Starting point is 00:00:00 Now I know what you're thinking. At first glance, you're probably saying to yourself, what are you doing covering Love Island? Aren't you a gaming and music connoisseur? Well, first off, thank you if you use the word connoisseur. You know what I mean, that's a lot of syllables. But at the end of day, when it comes to Love Island and of course the way that it notoriously impacted the masses, you already know what the podcast is about. So we have to talk about how every single time an episode drop for this season seven the world talked about it it got to the point where i was like hold up is everybody a love island fan i think ultimately if you have a significant other you had no choice but to watch the show and for me you know as far as getting into the show it was against my

Starting point is 00:00:44 own uh wheel you know what i'm saying at the end of the day when you get into the overall impact of the show and you realize how many people are watching the show to the point where you would get to a point where A lot of people aren't even talking about some of the main pop culture type topics. It's just only Love Island time in, time out, talking about different couples and things of their nature. It's like they're living vicariously through these people who are on this island. So with that being said, this is my reaction of the Love Island USA that just dropped two days ago. And essentially, A's, which I don't know any of the characters. So when it comes to A's, dishes.

Starting point is 00:01:26 I'm literally saying the title right here. Access Hollywood. Shout out to them. You know, got to make sure hit the like button. You know, I got to practice what you preach. Love Island USA ace dishes on if he's the group leader and confirms his height. Ladies and gentlemen. As a sad day in history when that's a title and it engages that many people.

Starting point is 00:01:46 But you know, I ain't going to be a hater. You know what I'm saying? So that being said, objectively speaking, this is the latest season of Love Island USA, which is seven seasons in, uh, seven, uh, season. 7 premiere, June 3rd, hosted by Ariana My Dix, May Dix. Oh, no, you pronounce that. aired every, no, aired daily. What in the world?

Starting point is 00:02:06 I mean, episodes. That's crazy. Air daily since June 3rd. It is July 13th. That must have been a lot of episodes. But with that being said, it features a group of singles referred to as islanders living in a villa in Fiji. I wonder if they were drinking the water there.

Starting point is 00:02:23 All right, my fault. You could throw your tomatoes. So it was on peak. and they the islanders must couple up based on first impressions and recouple at ceremonies to stay in the game okay so city boy uh city boys versus you know uh what's the is the hot girls i think it's hot girls something like no city girls hot boys it's called it's one of them city boys city girls they go in against each other and coupling up i guess and the show includes challenges dates and dramatic twists like casa armor i don't know what that is with a constant video

Starting point is 00:02:59 surveillance wait hold up now they got surveillance didn't did he get locked up for this same oh my fault anyways uh in fan voting influencing outcomes regarding ace green who's in this video he's a 22 year old dancer and content creator from los angeles he was originally on islander uh he was a original on islander i don't even know i say that He was on season seven. Why they keep calling them Islanders? Like, they're just, like, stranded or something. Entering Villa on day one and being dumped on day 30.

Starting point is 00:03:35 Goodness, alongside Shelley. I can't say that last name. Ace, known for his TikTok dances. All right, whatever. We're going to get into an interview. Basically, I'm giving people who don't know why in the world people are talking about this show. Hopefully, after watching this interview, well, a little bit of interview.

Starting point is 00:03:49 It's 18 minutes. We ain't watching this whole thing. But hopefully you get a little inclination of why people watch this show after this interview. Do you think most of the girls in the villa? were moving respectfully or do you think any of them were kind of being sussed and had alternate motives i'm so don't forget this is a post show interview so they're probably going to get into spoilers but you know with the show being over i'm pretty sure a lot of people have already watched you as far as the chatter as far as the engagement i've seen surrounding this show i'm pretty sure

Starting point is 00:04:48 everybody in their mama already finished this entire season so with that being said if you haven't you could always come back to it uh just type in love island analytic dreams with a z and it's your So that being said, let's get back into it. I'm excited to talk to you both. We've been keeping up with you for like six weeks. Sadly, we're meeting because your time on Love Island has come to an end. And that could, they got the boot. I found out yesterday what happened.

Starting point is 00:05:11 I needed to take a minute. I was shocked. How are you, how are you feeling? It's a little bittersweet, you know, honestly, but I've enjoyed my time with her throughout the whole entire process and everyday and everyday day and you know now we stepping into that new chapter of life outside the villa and i'm excited it's been you know day by day you know take more time getting to know this one even more okay well let's talk about life outside the villa because you right before are you guys sadly

Starting point is 00:05:42 someone know they like together like you went to the hideaway and ace you made things exclusive with oh that's what they're about to say right now i'm very interested in why i use the word exclusive versus closed off is it because you wanted this to continue outside of the villa For sure, like for me, exclusive is a very, very big deal because I'm intentional and I was very intentional with my time being intentional. I liked that. I like that. There was someone who I feel understands me and, you know, I could see myself outside the

Starting point is 00:06:09 villa with a person and, you know, I wanted to be not just exclusive in the villa, but exclusive outside in the real world. So this is the person. Oh, they found love. What does it feel to hear? An actual. Say that, Jelly. I mean, it still gives me butterflies.

Starting point is 00:06:26 Like, it makes me feel so happy because I know like where we started and like the rollercoaster we went through in there. Mm. And I'm just so happy that we both actually took a hard time to like explore versus like just being like, okay, you know what? This is the person I went right here. Like it was the thing of like a little mouse and cat situation. But once we were together, it's like this is my person. Like I'm so happy to be here. I'm happy like what we've made together and like where we're going to go.

Starting point is 00:06:52 Like it doesn't stop here. So. No, that's true love right there. that's so much true love i'm gonna cut it off right there i'm gonna let y'all see the rest because you know i'm saying that was just so engaging i ain't gonna cap to you that i just felt like you know just true love was around the corner for me man i ain't gonna lie to you you guys see that's the problem so anyways with that being said you know that's a little uh sneak peek into one of the two of the people who got kicked off the island at the end of day i already talked about the premise of the show it's going

Starting point is 00:07:18 crazy as far as it's on peacock and it premiered as far as season 7 June 3rd and it was releasing every day except for Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on peacock now I think the entire season is out with that being said these are the two people who got kicked off ace got kicked off and somebody else got kicked off who was the girl's name I think the girl's name was uh I don't even see it it's not Ariana it's somebody else Shelley I think it's Shelley yeah Shelley and then the last name I can't pronounce at all so usually when it comes to reactions uh I like give my honest opinions. Let's just say this not.

Starting point is 00:08:01 This isn't move me at all. You know what I mean? When it comes to this show, I don't think it's for me. It never was for me. So when it comes to that, I just want to let y'all know that this whole series is out now. So if you're a huge Love Island fan and they didn't know season seven was out, which, you know, it was hard to tell by the chatter online.
