Starting point is 00:00:03 Now we've covered Lola Young before all the way back on January 17, 2025. But of course, she is back again with her single titled dealer. Now, when it comes to that, her album, and this is a PG podcast. And the reason why I say that is because she says, I'm only, and then there's an ex, you know, a very provocative word. So we're just going to say, I'm only messing with myself, right? That's the PG version. You guys.
Starting point is 00:00:32 So anyways. that being said lolly young is back with the single title dealer and if you don't know when it comes to her success and especially with messy the track i covered at the beginning at the top of the year safe to say that is a breakout hit and of course would they be in a 2024 breakout hit it is one of those type of tracks that i had to cover because of course over here we talk about the different tracks that affect the masses you know pun intended but ultimately messy was one of her top tracks of 2020 definitely more of a breakout hit not like that anymore was another one of her tracks that was viral one thing was pretty solid as far as it being a good track and i believe that dealer is definitely going to be the one to help out this marketing rollout for i'm only messing with myself once again coming off september 19th of this year for lola young fans and also for lowly young fans just know that she is currently on the euro European festival run, including Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Portugal, going all the way into August
Starting point is 00:01:42 2025. And then post-album, she's going to be headlining the North America tour fall of this year. That will include New York's Terminal 5, Nashville's The Pinnacle, Seattle's WAMU theater. Is that you say? Or is it W-A-M-U? I don't know if you're supposed to say it. or to say the acronym. So anyways, Los Angeles, Hollywood, Palladium.
Starting point is 00:02:10 I think that's how I say it. And then, of course, one of the main tip is that came out of the marketing rollout for Lola Young is realizing that the iconic, the icon living, Elton John, came out and praised dealer, basically saying, quote, is the biggest man. I've heard in years. I know that ain't who I think it is. Now Elton John has heard a lot of music, right? And I think essentially what he's doing is co-signing her as if you don't know,
Starting point is 00:02:46 Lola Young is under Universal Music Operations. More specifically, Day 1 Music Limited. What does that mean? She's under a major label. Now, I'm not saying that the praise from Elton John is inauthentic. I'm just saying and put it in perspective how being under certain labels, having certain people backing you, definitely helps out in the long run, especially if a lot of hands are in the pots as far as certain points on albums and royalties being considered.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Now, that out the way, Lola Young definitely gave her first response as far as just seeing so much praise coming not only from her fans, but her artist that she idolized. as so much as far as Elton John's saying, quote, I'm just so grateful to be sitting here with you and also said, quote, I've gone through a lot. This is Loli Young. But I've managed to pull the other side of a lot of darker things. I've managed to pull out the other side of a lot of dark things. And then she also ended it with saying, quote, music is so powerful and I'm now in a headspace to take on. success. So that's pretty nice. I do believe when it comes to Lola Young and Dealer and her upcoming album saying that I'm only messing with myself, I think it's probably going to be a lot of introspective lyrics based off of Dealer, based off of messy, because if you don't know, she really speaks a lot on the gender dynamics and sex positivity. So when it comes to that, a lot of her lyrics reflect that, which if you're going to speak,
Starting point is 00:04:30 about certain topics. I love when artists put what they're thinking about as far as their perspective on the world into the music because really you're the only one who's in your body 24-7. So why not put your unique experiences out of the millions of people on this planet? Why not put your unique perspective into your music to make it stand out? So that's one of the things she does. And I do believe when it comes to dealer, that's one of the first tracks that, you know, shows an obvious indication on what the album or what you can expect of the album when it comes out September 19. So with that with that being said, click my link to my bio. Let me know one of my social media is what do you think about Loli Young and her latest track dealer? And also,
Starting point is 00:05:16 are you going to be checking out her album I'm only messing with myself when it releases September 19th of this year?
