Starting point is 00:00:00 Lucky Day is back again. Now, of course, this track is called Careful, and he wants us to be careful because this is the official deluxe version of his candy drip album. And you know what they say about drip? You know what I mean? You got enough drip. You end up drowning.
Starting point is 00:00:18 That's why Gunnetello said drip or drown. Anyways, Lucky Day unveiled this deluxe edition because, of course, this man is a musician at the end of the day. and that said that twice i don't know anyways i'm gonna keep going and lucky day is a very very talented it's very very talented sonically because as a singer and as r&B i feel like it gets a bad rap everybody acts like rnb is falling off rm b's not where it used to be and i just feel like people just fell off of what they enjoyed when it comes from musical content because i don't hear any country, rock, or pop fans saying their genre fell off.
Starting point is 00:01:03 And statistically, their genre fell off. Like hip hop took over. So for R&B, I don't feel like that type of title of fell off is applicable. Because then you could say that to pop. You can say that to country. You can say that to any other genre that's not number one. Because hip hop overtook all those other genres. but I feel like R&B kind of in a way just stayed the same.
Starting point is 00:01:32 So for R&B to not be the same, I feel like it's not a fair tag in a label to put on it, especially with people like Lucky Day, especially with people like Chris Brown, Brent Fias, who's a guy who did the track with Drake? I forget his name. I forget his name.
Starting point is 00:01:58 But hold up, because that's going on. That's going to bug me. I got to find it now. Let me see. He's like a really good singer. I know that doesn't narrow it down at all, right? Yeah, I probably like, man, there's like a bunch of good singers. Like, who are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:02:15 His name is Givion. Givion. Givion. Yeah, people like Givion. People like Givion. People like Drake, Brent Fias, division, party next door. Who else? There's so many people.
Starting point is 00:02:27 Todd Dulleson. He's more like of a. pop type R&B artist but anyways you get what I'm saying I feel like R&B gets a bad rap for falling off when all these other genres are also below hip hop so when it comes to Lucky Day dropping his official deluxe version of candy drip album and his new latest track called careful I believe this track is fire like as far as the lyrics I mean carry I mean he said carried away how you're going to light my fire and can't contain it. Why you want to tease my mind with all this danger? If I take the wheel, I drive you crazy. You know you're going to expedite around and break the dirty dog off a leash. I don't know what that means.
Starting point is 00:03:12 And see the expeditive you ain't dreamed. Expetive around. Bring an expedite back to the old me. Take it off. Now you're curious. You want to see. Now I ain't going to lie to you. Those are some seductive lyrics in a palatable fashion, unlike Kevin Gay,
Starting point is 00:03:29 which is in your face with it. So I feel like Lucky Day dropped a great track called Careful. And then also, he has another official deluxe version of Candy Drip, which is also fire. So anyways, click my link, trim my bio. Let me know in one of my social medias. What do you think about R&B in today's age? And also, do you think the careful track by Lucky Day is fire or trash?
