Analytic Dreamz: Notorious Mass Effect - "LOS DAREYES DE LAS SIERRA - FRECUENCIA"

Starting point is 00:00:00 Now of course getting into Los de Reyes, I've talked about this artist before back in April 25th of this year. So of course, when it comes to currently getting into one of his, if not the most successful, well, probably not the most successful. But one of his most successful tracks of all time currently because of it being the fifth most played track in Mexico. And with that being said, when it comes to what track the album is on, is type of. titled rendentzion hopefully i pronounced it right i think i did but came out june 5th so of course it's been out for a minute when it comes to this particular track this was also released alongside the album and the music video was also that was also released with the track which you know saw a tangent for a second as far as visuals being attached to music i did not know the importance

Starting point is 00:00:59 of how much people associate quality with it having a visual right if it's just a static image if you don't have anything visually going along with your music nine times out of 10 probably 99% of the time it's not going to blow up so what i've garnered over the time of me covering the music industry is that if you're going to be a musician and you want to and captivate the masses if you're not putting visuals with whatever you're releasing you probably don't want it to be heard you know how i always say if you put your music out on ticot then you're definitely setting yourself up for success because now people get to organically run into your music and maybe share it with others when now i'm saying that you have to use tictock one of course but at the end of the day if you don't have visuals to go along with your track as far as

Starting point is 00:01:52 promotional material then you probably aren't taking your craft as serious as you think you are so anyways the reason why say that is because this music video is going insane right people a lot of people are listening and watching this music video um when it comes to the overall radio there's no major media placements there's no um ultimate like radio station that's playing this every hour on the hour ultimately is really performing the best in places like mexico guatemala honduras el savador nicaragra uh hopefully i pronounce that right um and then of course when it comes comes to the Mexico's placement specifically. I already talked about that being the fifth most play track in Mexico specifically.

Starting point is 00:02:37 But now I wanted to talk about his past success as far as Los De Reyes de la Sierra, which is a long name. But, you know, at this point, if you're this successful, I've covered you multiple times already. Might as well give him the respect and list out his full name. So anyways, the past success happened in 2005. That's when he first blew up and on Billboard's. specifically with his track L. Jabali and that went number 21 on a regional Mexican airplay. And of course he had major hits like Asta L. Dia de Hoi that was released in 2008 and spent 11 weeks at number one on regional Mexican airplay peaked at number three on hot light and songs.

Starting point is 00:03:22 And of course his first billboard hot 100. So now his first billboard entry. His first billboard hot 100. VVS was with Peso Pluma and Edgaro Nunes. That was two years ago. So safe to say, he's been grinding for quite some time, which showcases how if you stick to your craft, if you believe in it, and consistently deliver to your audience at some point, it may just blow up. So with that being said, the consistency is definitely, well, the consistency, the consistency and the resilience is definitely on display. with showcases why he probably has the fifth most play track in Mexico currently. And not all he does he have the fifth most play. He has the sixth most play.

Starting point is 00:04:06 Let me see. How many tracks does he actually have in Mexico going crazy? So he has two. Okay, so he has obviously, I haven't even said the track title I'm talking about. Well, it's harder for me to pronounce. I ain't going to lie to you. I think it's free Suencia. What?

But first, I want to tell you that he currently has back-to-back placements in the most played tracks in Mexico. He has France Suis. Yeah, he has a track I can't pronounce. And then he has the other one that's the sixth most played track, Vita Fur, that I've

Anyways, getting back into this specific track, I didn't want to give you the actual pronunciation just in case you wanted to look it up. Obviously, I'm going to spell it after. Starting point is 00:05:43 Los de Reyes is going on his first ever U.S. Tour and presented by... I know that ain't who I think it is. Live Nation. Ladies and gentlemen, when I tell you, Live Nation, let me chill. I ain't trying to end up like Onika. You know what I'm saying?

But anyways, yeah, so Live Nation is definitely going to be able to, you know, maybe pull some streams for that man as far as his first ever U.S. tour. And if you're going on a U.S. tour, best believe the booking agency that is Live Nation already looked at your analytics and they said to themselves, this man is doing numbers. Somebody get him on a U.S. tour ASAP. So if you don't know, there's a lot of things behind the scenes that happen before you're going to. They don't just let anybody be like, oh, I'm going on tour. They'll be like, oh, hold up.

Starting point is 00:06:31 You're going to look at your analytics because we ain't trying to have you looking crazy out here. So if you're doing this many dates spanning from August 1st to September 21st that Los de Reyes is, you come to realize that they already looked at the analytics, picked out the specific places that they want to perform in. And now he has a 20 city run, including major markets like Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Chicago, Boston, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, Portland, Portland, Orlando, oh, no, Portland. That's Orlando, right? Or am I tripping? I'm not the greatest with geography. I ain't

Starting point is 00:07:07 going to allow to you. Location. Here we go. Can't be spreading fake news, you know what I'm saying? Oregon. See, that is not Orlando. Look at me. I'm out here like, hold up now. See, that's the problem. Old time, I thought OR was Orlando. It's Oregon. I need help. So it's Portland, Oregon. That's the final stop for Los De Reyes. And of course, he's going to be in mid-sized theaters and House of Blues locations. And he's going to have special guests, but they're going to be different each night.
