Starting point is 00:00:00 Everybody's favorite rapper who only celebrates half of February is back again with a Tupac inspired track titled Juice 2. Now, I don't know where the Tupac inspired inspiration might not correct myself. The Tupac inspired track, Juice 2. I don't know how or where the inspiration came from. As I listened to the track, it was like logic rapping solid to decent for like 20 seconds. And then the rest of it was just like, okay, it's the nostalgia of the beat. But it's also accompanied with visuals with his performance from his footage of his performance from his recent show, which he was very specific about doing now that he's independent. Because if you don't know, he's kind of taking shots at Def Jam, as you can see in the title.
Starting point is 00:00:49 As the biggest thing with Logic is, obviously, he has a big enough fan base to go independent. but a lot of people who has logic type success doesn't try to jeopardize that to show that they can go to the independent route which is why in some weird way I really do respect logic in the route he took and also I respect Russ in a route he took as being a major label artist who brings in streams and sales and recoup on their investment not throwing it away but switching gears to be an independent where the grind is much hard to reach those heights as far as first week sales is a pretty respectable leap of faith that not many
Starting point is 00:01:36 artists do so logic did it Russ did it a lot of artists try and then they end up falling off the face of the earth and they wonder why the music label or yeah all these major labels take as much of the royalties as they do so anyways logic went on to tell the crowd back in the past when he was before forming. So for y'all, he said, quote, so for those of y'all who don't know, I'm off death jail. I'm a free man, baby. I'm free. So that means I can do whatever the expedive I want. Of course I didn't say the word because, you know, this is a PG podcast. But anyways, let's get back into the quote. Like every single one of y'all be in my brand new music video. So that's how I happened. That's how I ended up in the two pockets.
Starting point is 00:02:26 inspired juice two track and live music video if you look it up on YouTube you can see what I'm talking about and of course this this isn't going to be on his new album titled college park which was previously teased last year when he was on the road with with uh whiz califa but he's definitely saying that he's excited to be an independent artist which I don't blame him because at the end of the day who with the fan base the loyal fan base of a logic or of us wouldn't try to test out the waters of being an independent artist. But let's just see what this lands logic as at the end of the day, the grass is not always greener on the other side.
Starting point is 00:03:08 And speaking of the other side, a lot of people love to bring up his other side as they always, and I mean always, are reminding this man that he is, in fact, half white. So anyways, click my tree and my hip white. Like, what does that have to do anything? If you know logic, then you probably know where that came from. So anyways, I click my link tree in my bio. Let me know on one of my social media is.
Starting point is 00:03:29 What do you think about the Tupac, quote unquote, inspired track, Juice, too? And do you think it's, nah, not even think it's fire or trash? Will you be giving it a listen?
