Shepard promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for ad free content now before you think
this is an ad safe to say over here in notorious mass effect we get into the gaming and music
IPs that notoriously affect the masses so with that being said ladies and gentlemen when you
look at the overall September numbers for a mobile game specifically Ludo King is
towards the top of that list as analytic well
So analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio, as of course we don't do fake news over here.
So I had to show you the actual screenshot.
As of course, when I was looking up, what game could we highlight for this specific month as far as putting respect on the mobile game and community?
Oh, come on, Drusky.
Come on, Drusky.
We ain't got to do all that, man.
But definitely make sure to rate this five stars.
So anyways, as you can see, Ludo King is right here by Game and Team.
We're going to get into that in a second.
Is it a game shin?
Is game shin or game tion?
I don't know.
Anyways, when you look at it, as far as the publisher, a game, game shin, and Ludo King,
basically this is a great combination as far as you look at the other mobile games
that we've gotten into.
And safe to say, they have made a notorious mass effect in a particular region.
Now, of course, what is that region?
you might ask safe to say all the sales from little king specifically has been coming from i actually
had somewhere okay here it is so it's been coming from chaturanga now don't exactly know that's actual
game okay anyways uh the actual location is in india because when you look at the actual accomplishments
is the first indian game to surpass one billion with the b downloads as far as revenue
Because you know what? Hall of Fame pocket watchers over here.
They've garnered $20 million in 2020 as far as four times the growth during the lockdown surge as far as COVID specifically.
500 million plus downloads by the end of 2020.
And of course, I just showed the chart on how is rising on the charts even in the specific months of September in the year of 2026.
As, of course, when you look at the demographic, 70 to 80 percent of downloads come.
from India. So safe to say, ladies and gentlemen, we're covering the entire globe, not only from a
music standpoint with me covering multiple genres, but also in a gaming standpoint, from a gaming
standpoint, because when you get into the actual game, as far as Ludo King, is pretty simplistic.
So with the sales out of the way, well, hold up now, we still got some more respect to put on
Ludo King. As if you don't know, when you look at Ludo King being a board game, the online
version of the game came out of 2016
because I believe
when it comes to Ludo King
that is the online version. Now where
the original creation came from
is from the board game
Ludo that was patented in 1896.
Ooh, but...
I know that ain't who I think it is.
If you ever want to know how old a person is,
just ask them their favorite board game. You know what I'm saying?
All right, my fault. You know, I'm just
saying you may have seen many moons if Ludo King
is your favorite board game.
game.
All right, anyways.
So with the original creation of the board game happening in 1896 in England by Alfred,
hold up now, Batman.
Oh, no, this is Butler, ain't it?
Anyways, Alfred Collier as a simplified version, right?
That was the first creation of the Ludo board game, 1896.
Ludo derives from ancient Indian, I don't know how to pronounce it.
Pachisi, Pocassi, when the world, Percase.
Casso? No, my fault. All right. It's, uh, I think it's Pachisi, the cross and circle race game.
And of course, when you look at the evolution of it, that's where you get Ludo King that initially
came out February 20th, 2016. And then ladies gentlemen, of course, the rest was history.
As far as the platforms that Ludo King is on is Android, iOS slash iPad OS, Windows, Web,
but basically it's everywhere except for actual consoles as PlayStation Xbox and Nintendo Switch
do not have any versions and there's no update on if they will actually receive versions.
So if you was wanting to play it on console, if you was wanting to play it on Nintendo, Xbox
or PlayStation specifically, who do need do? And we beat these folk?
Who do we beat them? We go full. It's not available. So anyways, as far as it being a mobile game
review, I will hope you already know that it's a high probability that may not be on other
consoles as far as the revenue dollars, there's a reason why it's rising up the mobile rankings
as there's no console versions available. But anyways, as far as Ludo King, I guess it's time to get
into what the game actually consists of. So to put it in layman's terms, as you're playing
against others you have actual pins i think that's what you call it and rolling a six grants an extra
role but also you do need a six to to leave home base with one of your pins right and i guess you
can call them tokens so your pen slash tokens can travel across the board to the player's home column
and the first player to get all four token slash pins win and that's it nothing complex about it
you roll a six to get one of your pins out you keep rolling to try to get to home base you get four of
them you win the game as simple as that so now when you look at the extras of the rules you come to
realize that three consecutive six is forfeits the turn right landing on an opponent token usually sends that
token back to the base and grants another role.
And two friendly tokens on one square can create a block.
And you have star spaces that act as a safe zone.
So ultimately, it's a pretty simplistic game, right?
So if you're looking at this, wondering, well, how do I play it?
Well, I just laid it out.
You know what I'm saying?
Nothing too crazy.
Come on, Drewski.
