So I just want y'all to know that Logic announced retirement back in 2020.
So anyways, uh, 2024. Logic has a new single out titled For Forever,
showcasing his unwavering love for rap.
Because him being consistent in this game of hip hop is something that he takes very seriously.
44 series is known for his bars and hooks similar to Drake's timestamp records.
Now that is where the Drake comparison stop, right?
I'm just letting the average fan know why he's titling it this for his fans because
they know when he titles it something like that as far as the 44th series.
They know what he's doing.
So it also references Kendrick Lamar, uh, Kendrick Lamar, uh,
as far as in the bar
and the whole
confu pan...
What's his name?
The confu kini mantra
as
Kendrick, I think,
has gotten a lot of rappers
to come out and try harder
when it comes to putting words together.
And that is all...
The reason...
I don't want to get off on the sign tangent
because he's in hip-hop timeout right now.
But the reason why everybody was so mad at Jermaine,
is because these moments of back and forth between the top dogs and hip hop makes the whole field better, makes the whole field want to up their pin game when they eventually come out again.
Because now they hear how the big dogs are coming and how they are attacking the beat when they could just sit back and let the millions roll in.
Hip hop is a competitive sport.
And if there's no competition, we're going to get to a point where there's going to be no fans, kind of like it was last year where hip hop was in a dire place.
It was looking spooky.
I mean, Morgan Walden was out here saying the N-word and ain't nobody care.
Was it no type of culture, nothing for hip-hop, right?
So with that being said, obviously that was just a joke.
You know, people did care.
That's why he didn't get no Grammy nominations.
But you get what I'm saying.
Like people just playing with, you know, hip-hop and.
Morgan Wall and Taylor Swift out here running the charts.
I mean, Paisal Pluma, K-pop, what's his name, V from BTS.
Like, hip-hop was not doing well compared to other genres.
Obviously, it's a little different this year.
Why Kung Fu Candy has been at the top for, like, the past three to four weeks.
Making people rap is why we need competition in hip-hop.
You can't go at somebody and then they respond.
You respond, but then after you respond to their response, you say, you know what?
I don't really want to beef like that.
Honestly, if you're still mad, take your best shot because I don't care.
That's why, Jermaine for, you know how they're in the NBA when somebody gets hurt?
They say he's out for an indefinite amount of time.
That's what Jermaine is.
He is in hip-hop timeout for an indefinite amount of time, you know?
So, for logic, let's get back to him.
People may kill me for this, but I can only be honest.
I like the track.
I like the track.
I know it's popular to hate logic.
I know everybody loves the hate logic.
I like 44 ever.
I just like when rappers put words together over a beat
and they make it somewhat makes sense
because nowadays we have rappers out here like Cardi,
destroy lonely mumbling on whole beats
and it's being retained and considered music.
So with that being said, putting words together,
is where i lie my uh litmus scale as far as the field so if you can put words together that's
already step one you know if you can't put words together why are you rapping this is not the mumbled
olympics this is not blues clues we need you to enunciate and get your words out and put it together
in a fashion that nobody else is while also reflecting on your life most of these rappers can't even
let me hey let's just say cat in the hat may be a little trouble for them to read let's just let's just put it
like that so um logic with this track 44 ever i think it's fire and i was looking at his comment
section in his instagram and people was like um obviously i'm pointing out something to
okay let's start with the good right somebody said i'm a lyrical spiritual individual spitting
my okay i don't even know what that is um yeah his his fans are yeah it's the other side you know what
I'm saying we got to be respectful.
We're in a whole other culture right now.
Somebody said,
Bobby,
please stop dropping every year.
Goodness.
I know it's something you kind of take pride in,
but seriously,
it is severely hurting the quality of your music.
It's straight up quantity over quality.
Doing this
and has been
leading to these boring,
lazy
repetitive songs
I STG
which if you don't know what that means
it means he swears to the big man
every single line
you said in this snippet
I have heard you say some variation of it
on other songs
I have heard you say some variation
this is not coming out of hate
I've been listening to you
since 2012
I'm literally wearing my no pressure hoodie right now.
Pray for that man.
He's going through it.
He wrote a whole paragraph and guess what?
Logic's not reading that because I don't know what he'd talk about.
Like I said, I personally like to track and all I'm seeing in his comment section is just straight up hate.
Somebody else said, it was mid and I mess with logic.
Somebody else said, I can't say that.
It's PG podcast.
But let's just say it's a little Kim Kish, you know what I mean?
He said it's Kim K.
Let's let you know, I'll let you all put that together.
together um
what else
no no he said his party
that's gonna be a new thing he said
his uh party next door his album cover
that album covers
fantastic
anyways let's keep going um
come on man
what is this
that sounds buns
you fell off gang
and that's how you know it's a different
demographic i ain't never heard buns
used like that it was
only time I heard buns is when did
let me show so anyways um
yeah man logic's own fan base not messing with it i mess with it so i guess that counts for something
i don't know hopefully he gets it together because obviously his fan base ain't messing with it uh he also
dropped something else called fear the single version i don't know what that means i'm not really too up
on logic all i know is that you know the rollout was a little uh iffy as far as it coming out on
YouTube on his YouTube channel talking about Logic before his official release on streaming platforms,
which, you know, release schedules that happen sometimes.
That's basically it.
So for the Logic fans out there, you may have to get my man a break because obviously he'd be
going through it 24-7.
I mean, he literally said he's going to retire in 2020, just so y'all will give him some type
of love and y'all did the complete opposite.
Y'all was like, hallelujah, thank the Lord, this man retiring.
So he can't win for losing, man.
So anyways, click my link, sure in my bio.
Let me know on one of my social medias.
What do you think about the hate and the, I'm not even going to call the hate because, you know, music is subjective.
What do you think about the vitriol that his fan base has towards his music?
And do you think this track by logic, title four forever, is fire or trash?
