phenomenal i would highly recommend you check this out so with that being said i click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias will you be checking out Lizzo's surprise mixtape giving straight bars a lyrical exercise on her mixtape title my face hurts from smiling out now on our DSPs