Anyways, but that being said, when it comes to Ludo King,
as far as the multiplayer options, you have the,
computer you can play the computer online or you could do local or online for two to six players local or
online like you could do either or it's not like one or the other and of course you could play with up to
six players as far as online matchmaking you can have private room so if you don't have if you don't have a
board game and you just want to download the app you could do that as well you know as far as you
hanging out with a couple friends or whatever and y'all looking to some looking for something to
get into, if y'all are into board games and don't have it, you can actually download the app
and get right to it.
So there's quick slash rush modes.
There's team variance.
There's eight player tournaments.
There's monthly seasons, daily goals.
There's built in snakes and ladders for two to four players.
And when it comes to the Ludo King online optimization and user interface, they have text
to voice chat, they have emojis, buddy lists, global player search, rematch, rematch, and
matches and clubs slash out of spaces.
So as far as progression, this is a board game.
It's not one of those type of games where, oh, what's the meta?
This is how you get the best load out.
It's not one of those type of games.
Just think of it as like a monopoly or uno game, very simplistic and meant to have fun with
your friends slash family.
So Ludo King is not one of those type of games where you should be sweating at,
trying to look up all the best builds.
The best build is enjoying that game with.
with the people you're playing it with or against.
So there's multiple themes as far as Ludo King.
There's Egypt.
There is nature.
There's disco.
There's candy.
There's pirate Taj Mahal night and seasonal designs.
You know,
because of course,
because of the mammoth,
the amount of revenue and engagement that's coming in for this game,
they're updating.
They were all type of theme board designs and things of that nature.
Because, you know,
of course they can't really change the gameplay loop.
or updated to the point where it's a completely different game so cosmetic-wise they update
a lot of different seasonal boards so you stay uh refresh or so it stays fresh as far as every time
you hop on the game so let me say as far as the downloads for ludel king overall because you
talked about how it's leading the pack we're not leading but it's towards the top as far as mobile
game installments which i showed at the beginning of the segment but looking at the overall
downloads approximately 55 million downloads and 10 million downloads uh i forget what the d a u
means i think it's downloads i don't know what that means but 55 million downloads overall
within about a year according to pocket gamer and then roughly 80% of the early installs come from
india already reported on that but unity which is a whole other company they will
reported that Ludo King had approximately 1 million Android installs in 25 days.
And of course, Ludo King reportedly reached 100 million installs in under 500 days,
becoming the first Indian app widely recognized for passing 100 million downloads,
followed by 500 million around late 2020.
So if you ever want to be that person that comes to Game Night with a dark horse
of a hit, a dark horse of a board
game, safe to say Ludo King,
is the best way to show people
on game night that you're serious
about bringing some of the
top high quality games
and they may even ask you,
where did you get this specific board game
from?
Just tell them. I'm a real gamer.
You know what I'm saying?
Just look at the state of gaming. Like,
what is going on? The whole time you was listening
slash watching notorious mass
effect. Now anyways.
As far as the review roundups for this board game, it's not anything specific or unique about all of the reviews aside from they thoroughly enjoy it.
A lot of 10 out of 10s, a lot of reviews saying they really enjoy the game.
Ultimately, there's plethora of reviews that basically are saying that they enjoy the aspect of playing this game with their friends and families.
but to be fair, to play devil's advocate, there is a specific sentiment when it comes to the online game,
giving out too many consecutive sixes to certain players, but it's a very minute portion of the Ludo King audience,
but I just wanted to say that to be fair.
So when it comes to review roundups, we are basically covering a board game in mobile game format.
So I just wanted to give you the overall review reception from conglomerance,
which is basically very positive.
So outside of that, when you look at the publisher,
as I hinted, not hinted,
but I talked about the publisher earlier
as far as Gamshin technologies.
Basically, they are Mumbai-Mumbai-Mumbai-Mumbai-Base indie studio
founded in 2008 to 2010 by Vakash J-Swall and shifted to mobile
at 2013 through 14.
And of course, the flagship, Revitable,
driver is definitely Ludo King that came out in 2016.
But other games under their umbrella that's doing pretty well in the gaming ecosystem
is Karam King, Suduco King, etc.
But the primary way of making revenue is, of course, ads being monetized.
And even though the games are free, the advertisement definitely brings.
brings in a lot of revenue in general because, you know, you look at the majority of the revenue
coming from advertisement being placed in their games. I mean, any entertainment property or
any IP in the entertainment field can understand and relate to that as far as advertisers being
the biggest revenue driver for your specific IP. So anyways, that's what they get it all from.
It's not like micro-transactions out to Ouzaw. You know what I'm saying? It's a war game at the end of
days it's not really too much you can buy as far as micro transactions they give you an unfair
edge over your opponents which is a good thing you know so i just wanted to dive into the publisher
specifically and also we just talked about ludel king so at the end of day as far as your boy putting
respect on mobile gaming community and board games safety safety safety did phenomenal job
you know what i'm saying that's why i was just saying druskey and you ain't got to do all that but
definitely make sure to click my link tree in my bio to follow me and my social
media and of course if you're on spotify make sure to comment down below what are what is
your favorite board game of all time
