Tito Double P strikes again.
Pause.
So that being said,
y'all already know that when it comes to the notorious mass effect,
I've covered Tito extensively to the point where I've talked about his double P records.
Now,
I know a certain someone from Bad Boy wish you would have thought of that record label first.
Now, all jokes aside,
Tito is one of those type of artists that puts up phenomenal numbers on the charts.
And not only does he put up phenomenal numbers, but he time and time again, he showcases why he's one of the more impactful artists from the Latin community as overall, not even just in Mexico.
Overall, right now, he has a 90-second most popular track in the world as far as tattoo.
And that track has been on the charts for seven weeks.
And it peaked all the way up to 72.
too. So that was a very, that was very much a hit as far as internationally. Because if you
don't know, there's overseas artists need a certain number of US streams to even be
eligible for certain RIAA certifications and especially Billboard when considering the top 100 and top
50 in albums. As Tito has the 36 most popular album in the world with the album in Komodo, which that
came out April 22nd, 2024. So now we're almost, actually we're more than a year out from that
album and it's still in the top 50 as the 36 most popular album in the world. And if you look at his
discography, it's the only album that he has out currently. Safe to say Tito is one of the more
impactful musicians from the Latin music field. And the reason why I'm saying that is because
of course there's another artist where I'm not going to say he's
carrying but all i'm going to say is this is my first time hearing of this artist maybe i'm just out of
the loop but this particular artist los deris de la sierra has a track titled viva vera ferv and guess who it
has on the track of course the one and only tito double p now of course with this particular
artist los de reyes um he has viva ver and that
particular track is the 11th most popular track in Mexico currently, but it did not come without
some tragedy. Sadden history as a notable event and Los De Reyes career happened back in 2004
where a shooting and Chihuahua, Chihuahua, I think this I'd say, I don't know, I was
pronounced, that ain't a lot to you, killed four bandmates leading Castro to reform.
their group now that is insane as far as a backstory and then you realize that he went on to have a
2008 album titled cone banda that reached 40 on billboard's top latin albums with the hit
austa l dia de hoi was topped regional mexican airplay so the reason why i'm listing out these
accomplishments is because i don't want it to make it seem like tito double p just carried
Lowe's De Reyes to a hit, right?
I think he carried his own way to the point where now his preparation
met an opportunity of a lifetime as far as two artists who have respectively ran up the charts
as now putting the collaborative fan bases together for this track title Vita Verb,
which is why I think is one of the most impactful tracks in Mexico,
as is the 11th most played track in Mexico.
So with that being said, this particular track,
is having Coritos, Balacos, blended with modern hip hop.
Now, of course, that's why I come in.
I love hip hop elements being introduced in the Latin community,
because when you think about it,
there's so many other genres that use certain things from other genres
that sound well sonically to the point where now you're sampling already made hit,
already established hits.
Like when Future and Drake had their track as far as wait for you,
sampling an already cemented classic hit as far as higher from thames right they sample that track
on wait for you and now wait for you is a smash hit and some fans who you know don't want to
downgrade them or just discredit their musical taste but some would say they don't even know
about thames right like think about making a phenomenal hit more popular artists take that hit
sample it and now people only recognize that as a greater hit and they never never
know where the actual inspiration came from that same year is when higher came out so you're
using it as a sample and your already iconic discography and now it's getting overshadowed that is why
i believe covering different genres and realizing how they influence one another is very pivotal
to understand the landscape of music because it's always a great thing to notice who's out here
driving the influence when it comes to creatively making music and that is why with los
de reyes and tito double p coming together for this particular track is a big deal as far as not only
internationally but also showcasing camaraderie because the last thing you want is these artists in
mexico beefing with one another so with that being tried this uh with that being said this track is
doing phenomenal on the mexico charts is also doing phenomenally as far as internationally and then
Only time will tell where Vida Fur will end up on the overall charts, but as of right now,
is the 11th most popular track in Mexico, and Los De Reyes and Tito Double P seemingly has yet another hit on their hands.
So that being said, click my link, share my bio.
Let me know on one of my social medias.
